I think every LK fan loves Devil In Winter and honestly who can blame us?! Sebastian and Evie's love story was angsty and sensual and sweet! Another fave of mine is Married by Morning, I adore Leo and Cat! it happened one autumn is also really good!
Frankly, I am an absolute sucker for his character. I just love it when character a is so in love with another character who is absolutely oblivious to it, and character a just can't hold that love and passion in anymore which is exactly how Matthew Swift is 😍❤️❤️

My favorite stand alone from her is again the magic ❤️ Lisa is just incredible. I would die of happiness if the wallflower serie was picked up for a tv series ❤️❤️❤️
Yes I agree. This is so random but I spammed the Netflix's comment section after Bridgerton was released to consider making a tv series of Lisa Kleypas books.😩❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've gone through the entire Wallflower and Hathway series and now I'm overcome with wistfulness for the first time reading experience. Leo Hathaway and Simon Hunt stole my heart 😭😩😩😩😩. I love Leo's unfiltered talks😂 and Simon's possessiveness. The scene where Cat asks if his arm aches this morning and Leo says like hell but it eased eventually. She suggests they put it in a poultice that's when Leo realises they aren't talking abt his burning loins😂. Gosh it was hilarious 😂😂😂

I love Lisa Kleypas's historical romance novels! I was so excited when she returned to writing historical romance with The Ravenels series. I do agree that the majority of her books can be read as a standalone, however, I feel that Marrying Winterborne should be best read after Cold-Hearted Rake. Great video! You do us Lisa Kleypas fans proud!
I vaguely recall from reading a comment in a reading group on Facebook that Lisa Kleypas is altering Secrets of a Summer Night and It Happened One Autumn (and maybe other books, too,) to take out or rewrite the dubcon scenes. I haven't read the altered versions, have you? I know she changed "gypsy" to "Rom" or "Romany" in the Hathaways series.
Devil in Winter was my first Lisa novel too! I found it in NY when I was 16 on a high school trip and the rest is history! I ended up naming my daughter after the MFC, Evie! I'm so happy I found you, thank you for your videos!

I saw the title of this video and thought that I would need to tell you my opinion that the very best Lisa Kleypas book is Dreaming of You. But then it was the first book you brought up. All of the Hathaway books were wonderful too. I especially love Seduce Me At Sunrise, with the unforgettable Kev Merripen. But they are all wonderful. The Ravenels series is also great.

I adored Marcus and Liilian.🤤🤤🤤🤤 Lillian's headstrong and willful nature and Marcus's transition from condescending to this overbearing caring and lovestruck guy with no prejudices against class n all is drool worthy🤤🤤🤤
Love in the Afternoon sounds so good. I want to read it and it's the 5th book in the Hathaway Series. Why do I always read book series out of order and just read whichever book sounds the most interesting. I mean the only book I read from Lisa Kleypas is the 4th book in the Wallflowers Series, so it only seems fitting I read another from her series out of order, but I need to go back and read all her Wallflower Series.

Her Travis series I find is best read second book first. Because I think Hardy is much better introduced in his book than the first.
It took me a while to make my way to LK but since discovering her I can't go back to some of my less than ideal writers in the same category. My first book was Cold Hearted Rake and I audibly sighed ~out loud~ multiple times at the magic of this book. just really sweet and loving heroes and a plot that takes it time.
I feel like I'm the only one who didn't love Devil in Disguise but it still was really sweet and charming and I love anything with a Scottish burr
She’s a sighing out loud type of author for sure!! Sooo many swoony lines, especially from her heroes 😍
Don't worry, I'm right there with you xD
Ahhh finally!!!!! Loving this video
Thank you!! 💕
It happened one autumn is her best I must confess...
Lillian and Marcus are fabulous!
Yes absolutely!!!!!
Love from India ❤️
@@LaceyBooklovers absolutely
Love in the Afternoon is the freaking BEST! Plus, lots of adorable animals are in it. And yes, you definitely need to read the rest of the Wallflowers!
I feel like I would love Lisa Kleypas.
I love Lisa Kleypas! I first read the Hathaways series first and to this day, I love Find Me- they are so good for each other.
But Poppy's story was super good too!
bless you for this, beautiful! thank youuuuwu! ❤️xx
🥰🥰💗💗
make a video with your fave angst books pls
This was exactly the video I needed.thank you so much!
I read all her books but so many that I had had no space. I gave to a store that contributed to people in need.
Love her older books. Again the Magic is the best. The newer ones aren't just doing it for me. Currently Julia Quinn is killing it.
She’s amazing
Read all her books and love all of them except for prince of dreams.
She’s amazing! And I’m so impressed you’ve read almost all of them
I'm a huge fun of Lisa Kleypas 🥰 #TheHathaways are my favorite series especially #TemptMeAtTwilight
That family is the BEST 😍
