Yay for Devil’s Bride - my favorite. If you liked that one you should read The Promise in a Kiss which is the love story of Devil’s parents, which is also one of my favorites. Both are so good!

I just came into my historical romance era. I’m currently reading Lord of Scoundrels and almost done but I already know it’s going to be a 5 star for me because I was hooked from the prologue! I really hope to find the first edition paperback sometime. I’m having fun collecting old school HRs and I’m totally adding some of these to my wish list!
Missing 2 of my fav all-time books, Sweet Savage Love by Rosemary Rogers and Forever My Love by Penelope Neri. I have read both several times over the years and it doesn't get any better, trust me. Happy reading!

I really want Judith Mcnaught to re-do and expand her book Miracles and give Nikki and Julianna the story they deserve.
I love Judith McNaught (her contemporary books too), Lisa Kleypas (it's been too long since we had a new book from Lisa), Sarah MacLean and I've love reading Johanna Lindsey. But some of my favorite historical books are, "Night In Eden" by Candice Proctor and "The Passions of Emma" and "Heart of the West" by Penelope Williamson.
There is a really great historical romance book that I love because it’s interracial; “White Trash” by George McNeill . It’s a classic and can be hard to find. During the Pandemic I found two copies online and bought them. 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
The Ravenels, Wallflowers, Hathaways and Gamblers of Craven's are my favorite historical romance series from Lisa Kleypas. Reading Dreaming of You is definitely a worth read.
I love the Brenda Joyce series esp the Westmoreland Dynasty & then the Bragg dynasty. the Francesca Cahill series is awesome too❤❤❤ You should honestly read those historical romances as well. But yes, Whitey my love, I cried so much, my heart pained like never before ! I read it over 3 times now it is still my fav! And thanks a ton to introduce me to lisa K, I read all your recommendations on it. Loved & cried so very much!
Catherine Coulters Sherbrooke Bride series is one of my favs, Candace Camp Willowmere series and so many more of hers, Mary Balough Bedwyn series and so many more of hers as well! And Annie’s Song by Catherine Anderson Love Jude Garwood books as well Johanna Lindsey,Jude Deveraux, Bree Wolf, Lindsay Sands highland series amazing, and Lisa Kleypas as well just so many that are amazing Kathleen Harrington Dream Seekers series, so hard to find these but they are amazing Just wish more historical authors would release their books in the larger size then the mass market because they are hard to hold and as I get older I can’t read them printing is to small. So as a result Idont buy them anymore and my reading of of historical has gone down so much.
Loretta chase lord of scoundrel was hilarious 😆 and sexy. I also read don’t temp me by Loretta chase was also excellent funny, steamy, loved the characters. Judith Mcnaught ❤️ you introduced me to Loretta chase so 🙏
Fortunes Bride by Roberta Gellis, the heroine is shipwrecked on the Spanish shore during the Napoleonic war and is rescued by a British officer. She travels with the army as his wife so he can keep her safe. One of the reasons I liked this book is she is not pretty but he falls in love with her saying sometimes when he looks at her she's very plain and sometimes she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

I loved some of these books. Lol I graduated HS in 96. I'm feeling kinda old here. I love that you're embracing some of the older but very good historical romance. That being said maybe you can help me. I'm looking for an older Scottish Historical romance I can't recall the title or author just the beginning of the story and the cover. But she is given a property in Scotland (I think by the king) and the old Laird is now a wanted man. But he parents to be a servant who was struck so hard he now has the mind of a child. And he uses her concern for him to kinda trick her into marriage somehow so he can regain his land. but the sciences when she thinks he has brain damage are kinda hilarious because he totally uses it to come on to her and be inappropriate and she thinks he just doesn't know any better and tries to teach him. Lol if you know it's name and author I'd be so happy. Some.on your list are forgotten favorites.
Count me in as one who loooooves Annie's Song. He took her out of a toxic environment and gave her freedom and choices. I wanted her out of that house so bad! Her parents were awful.
