Let me give you example. Since English is in booming state all most all the literature, information are in English now a days. Other languages are slightly going away.
Even hindi is struggling now imagine other languages.
How ever all languages have huge amount of knowledge with them losing one will be huge lose to humanity.
In that south language are very old came from brahmi script they are abundantly rich languages contains huge info and knowledge.
First people need to understand this. Mainly it's people mother tounge that language is the part of them not a external thing the first word they talk when they are child to last word they talk when they die. That's the importance of language in his/her life.
For common understanding is ok but it's taking a shape of imposement. Our rural area people don't know hindi english now govt putting hindi or other state people as employees in govt organisation and banks every where.
The sufferings of people who couldn't get service in thier language in thier own land now imagine this happens to Hindi belt region.

Dundu Mallige is another type of Jasmine. ‘Dundu’ means round, this type of Jasmine is round. In the first paragraph, the singer is saying, “I offer Happy flowers on your head, Mahadeva. Happy flowers on your head”
She’s saying she’s brought Lotus flower, a tightly knit flower garland maale, Vilva leaf, Tulsi leaf as an offering for him for the pooja.
She says, “I’ve washed the vessel clean, have made clarified butter, have brought Oranges, have brought Oranges for you after bargaining hard for a seru(it’s a measure of quantity, like KG)
Those who are climbing the mountains to have your Darshan, they have forgotten their dreams, their homes, completely surrendering to you.
The context I see is this is a folk song, so many hundreds of years ago, this woman has made clarified butter to offer, you can imagine how difficult it would have been in those days to distil clarified butter starting from Milk. Also to wash a vessel clean, fit enough to offer something in it to her beloved Mahadeshwara, these ppl have forgotten their dreams and homes aspiring to have darshan of Male Mahadeshwara and have ventured into the thick forests of Western Ghats. Risking them becoming food for the wild. Completely surrendering to him.
