Ummm, WatchMojo, you completely forgot the MOST shocking moment to ever appear in a video game: when Roman asked Niko to go bowling for the 100 000th time
+Spectrum Dash blew my mind as i looked up at the moon and remembered how the walls where made with moon rocks.I still love to play the story over and over.
ryann45 yes all of those are just remakes of the previous with graphics that are not improved at all, zero skill is needed, and many many glitches are current. If you are saying all of the recent games are shit then I have no idea why you replied cause thats what I said. I said that all of CoD games were good, until ghosts. ghosts is shit, BO2 is shit, AW is shit, BO3 is probably gonna be shit. basically all of the ones after BO are shit because they release a new one every year so they have very little time and put very little effort into them. They even used old cut scenes from the old but good games. I am sure CoD could have games that were amazing if they would release them less often, I mean look at valve, nobody complains that their games have low quality for the time they are released or about bad storyline or reused cut scenes, that is because they take 6 years to put as much into their games as they can and to make the games up us pc gamers standards, trust me we have some high standards too, thats why we hate CoD.
Dalek No, what they mean is it should have been in the Top 10, not as an honorable mention. And I can see why, it's rare in video games based on the comics to actually kill off characters, especially because it tends to limit sequel possibilities
The main villain dying is schocking, but the way the game was going it fit. I thought it was more schocking that the Joker that you thought was the real one turned out to be Clayface the whole time.
Richard Stacpoole no, not that much, yeah more convoluted than your usual COD plot but its just a nonsensical time travel plot as they always are, with even a dumber ending
I understand what they tried to do, but they failed miserably at it. If you go with the multiverse theory that the game is based on, then nothing you do matters because it didn't happen in an infinite number of universes. If they had somehow gone back in time to before booker was born and prevented it, they would save a lot of universes, there would still be an infinite amount from the timeline where they didn't kill him. Killing booker after he chose not to become comstock has zero effect other than killing himself (just in that timeline) the whole ending was one giant plot hole that the average player is to stupid to even see, and it pisses me off.
Tesla Haxz I haven't played or even thought about Bioshock Infinite in quite a while so I might mess this up. My understanding of the universes they were in is that they all diverged from Bookers choice to be baptized or not to be, and then from various other choices characters made throughout the game. So by killing booker they destroyed all universes where Comstock even existed. Again U might have messed this up, I haven't played the game in a while, or you might be one of the few people who can wrap you head around this idea of multiple universes.
But the booker you play as already made his choice at the baptism right? So it was too late, and if they had gone back in time and killed him at the baptism it would make sense (more sense anyway) but they didn't. And even if they had done that, there would still exist an infinite number of universes where they never killed booker at all. That's why I don't believe in multiverse theory, it's so ridiculous, in theory it's interesting, but in practice it makes no sense. Say someone offers me an apple, according to multiverse theory there exists an infinite number of responses to that person offering the apple. There is a universe in which I strip, yodel Hungarian folk music, and then auto asphyxiated myself. (Theoretically) I prefer predestination, of course I said yes to the apple, because a multitude of factors including past experiences with apples and the fact that I am hungry right now, tell me I want the apple, and I would want the apple no matter what.
Tesla Haxz now, now, i was with you until you mentioned predestination which is even worst ,a cluster fuck of nonsense, plot holes, plot devices and time paradoxes, easily the worst time travel movie i've seen,if you want to give a good example of a 1 timeline time travel movie try 12 monkeys (1995 movie not the shitty 2015 tv series) , and no the multiverse theory makes no sense in bioshock infinite, but it's much more plausible if you look at reality and the crazy mumbo jumbo physics of our universe

Jenny's death in the Darkness has really left a mark on me personally. Whenever people ask what was a shocking moment, that one comes up most of the time as my personal #1. Just didn't see it coming at all. You have a good time with Jenny and she was believable. When she gets taken it's the typical "go save your girlfriend". But when you finally get to her, to see the Darkness prevent you from saving her and Jenny getting shot right in front of you. Damn man... that was a true "holy shit" moment for me.

Petrovik Ivanosky I don't think joes death was confirmed. If they were going to kill a major character like Joe I'm sure they would show us his death scene.
Mojo, wouldn't it be a good idea to let us know *WHICH* games you are going to spoil *BEFORE* you ruin them?! Oh... and (spoiler alert) I think that Liquid's reveal as Master Miller from MGS should have made the list.
UnkeptMoss328 Well they did give you a spolier alert, so they nothing wrong. If someone gets any of the games spoiled, then that's on that person for not listening.
ManUtdBoy13 But how are you supposed know what games are being ruined? So unless, you have played every single game in existence then by your logic you should't watch the list...
UnkeptMoss328 Or you could have ignored the list. You shouldn't be navie and think that the game you play might not have a plot twist. When i was about to play Mass Effect 2, i hadn't watched or heard ANYTHING about it. I stayed clear of ALL of these kinds of videos because i didn't want anything to get spoiled and for doing so, then i didn't spoil the game. You got warned that spoilers was ahead, and yet you kept going. It's like complaining that someone stepped on a mine in a mine field when the sign doesn't tell you exactly where it was, but it still warned you that it was there, you faced the consequences of not listing.
I know some..... *spoliers!* ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... .....Dust is a fusion of two people (Dust: An Elysian Tail), The Preacher was never possessed by a demon, he was just insane (Twisted Metal Black), Callie and Marie were once secret agents (Splatoon), Flowey was Frisk's friend reincarnated as a flower (Undertale), Past Eggman was secretly helping Future Eggman (Sonic Generations).
Just saying but having to kill Andrew Ryan in the first Bioshock felt WAAY more intense then Infinite's ending for me. I was shocked the whole time because 1.) I wanted to kill him purposely without being forced 2.) He knew his city was fucked so might as well get it over with 3.)The slave twist and WYK was spectacular 4.) And the fact that he forcibly made you kill him by testing your humanity. I loved Infinite but all it was that "Booker is Comstock so you have to die for nothing because there's still one left in Rapture." Seriously, as sick as this sounds, killing all Comstock's when he was a baby would've probably made a happy ending
How about Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, when you are going through the Chapter 5 class trial, trying to find out who the killer was, when suddenly everyone starts blaming you, and you are falsely accused guilty and your execution fails. That was pretty damn surprising.
Metal Gear Solid (PS1) when Snake activates Metal Gear Rex INSTEAD of deactivating it and his master turns out to be Liquid Snake. That moment was SHOCKING!
One moment I remember clearly, well I don't know if this qualifies, but in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, during the Middle Phase of Operation Supercircus, one of your squadron members, Chopper, gets shot down. It doesn't happen immediately though, you hear him say he's been hit and that the jet's systems are failing. You can hear the alarms in the background of his conversation and you hear Edge, another wingman, and the AWACS constantly tell him to bail out. The thing is, the only place to bail is in a stadium that is being evacuated. He keeps his damaged plane in the air long enough for the evac to finish before angling for the stadium and hitting the eject switch. However, it fails. AWACS and Edge then panic, telling him to keep trying as his plane drops lower. Then, you hear Chopper chuckle as he comes to grip with the situaton. He then says one last thing as AWACS says one last plea to try. I'm gonna miss that voice.
AlphA DarK That's always confused me about their lists. They have viewers make suggestions and vote on them, but then they claim the list is their (WatchMojo's) choice. wtf.
Assassins Creed ending- The game is a dream, such a good and shocking ending! Super Mario Bros. 2 ending- The game is a dream, what a lousy ripoff! Uh...
Um, the ending isn't "it's a dream" in Assassin's Creed. You learn at the very beginning that it's all just a simulation of memories that are within Desmond's DNA. The ending is Abstergo using the map that the Apple of Eden presented to try and find other Pieces of Eden, and finding out Desmond has Eagle Vision.
I personally was shocked when in Megaman X, Zero sacrifices himself to help you take down Vile to get to Sigma, killing Vile with a hadouken was the best feeling ever.
I played Black Ops when I was a lot younger (That age where I didn't care about story and just wanted to shoot stuff LOL), because my brother owned it. It was lost before I was old enough to understand the story, and I have seen that scene (even played it when I did understand the story ONCE) but I just didn't get what the game was saying. You explained it all in like 1 sentence. Thank you. I was so confused as to whether I WAS Reznov, or was just not getting what was going on. Now you have explained it for me. I still want to get that game again and play the whole thing, because I knew 98% of Black Ops 2's story and it was incredible. I am wondering if understanding all of BO1 will make 2 better. AND I am wondering if in any way he will come back in BO3. I doubt it based off of the story...actually I don't think Mason would still be alive then. It's in the 2060s. He wasn't exactly "young" in BO 2 and that was 2025.
A really good plot twist was in Batman Arkham City when it turned out that Clayface had been playing Joker the entire game I think he said it was "the role of a lifetime" pretty shocking moment.
You know, you could at least do the lisgt of the games you spoil next time. Of course this list is full of spoilers, but please say what games are listed so we can pass the ones we don't want to be spoiled.
Even if you have finished some games of the list it does not mean you finished all of them and maybe you'll want to play some of them. But since there's no timestamp, we cannot know wich games are being spoiled and that's not good.
I don't think you played every video game of all times yourself, right ? Here the list describes what it is spoiling along with the name, I don't care about some games, but how could I know if I wouldn't care for all of them unless I knew wich games were going to be spoiled ?
SJ.Fox seriously? you dont feel sympathy for what happens to humans in that universe? have you no empathy at all? the 3 of you that commented are just fucked in my opinion.
Terry Munson It's the video game's job to immerse me in its universe. If it failed to do that, blame the developers and writers. That universe is a silly B class, testosterone driven "dude" movie. Squeezing predictable fanfic melodrama in there just didn't work for me.
Or you can just enjoy a fairly popular series that developers worked hard on and stop trying to overanalyze shit in a video game. Bitch about hollywood or something. if not then, to each his own i spose.
Tesla Haxz In the later games they handled the desmond segments so poorly that i dreaded getting out of the animus for some stupid shit that wasn't fun. By the time revelations(?) comes around and desmonds mind is like, trapped in the animus on an island for some reason i just couldn't stand the thought of having to play that shit instead of the ezio bits.
It was ok, but take everything not happening in the past: the glitches, the hidden messages and references, the videos. That is where the depth of the series existed.
Fallout 4: your son is 60 years old and runs the Institute. Okay, I know that game wasn't out when this video was uploaded, but it's still worth mentioning.
I think you mean "can be amazing" when it's not AC 3 or Unity or any of the handheld titles and we are starting to have a problem aren't we AssCreed was/is good when it was the old ones (Ezio's trilogy and to some extent the original) and when it diviates from the normal (black flag)
Honestly, the ending to BioShock infinite is completely dumb, in order for Comstock to never exist, it would have to be the luteces to die seeing as how they both set everything in motion
that game was extremely disappointing. Am i the only one that felt the entire game was extremely repetitive? The same enemies over and over and the monotonous level design etc.
commander392 The Luteces couldn't die because they were stuck in between the dimensions. If you understand the storyline you would see that it all makes sense.
luke21121 oh yes, because certainly there is no possible way to go back to when they were alive and 'smother them in their crib', believe it or not buddy, I understand the story and it is complete horseshit, if he could move Steven hawking would be shaking his head in disbelief.
commander392 Sorry but it doesn't seem like that you understandd the storyline. If you would, we wouldn't be argumenting. I think you don't know that Robert and Rosalind Lutece are the same exact person, just from two diffrent dimensions. Besides, you cant kill them. The game says so and we have to accept the rules the game is giving us. I don't know but maybe you should watch a video where the ending is explained.
luke21121 I know they are dimensional twins, just like booker and Comstock, killed by fink under comstocks order by destroying their dimension machine, then they set the events of the game in motion by bringing booker into comstocks reality several years after Anna/Elizabeth was taken from booker. If you can kill Comstock by drowning booker, you can stop the whole events by killing the luteces when they are young, mainly the chick because she built the device and contacted the guy through dimensions, please don't insult my intelligence, I've played the game, I understand it fully.
The ending of Lords of Shadow was one of the most shocking scenes I've ever seen.... The third lord reveal PLUS the true enemy showing up... Back when I was playing it, i needed to pause the game before the last battle, just to undersant what was happening
I kinda thought that finding out The Batter is a Spectre or The Queen and Hugo were your family from OFF would've gotten thrown onto one of these lists, it didn't but those moments took me a couple minutes to comprehend when I chose The Judge's Special Ending XD
The ending of Final Fantasy 13-2 was way more shocking. You beat the final boss, victory fanfare is playing, and everything is set up for a happy ending. Then Serah drops dead and the world ends.
I feel like Sora's Sacrifice from Kingdom Hearts 1 deserved at least an honorable mention. You fight through all the worlds, level Sora up, and what does he do? HE KILLS HIMSELF. AND I CRIED WHEN HE DID. I WAS SCARRED.
And, of course, if you like video games, here's our Best Video Games per Generation series th-cam.com/play/PLmZTDWJGfRq3eds44dAbboKOcITKbdibS.html and, the worse of 2014: goo.gl/jFkGHM
Puppeteer - Ezma Potts is the Moon Goddess. Tales of Xillia 2 - Ludger is the girl's father. Drakengard 2 - Legna is the mastermind. Silent Hill Shattered Memories - The one at the office between sequences is Harry's real daughter.
I distinctly recall articles where the sci fi aspect of Assassin's Creed was discussed before the release. It wasn't a shock, it was a known and intriguing point known from the start.
I found it interesting that all the Elizabeths in Bioshock Infinite's Ending were actually all the possible character models. Well, all were 'scrapped' except one. And you can see them in the end.
That scene in Dying Light when your character think’s Jade has turned into a viral and is trying to kill you so you strangle her but it turns out she is still human and she was actually trying to save your life.
The only sadness I felt in Gears of War was for the Locusts. they were on Earth first and humanity exterminated them. They would've been content living underground forever except the Lambent forced them out.
I don't know why but the ending scene with Wheatley and the other core always made me laugh, since Wheatley gives a sad speech and the other one interrupts and says "Were in space."
I never played any of the Assassin's Creed games, so when I saw #1 I was like, "Ohhh! So THAT'S what ties the games together despite them taking place in different locations and time periods!"
since the ending of the last of us is a mirror of the start of the game i'd say both the start and ending are just as shocking, also i think the clayface reveal in arkham city is more shocking than the joker dying, because you knew as soon as the bottle smashes he was dead, but the reveal of clayface was so well done with the mirror and flash backs that i think that was more shocking
What about finding out the main character was actually Darth Revan the entire time, in Knights of the Old Republic? That was one of my favorite moments
9:45 - Hey, I personally am okay with assassins' creed to have Desmond as the protagonist, reliving his ancestor's memories. Sure, it was a bit of a jarring twist, but I personally enjoy that aspect of the game.
10 most shocking moments for me: 1. General Shepard kills Ghost and Roach (Call of Duty: MW2) 2. Soap's death (Call of Duty: MW3) 3. Midna destroys the Mirror of Twilight (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) 4. Where Breath of the Wild takes place in the Zelda 5. Gray Fox's death (Metal Gear Solid) 6. Salazar was an underover agent for Menendez (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2) 7. Ishmael is Big Boss (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain) 8. Team Metal sacrifices themselves (Call of Duty: MW3) 9. Yuri knew Makarov (Call of Duty: MW3) 10. Frank Woods shoots Alex Mason (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2) Other moments, but weren't as shocking: -Dima being held prisoner in the Kunlun Mountains (Battlefield 4) -Avenged Sevenfold playing at Club Solar (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2) -King Daphnes sacrifices himself (The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker) -Zack Fair's death (Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core) -Lillie leaves for Kanto (Pokémon: Sun & Moon) -Rorke captures Logan (Call of Duty: Ghosts) -Rorke used to be a Ghost (Call of Duty: Ghosts) -Corrin/The Avatar is not from Hoshido or Nohr (Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright/Conquest/Revelations) -Hades appears (Kid Icarus: Uprising) -"Marth" is actually a woman and is Chrom's daughter (Fire Emblem: Awakening) -Miller was really Liquid in a disguise (Metal Gear Solid) -Liquid takes over Occelot's body (Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty) -Boss' death (Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater) -Finding Red at the top of Mt. Silver (Pokemon Gold & Silver) -Sonic (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) -The ending of Ben & Ed -Metal Gear RAY (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) *The first 10 aren't in any particular order
Ummm, WatchMojo, you completely forgot the MOST shocking moment to ever appear in a video game: when Roman asked Niko to go bowling for the 100 000th time
cousin its roman, how would you like to go bowling
Alan Lozano Not now, Roman. I'm busy.
Oh ok, well maybe some other time
hey niko its your cousin roman, you wanna go bowling
Jane C hey sir its me ur cousin
I never get bowling he wants to go to the strip club
love Viktor Reznov, such an awesome character and one of the few characters to stand out in Call Of Duty,
He's been in all treyarch cods since WaW and I've loved him
Xenocide CBK How's he gonna be in Black Ops 3?
He is voiced by Gary oldman too
Chaos89P easy, just use an Animus like in Assassins Creed to go back since everyone from the 20th century that knows anything must've died.
even just like to see him if you play as mason if he is in Black Ops III and he is just in the scene, may say a word or two but he is always with you
The Portal 2 ending still kills my heart to see the little guy get into space. He was my favourite character ;(
I loved him, then he betrayed me, now I hate him
+Spectrum Dash blew my mind as i looked up at the moon and remembered how the walls where made with moon rocks.I still love to play the story over and over.
+Spectrum Dash He turned against you so he kinda deserved it though
+Spectrum Dash He's a doublecrossing little shit who jumped ship and betrayed you the first moment he got the chance. He fully deserves it.
GLaDOS is my favorite character so I'm glad she got back to power... But it was still sad to see Wheatley go... SPAAAACE!!
When Bowser kidnapped Peach.
:D
6:22 One thing that gave away the fact that Reznov wasn't real was the fact that you could fire at him, despite him being friendly
Can you explain to me Reznov's moment, i never played cod: black ops
The World at War/Black Ops story line was fucking real.
ryann45 CoD had good story lines and they were generally amazing games till the more recent ones like all of the ones coming out since Ghosts.
Gaus Does Gaming you mean just the one? Advanced Warfare. Shit. Ghosts? Shit. Modern Warfare? Shit.
ryann45 yes all of those are just remakes of the previous with graphics that are not improved at all, zero skill is needed, and many many glitches are current. WHAT? There was a Second World War? And a Cold War? Holy fucking shit
Gaus Does Gaming No, You said they were all good until ghosts. That means MW games included. MW games sucked. WaW, BO1, Bo2, were awesome.
Joker's death should have actually been on the list, who the heck saw the master villain dying ever?
Earth Linger is in the list...
The shocking part was the fact that the joker was really clay face throughout the game
Alex V D I think that was put on their Part 1 of most shocking moments
"Things get complicated towards the end of Bioshock Infinite." Well... if that isn't the understatement of the century.
Richard Stacpoole no, not that much, yeah more convoluted than your usual COD plot but its just a nonsensical time travel plot as they always are, with even a dumber ending

We knew it was gonna happen though, it was sad, but not shocking.
MangaalGaming what about when he got bit? I was pretty shocked when that happened and i'm sure most gamers were
MangaalGaming I meant when he got bit, leading up to his death.
Well some players may not have killed him. In this case, he didn't die, he just turned.
MrTheBroMoe When that happened I literally shouted "Holy shit, what the fuck"
WatchMojo... Putting South Park Mr.Slave butt over The Last of Us emotional intro....
The rectum thing was more surprising
Nick Green oh, definitely! But I mean... Come on, put something in the middle... I went from ninja cutting onions to grossing lol in an instant!
Luis Cabrera People voted it higher than The Last of Us, WatchMojo didn't just do that.

Jak 3.
Jak is actually from the waste land
Yeah you're right
SirMustachio100 ??????
Heart of Freljord no
SirMustachio100 Jak means how in Polish
Adam Sujkowski okay.
Mine personally was discovering that Ocelot (MGS Series) was not being controlled by liquid but was actually hypnotized all along
Yeah I know it was all just hypnotic suggestion, drugs and nano machines just to fool the Patriots and all of us as well.
Bioshock Infinite should've been higher on the list. An awesome mindblowing experience :D
Ehh, not really. It was really forced
Tesla Haxz
different oppinions i guess
The fact that you were comstock (kind of, but not really) was interesting enough, but everything that followed was nonsensical in its execution.
TRUE! 😎
TheFlomboy Vomit-inducing bible-thumping crap.
Jenny's death in the Darkness has really left a mark on me personally. Whenever people ask what was a shocking moment, that one comes up most of the time as my personal #1. Oh lolz
Henry's murder in mafia II.
TheoneandonlyCrowMan As fucked as that was, I think Joe's death was more shocking.
Petrovik Ivanosky I don't think joes death was confirmed. If they were going to kill a major character like Joe I'm sure they would show us his death scene.
The mafia was taking him into a graveyard after saying he wasn't part of the deal, I think it's reasonable to say that he's dead.
TheoneandonlyCrowMan too right, man
Skid Mark Bob Guess we might find that out in Mafia 3

Mojo, wouldn't it be a good idea to let us know *WHICH* games you are going to spoil *BEFORE* you ruin them?!
Oh... and (spoiler alert) I think that Liquid's reveal as Master Miller from MGS should have made the list.
Complain about them not warning you on specific game spoilers then proceed to say a spoiler about a game with no warning whatsoever...
sneekylilbast Well to be fair the game is retro... I think after 17 years we can stop saying spoiler alert for it!
What about Roland's Death in Borderlands 2!?!? That was so sad for a borderlands lover who played as Roland in the first game
- Snake... you've been talking to...
- Me, dear brother!
Mojo should do the saddest moments of halo series
Lexus Gaming johnson, cortana :´( Noble six death
And then Another!
Michael Benedict Johnson dying was sadder
Michael Benedict One of the only two moments I ever cried at a video game.
1. When Halo combat evolved was released.
#1: The Cake is a Lie, Portal
What about when Kratos stabbed himself?
Good.
Itachi_Uchiha67 I definitely like that one.
Itachi_Uchiha67 who is krato?
CaliforniaShark Main character from the God of War games
410adelson Oh, I've never played god of war. :)
Telltale the walking dead, Season two, Clem meets Kenny again

Just saying but having to kill Andrew Ryan in the first Bioshock felt WAAY more intense then Infinite's ending for me. I was shocked the whole time because
1.) I wanted to kill him purposely without being forced
2.) He knew his city was fucked so might as well get it over with
3.)The slave twist and WYK was spectacular
4.) And the fact that he forcibly made you kill him by testing your humanity.
I loved Infinite but all it was that "Booker is Comstock so you have to die for nothing because there's still one left in Rapture."
Seriously, as sick as this sounds, killing all Comstock's when he was a baby would've probably made a happy ending
Necromaster2077 Andrew Ryan is in the first "Top 10 shocking moments in video games" they made ;)
How about in Shadow of the Colossus when...
Agro falls into the ravine?
he lives lmao
She, actually. Agro is female.
They covered that in another video
call of duty black ops 2 Mason's assassination when you do it
All of AC is a mindfuck, from the fact that it's a simulation to Desmond killing Lucy to Desmond dying, just one mindfuck after another.
The last of us greatest story line ever could honestly be a movie and it would make millions
Peter Dunkerly JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A MOVIE FUCKING AWESOME Christian bale should play Joel
+Tresh. YT Why it should be a movie? The game is as good as any movie.
Emma Watson could be Ellie.
+LGaming Ellen Page could be Ellie.
+Carlos Ascanio Ellen Page IS Ellie. They are just too similar to each other, plus Ellie sounds like a nickname for Ellen. :'D
fuck im playing through bioshock at this moment and this shit happens
Your own fault
I loved that game. How are you finding it? Spec into the carbine. Works wonders.
AlterBridgeSurfa
the game is fucking awesome, i also have all 3 dlcs to play after so that will be great too
Fuck, same here
First they tell me the spoiler of Bioshock 1, of the "Would you knidly" thing, now this shit
Wifi Is Love Wifi Is Life lol
I think it was a bit shocking to find out that Commander Shepard betrayed you in Modern Warfare 2
Finding out Booker was Comstock is #1 for me
Brandon Albanese i know it's stupid they put it way behind
Heavy rain plot twist should be number 1.Scott initially seemed like such a nice guy
One of the biggest twists ever for me was when Kessler was revealed to be Cole from the future in the first Infamous game.
How about Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, when you are going through the Chapter 5 class trial, trying to find out who the killer was, when suddenly everyone starts blaming you, and you are falsely accused guilty and your execution fails. That was pretty damn surprising.
It was pretty damn surprising.
Also: The Neo World program/ Chiaki is an AI. The reveal of the remnants of despair, and Junko being the mastermind.
The whole game was a shock fest. Naegi got so suspicious of everyone that he started questioning the chickens existence at one point
Why not with Trigger happy Havoc when you find out that the whole world was destroyed.
you could have also put Finding out Fugisaki was a Boy
The only shocking moment I'll ever see is when watch mojo is running out of ideas
I literally thought I had bought the wrong game when that happened in AC
The end of Máfia 1 is awesome, and the reference of the end of Mafia 1 in Mafia 2 is mind blowing as well
Metal Gear Solid (PS1) when Snake activates Metal Gear Rex INSTEAD of deactivating it and his master turns out to be Liquid Snake. That moment was SHOCKING!
You forgot the most shocking moment, when bowser stole peach
Lee gets bitten from The Walking Dead.
I know right? coming out of that barn, I was just like "what?! No! Nononono....shit!" Followed by crying.
My favourite moment in a video game is when half life finally fucking ended
The Darkness was a masterpiece. Not the most sophisticated gameplay, but an amazing storyline and incredible visuals.
GTA: San Andreas! When BIg smoke and ryder betrayed you. Or how about BATTLEFIELD 3 when your teammates died or how about battlefield 4?
+Gj Lipana no
+Gj Lipana no one cares about call of duty. Everyone who claims it has a story or twists just doesn't know what a story or twists are.
+Gj Lipana No one cares about Battlefield's single player.
+Gj Lipana I love that everyone still loves san andreas :D
Brainwashed Callie in Splatoon 2.
Maybe in the another list.
Doms death should've been higher but good list
Ryan Garnham well that is just your opinion. and the list was voted by viewers. If you want something to be higher on the list try voting,
AlphA DarK That's always confused me about their lists. They have viewers make suggestions and vote on them, but then they claim the list is their (WatchMojo's) choice. wtf.
pizzagrenade WatchMojo are the people, they are illuminati.
Ryan Garnham Well that's just like, your opinion man.
One I was hoping to be on the list was Zanza is the villain, Xenoblade Chronicles. Or Fiora is Face Nemesis, also Xenoblade.
Nintendoman1998 My plot twist was when Dickson shut Shulk
Aviad Hass Just everything in Mechonis Core blew my mind.
"What a Twist!" Made me fucking die.
The life is strange scene where Chloe is on life support and asks you to put her down actually made me cry a little
That Jenny moment got me really hard 2007. Cause i lost my girlfriend too 1 year before that. That was horrible
The ending is Abstergo using the map that the Apple of Eden presented to try and find other Pieces of Eden, and finding out Desmond has Eagle Vision.
what about when the ghosts died in mw2
Price is prisoner 627 MW2
Welcome to the under 301 club! How tough are ya?
I ate a bowl of milk this morning without any nails in it
I eat cereal everyday without any Milk seriously milk sucks
I was shot sixteen times and instead of getting medical attention im telling you about it
6 shooter How tough am I?!? You got a bottle of ketchup?
I took a shit without wiping.
JAAAAAASON JA-son JASON!!!!!!!
A really good plot twist was in Batman Arkham City when it turned out that Clayface had been playing Joker the entire game I think he said it was "the role of a lifetime" pretty shocking moment.
I think Dom's death makes sense. His family died, he got to visit his wife one more time and he died saving his friends. Poetic to me tbh.
+MrBaGamman If you've already played some and don't want to see the others why fking watch this video in the first place ffs...
I don't think you played every video game of all times yourself, right ?
Here the list describes what it is spoiling along with the name, I don't care about some games, but how could I know if I wouldn't care for all of them unless I knew wich games were going to be spoiled ?
Still laugh at Gears attempts at drama. They expect me to feel sympathy for these chainsaw wielding, alien invading, flesh rending jocks. Lol!
SJ.Fox exactly, i doubt most of people even remembered dom after beating campaign and jump into multiplayer
aw454wtr At least they remember the music playing when he died.
That was the best part of the creed mythos.
I know, what's with all the hate I'm seeing? I loved it!
Desmond parts were my favorite, except in 3, that was just stupid, no plot at all
Tesla Haxz you thought animus island was good? that shit was barely tolerable.
Army of Two: The Devils Cartel when you find out that Salem didn't die and he's actually El Diablo. That was a major twist in that series!!
Assassins creed is amazing.
I agree.
I think you mean "can be amazing" when it's not AC 3 or Unity or any of the handheld titles and we are starting to have a problem aren't we
AssCreed was/is good when it was the old ones (Ezio's trilogy and to some extent the original) and when it diviates from the normal (black flag)
Side Tracker Holy shit you just wrote my entire opinion of AC that i had for years in 57 words.
Side Tracker Do you like Fallout?
I do yes
i do like my Fallout
Honestly, the ending to BioShock infinite is completely dumb, in order for Comstock to never exist, it would have to be the luteces to die seeing as how they both set everything in motion
that game was extremely disappointing. Am i the only one that felt the entire game was extremely repetitive? The same enemies over and over and the monotonous level design etc.
commander392 The Luteces couldn't die because they were stuck in between the dimensions. If you understand the storyline you would see that it all makes sense.
luke21121 oh yes, because certainly there is no possible way to go back to when they were alive and 'smother them in their crib', believe it or not buddy, I understand the story and it is complete horseshit, if he could move Steven hawking would be shaking his head in disbelief.
commander392
Sorry but it doesn't seem like that you understandd the storyline.
Space! SPAAAAAAAAACE!!!
Jades death-dying light
halo 4 cortanas sacrifice
Holy shit yeah that was good
+RedAndPurpleMc PVPGaming no, that was expected as fuck and halo 4 is one of the worst in the whole franchise
Azef True...
sorry bro just giving my opinion(and the overall opinion of the halo community)
Azef i wasnt sad either, i just realized that it wa ovious. Cheers
SOAPS DEATH IN MW3
or 2 i forget
that's what I'm saying but they add resnov
even him i agree but it just can't be all cod
The ending of Final Fantasy 13-2 was way more shocking. You beat the final boss, victory fanfare is playing, and everything is set up for a happy ending. Then Serah drops dead and the world ends.
I feel like Sora's Sacrifice from Kingdom Hearts 1 deserved at least an honorable mention. You fight through all the worlds, level Sora up, and what does he do? HE KILLS HIMSELF. AND I CRIED WHEN HE DID. I WAS SCARRED.
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE
No walking dead? ok..
+Fabi Oranski I know, when Lee got bit by the Zombie.
That was the saddest thing ever...
+Fabi Oranski its on the list saddest video games on #1
And, of course, if you like video games, here's our Best Video Games per Generation series

Adam Castro an overused theme
The bioshock twist is definitely in my top five. My fiancé and I both sat mouth agape while the credits rolled.
"the castle get's flipped upside down"
AND I'D LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT AND SIT RIGHT THERE-
The opening of TLOU is the one single reason I've only played through the game once. No way I want to experience that again.
General Shepard’s betrayal- MW2
I found it interesting that all the Elizabeths in Bioshock Infinite's Ending were actually all the possible character models. Well, all were 'scrapped' except one. And you can see them in the end.
That scene in Dying Light when your character think’s Jade has turned into a viral and is trying to kill you so you strangle her but it turns out she is still human and she was actually trying to save your life.
the dom part brought back memories r.i.p dom you were a brother
The only sadness I felt in Gears of War was for the Locusts. they were on Earth first and humanity exterminated them. They would've been content living underground forever except the Lambent forced them out.
I don't know why but the ending scene with Wheatley and the other core always made me laugh, since Wheatley gives a sad speech and the other one interrupts and says "Were in space."
because it made everyone else laugh too
Yeah lol
10 most shocking moments for me:
1. General Shepard kills Ghost and Roach (Call of Duty: MW2)
2. Soap's death (Call of Duty: MW3)

4. Where Breath of the Wild takes place in the Zelda

6. Salazar was an underover agent for Menendez (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2)
7. Ishmael is Big Boss (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain)
8. Team Metal sacrifices themselves (Call of Duty: MW3)
9. Yuri knew Makarov (Call of Duty: MW3)
10. Frank Woods shoots Alex Mason (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2)
Other moments, but weren't as shocking:
-Dima being held prisoner in the Kunlun Mountains (Battlefield 4)
-Avenged Sevenfold playing at Club Solar (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2)
-King Daphnes sacrifices himself (The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker)
-Zack Fair's death (Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core)
-Lillie leaves for Kanto (Pokémon: Sun & Moon)
-Rorke captures Logan (Call of Duty: Ghosts)
-Rorke used to be a Ghost (Call of Duty: Ghosts)
-Corrin/The Avatar is not from Hoshido or Nohr (Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright/Conquest/Revelations)
-Hades appears (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
-"Marth" is actually a woman and is Chrom's daughter (Fire Emblem: Awakening)
-Miller was really Liquid in a disguise (Metal Gear Solid)
-Liquid takes over Occelot's body (Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty)
-Boss' death (Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater)
-Finding Red at the top of Mt. Silver (Pokemon Gold & Silver)
-Sonic (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
-The ending of Ben & Ed
-Metal Gear RAY (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)
