I am convinced that one of my villagers is a murderer. My new town is pretty sweet and I've had it for maybe two weeks. Paula moved into my town (she's a bear) and I liked her. She was nice and sunny, but the other day she mentions her spring cleaning in order to get rid of a few "things". I think, 'oh, so like a table or something?' No. She offers me a SKELETON. I say sure (benefit of the doubt because I like her) and continue on my way. I find a lost pouch later in my routine (maybe ten minutes later) and ask around for who lost it. Paula did and this is her EXACT quote: "Uh oh.....that weird critter with the big fangs got out...." Holy. Shit. I've got to become friends with her fast so I can stay alive.
... I had Paula.... she offered me a "creepy skeleton" . . . I took and soldier (I REALISE IT WAS RARE NOW) and the alpaca said "How did you get a real skeleton?" And just gave it back to me and added "I'm not touching that!"

Phyllis's shift in personality from irritable to merely cold (heh) is actually given justification in a conversation you can have with her at the Roost past midnight if you happen to come across her. Apparently, Tortimer's mayoral term saw her being overworked beyond reasonable limits, on top of having to work the night shift (not to mention the Zipper T. Bunny duties). Now that the player character and Isabelle handle mayoral duties, she is noticeably more relaxed than her previous appearances, much to her gratitude, even going so far as to wishing the PC had taken the position sooner. TL;DR: Character development made Phyllis nicer.
I usually tell my villagers to stay when they say they're gonna move. One instance was similar to this; it seemed she really wanted to leave. So I said good luck. She got so offended that I would let her leave that she called off the move in an attempt to spend more time to improve our friendship. haha

I just realized something. Shrunk is Animal Crossing's Natsu. He's a salamander, which is Natsu's wizard name in Fairy Tail, and they both love any kind of food. Shrunk=Natsu
Marie Fiske As much as I love Fairy Tail, I dunno if Salamander and Food is enough to claim two characters as the same. Natsu is very aggressive and loyal, he's always fighting and getting himself into trouble where as Mr. Shrunk is kinda there. He likes telling jokes but thats about all we know about him. And Yes, he is an Axolotl, not a Salamander unfortunately.
I agree with +corgicute Axolotls (pardon if I spelled it wrong) aren't THAT similar to salamanders. And lot's of characters/people like all types of food. Also, he isn't a 400+ year old resurrected etherious Demon child/human/dragon slayer. And there's no Lucy. #Nalu4eva

While I don't have new leaf yet, I do play city folk and I do the same thing. I even organize my furniture section of my dresser by their sets. The lovely set goes in one section modern set in another. It's kinda funny because I'm like Emile when it comes cleaning and organizing my room in real life.

that joke was actually pretty good. if you didnt get it, he just said that in someplaces shaking your head left to right means yes, so when he said his jokes where funny, and the audience didnt find it funny, he took it as yes you thought it was funny........ you get the point now.
it was kinda funny seeing stinky on the side like "yes now I can have Emile to myself"
