I needed this video today. We're having major work done at our house today, and it's spiking my anxiety bad. Your videos are just the chill, relaxing vibe I needed. ❤
Awwwwwww.... I'm so sorry you are having anxiety! But what a huge compliment to say my video can play a part in relaxing! I hope you're doing well today, Andi :)
I love the Pringle soaps! The black soap is surprisingly pretty. One of these days I’ll make a “fancy pour” round soap. I don’t know why, but round soap makes me smile.
I love that you make these videos for us. I also like Activated charcoal for it's gentle exfoliation and the fragrance sounds beautiful. I love the puck shaped soaps, the shape fits perfectly in the hand. How's the house hunting going I hope you find the perfect house and land package soon. Have a wonderful week to you Shonna, Aaron, Boris the rat pack boys and your other pets. Stay safe Xx
Thank you, Tanya! I always look forward to hearing from you! We are still house hunting. People with more money keep outbidding us on the houses we want :( But I know we'll find our home and land soon! Take Care, my wonderful friend :)
I'm so glad that you are a friendly sort of young woman, and you have a special smile and a knack for information which is only a few of many reasons I love watching your videos. The soap does look like a puck of soap and that could be a good name for it. I can't say I've ever been bored to date, SO keep it up...I'll Be Back!
Non soap question. Just curious...how many times do you move your furniture around? How many configurations have you come up with? I used to do the same thing.
This comment made me laugh because I've been asked that by people that come visit, too. I probably rearrange my furniture every 3 months. I have no idea how many configurations I have come up with. I love to rearrange because it makes the old feel new.
@@NezumiSoaps When I was younger, it would drive my parents crazy how many times I moved my room around, or when I moved the living room furniture around. If I had more time in life today, I would probably still be moving stuff around frequently.
So NOT getn bored with the Pringle can mold soaps!!! I think I can speak for all your viewers when I say shut your mouth girlfriend🥰🥰🥰 And the food prepped with lye IS super bizarre! I've always thought so! Bit you nailed it...the noodle guy, the bagel guy and the pretzel guy had ideas and lived to tell their delicious tale!!
I've known about pretzels & bagels, but I had no idea about ramen noodles or hominy or any of the other things you mentioned! It IS such a foreign concept & has confused me since I was 11 years old and wanted to make 'real pretzels'. I loooooooove big soft pretzels. And bagels. YUM. Very nice soap :) I hope you have a wonderful day & keep making videos! You have interesting facts to share and do things differently. I hope your house hunt is going well and see you next time :) xoxox
Love it! What an awesome way to negate the effects of the vanilla discolouration. Loved hearing all the lye facts. Maybe they use lye in food at a more watered down concentration? No idea, but super interesting! Love stopping by your channel and seeing what you're up to. Great to see another vid! Thanks for sharing!
The look on your face mentioning not to use pale things with activated charcoal made me laugh. I do enjoy when you explain backstory to things. Also, with activated charcoal, why didn't you mix it with the oil instead of the lye water? Does it work just as poorly? Thank you for talking about alternate kinds of lye though, I knew about the pretzel thing at least, if not that ramen could be made that way, though I knew there was a couple methods to get the bounciness. You don't need to worry about me goign anywhere though!
:) Thank you, Skeren... I should have put it in the oil, it works better that way. But I'm usually doing things in different ways to see if they work. This time it did not work. I am so happy you're here!
What a fun video! The soap is really attractive! I have charcoal pills on hand… good for digestive issues. I have a question, what role does lye play in soap? Is it considered a necessary ingredient? Really, just curious! I always love your videos! 😀 And I love your soap! I use it every day! ❤️👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lye is a requirement. It is not possible to make soap without lye. Soap is literally the result of Lye+Oils. Thank you for asking! I'm so glad you're here making soap with me :)
Love your commentary. I learn so much and laugh and smile along the way.
Awww, Thank you very much!
Love it! And love your beautiful smiling face in all your videos. ❤
You are sooo sweet, Jan

Love activated charcoal soaps!
Me too!
I love your style 😊
I sure appreciate that!
A lovely soap Shonna. I love a nice charcoal puck of soap. You are considered a friend in my book. Blessings on you and your family.
Thank you, Lauren, you are absolutely a friend in my book as well :) Blessings to you and yours!
Love it!
Thank you !

I think I heard on some chemistry TH-cam channel that certain processes deactivates the killer instinct and lye?
I'll bet you're right, Betty Jane!

What is peppermint candy?? 🤷🏽
it is a hard white and red candy flavored with peppermint.
This video is in honor of Don Rickles
I love Don Rickles, but I'm curious what brought him to mind through this video?
@@NezumiSoaps Your reference to a hockey puck. Don Rickles would call people hockey pucks. It was one of his go to insults in his comedy routines.
