Can we just talk about how quick and precise Kuroko's teleporting had to be to get in the helicopter as it was crashing, save a dude, go back in, do it again, and also make sure their momentum didn't translate so they crash hard every teleporting and die? Kuroko is insame
NarwhalMuncher well her teleportation is precise and she works for judgment that alone gave her guts she probably changed after the first bankrobber case she was in where misaka saved her by blasting the door with her railgun
She's very precise. In fact she's a genius cuz she has to use 11 dimensional math to teleport and she barely sweat after doing all that quick maths

There is only one teleporter that could have reached lever 5 and that's Musujime Awaki but after her accident she became to scared of her own powers to reach it.
Haha, people complaining about how the chopper conveniently came down in the river. These girls do physics defying calculations in their heads (Kuroko has to use 11 dimensional maths to teleport, Misaka has to understand how to alter potentiality and manipulate magnetic fields on a whim), and people think they couldn't make a helicopter crash safely with a simple vector calculation?

it's hysterical to me how it looks from the chopper's perspective. they just got away from an electromaster who was holding them back, then some minutes later she just appears from the fucking sky aiming at them. it just screams a scary type of "I'm back bitches"

I've seen this scene like 10 times, and I just noticed that the turbine she is sitting on at the end is turning the opposite direction from the rest. that's a great detail

Thesinistereyes1 Nah, it helps that she has her own spinoff to develop her character and she is not simply reduced to tsundere trope. If she only was in Index and there was no Railgun then she wouldn't be as good of a character.
nope i disagree with the last sentence. i take that you hadn't caught up with the novels. she didn't need railgun series to develop her character. in fact, at volume 14 and 16 she gets major developments i mean huge development. it's like saying with railgun she is 9.3/10 without i'd say 9/10 as a character.

Yea she can manipulate a huge quantity of iron sand at a time, repelling that rotor blade really is nothing.
(See Railgun manga, I think in the latest arc she literally creates a giant with iron sand using magnetism and did a huge railgun blast with it)

Dasky14 i didn’t actually say they invented it, i was just saying that the scenes are rather similar, which leads me to believe that they may have been influenced by this scene in railgun. Misaka will always be the cutest though

This is my favorite of all Mitoko's railgun moves, upside down and falling from several hundred feet up. With a bit of Kuroko for good measure, it makes a great clip to show someone new to the To Aru series who might be asking "What the hell is a railgun?".

I like how the level 5's are constantly holding back to protect their opponents lives, while their opponents are making it annoyingly hard for them to do so.
I just love how creatively she uses her electricity, one the best electricity users in anime

Toaru is just very creative in the use of powers. Misaka is actually horrible at using her head and her powers most of the time. Like in this clip, she could have just walked back down the concrete wall to pickup Saten and the other girl. She could have also yeeted herself down, and then vaulted back up to carry them over. Also, when first faced with the helicopter, she could have used her electromagnetism to slow down the propeller, causing the helicopter to descend. Using electric arcs to pull the helicopter is very dangerous and might have damaged sensitive equipment or even fried the dangling girl.
There's also Darker Than Black that used Electricity in a very very realistic way.
Can we talk about how Saten-san is the only one without any powers and still joining the rescue?
Misaka and Kuruko are high level espers, the were never in real danger. Saten on the other side risked her life there!

This is the life of a level 0: Touma, Hamazura, Tsuchimikado, Frenda, Saten etc trying to find their own strength while fighting to survive.
Apart from his protagonist powers, Touma is a born street fighter
Apart from the protagonist's luck, Hamazura has weapons and robots from the city academy
Tsuchimikado cannot use much magic or he will die, that's why he specializes in martial arts
Frenda specializes in arts martial arts and bombs
And Saten has his baseball bat lol

well kuroko hasnt gotten that strong yet and its hard for her to teleport a lot at the same time it seems she can only teleport things she can touch or touching her
Actually, I don't think it is possible for her to ever be ranked as a Level 5 by the city because of Musujime Awaki's Move Point. It's a superior teleportation esper ability and that's all the ones behind the scenes care about.
Adam Steele depends misaka went from 1 to 5 (its possible) althou kuruko is wasted usually cause of judgment work (they can grow) to lv5 on thier own lv 6 is where they need said researchers or outside help but lv5 is not hard misaka herself went from 1 to 5 only then she was cloned for the purpose of lv6 project (accelerator) she can be ranked as level 5 but she's probably can't be ranked higher than someone with superior teleportation look at it this way misaka and what ever the meltdowners name was thier skills are close but misaka is more efficient and versatile but thier ranks are so close to each other so its not so farfetched to have two people with teleporter as lv5's

The wind turbine at the end is turning the wrong way. Her sitting on it without doing anything is effecting it due to her constantly emitting an electric field with out realizing it. Good job animators
Edit: we see this again during touma’s fight with accelerator when the sisters affect the wind turbines. This also shows how much more powerful she is compared to them because they actively had to emit the field
It's her AIM, that's why she can't touch small animals like cats.

Great way to start of the second season. You get a electromaster/teleporter combo flex, a review of previous events, and the classic fluffy slice-of-life comedy. 11/10.
Sはシリーズ全体で見ると、和気あいあい→一人で背負い込む→仲間と協力という神構成。

Railgun is a prime example as to why shows should care less about realism and more about the Rule of Cool. Teleporting into the sky and positioning yourself upside down to shoot a coin into a helicopter is extremely unnecessary and unrealistic, but it's cool as hell.
