Last Summer, I stayed at Hilton in RW for $140/day for a few days. Small and compact but new and nice.. I played roulette and baccarat at Crockfords high limit and won a couple thousand bucks which helped pay for abundant foods and hotel stay there. Can't wait to be back next year!

Resort World is so big you could get lost inside!
Never been to Vegas.. $140 sounds reasonable for a new hotel.
After our stay at the Conrad, we never went back to Hilton. We loved everything about the Conrad! Highly recommend! I hope they never change the toiletries, they're amazing.
I got a free night stay at Wynn during Covid, as they were doing a “thank you” promotion for medical professionals and first responders. Amazing resort and I hope to do another stay with them in the future.

Yes, I agree. Wynn rooms are lux and spacious! We have been comped there as well as Encore. Had a birthday at the outdoor pool. Pretty amazing! Played at Golden Nugget and loved being by the pool. Awesome slide.

The Bellagio is my favorite because, as you said, it is so quintessentially Las Vegas. It continues to be one of the most popular and luxurious properties and I love the remodeled rooms and dining options. Looking forward to the “Project Mojave” planned addition where the walkway is now.

A fine list of higher end properties. If I was ranking high end properties it would be just Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo. Each of the other high end properties for me have flaws that make them not worth the expense.
As a middle class person with mostly middle class tastes, my five favorites would be: Park MGM, NY-NY, Planet Hollywood, Paris and Planet Hollywood. If forced to stay Downtown, it would be the Plaza or the Cal, as far from Fremont Street I could get.

Hey Ruby, my wife and I have eaten at S !& W twice, once for our anniversary, and once for her birthday, and the food and the service were just superb. HUGE thumbs up for this restaurant!

I’ve only stayed at Resorts World, out of the hotels on this list, and it was an amazing stay. Definitely great dining, from casual to high end, and the rooms at the Hilton are awesome. I have yet to stay at Conrad or Crockfords. Mandalay Bay is an amazing hotel as well, and I’ve stayed there twice (once at Delano, with a surprise free upgrade). We just stayed at Planet Hollywood and had the most amazing dinner at Strip House. Amazing steaks and drinks. Juan was our server there, and his service was impeccable. 😄
My favorite is park mgm because no smoking!

Cosmo is great ! Love the vibe and the killer balconies. Surprised to see Venetian not on list, they have amazing gym and pool complex. Also I love the over the top Italian style of the property and the fact that all rooms are suites! Also I think Aria is great! You do a great job Ruby!
My wife and I always stay at the Jockey Club. Not a hotel or casino, but it's like an apartment. It is nestled between the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. Great location. Thanks for the video!

We usually stay at Mandalay or Delano as it truly is a great value. We buy the parking with our stay and love that we can drive to other MGM resorts and park for "free." I'm hoping that the upgrade Delano now that it is being rebranded as the W. Thank you, Ruby, as always, and I hope you and Mr. Ruby, have a Merry Christmas and Wonderful New Year!

I absolutely agree with this video as someone that has been fortunate to visit many of these properties 2022-2024.
RW pool complex is seasonal but they keep one large wading depth all ages pool and a hot tub spa open year round.
Circa's Stadium Swim also only staffed life guards in the top 2 pools on our winter visit but it was still a healthy atmosphere and fun experience - really comfortable water.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Delano in the scenic suite and that was the best room I’ve ever booked! I really want to stay at the Wynn, Vdara, and Venetian but my pockets aren’t ready for those hotels. One day 😅

They have their charms, but there are probably a few good casino - hotel budget properties too. (Pet consideration aside)

Resorts World is a very underrated property based solely on its location. My wife works for Hilton; we can get rooms there for 50 bucks and at Conrad for 80. That is a steal for the silly high quality. Both have mini fridges, which is a rarity for casino rooms.
Interesting! The last few years, I've told myself that when I go back to LV, I want to stay at either Circa, Wynn or Resorts World. Nice to know they are your favorites!

Thanks Ruby. We already have reservations at PH for the last week in January (my b-day), but this was really helpful. We will hit some of the dining options you are recommending and I saved it so that we can consider some of your hotel recommendations when we head back later next year, or in 2026 (I am getting old, geez). I am 56 and my first trip to LV was in 2018. I regret never visiting prior to then, but I am happy I decided to give it try when I did as my wife and I really love going to Vegas. Anyway, thank you. You ought to see what the suites are like! (Only because we have major contacts in your town!) It is thee ...nicest upscale hotel in Vegas. Bar none! Great vid!

It never ceases to amaze me why hotels don't address what us customers see: dirt, run down facilities and rooms. Of all the costs a hotel incurs, a little TLC on highly visible things would go a long way in making guests feel comfortable and having received value for what they pay.

Wynn is our home away from home for more than 10+ years. It's a privilege to stay there at least once a year.
Love Cosmopolitan. Great rooms and you have to go with the balcony! I dig to one bedroom option with the fountain view.

Palazzo/Venetian is my favorite. Spacious rooms, great restaurants, price isn’t usually too high but rooms still have a lux feeling. Also prefer the Palazzo to stay at but gamble on the Venetian side as it’s more lively.
Hi Ruby, I came back a week ago from my first trip to Vegas and the USA from Northern Ireland. Took me a week to get over it. Stayed at the Linq. There was a stall there selling 1 can of beer for $18 and the liquor store was $12 for one can. Didn't buy them but I am in the wrong business. Anyway, attached to it is a bar/restaurant called Off The Strip with the best happy hour from 2pm til 5pm. Check it out. The staff are also excellent. Shout out to Sky, Max, Trey and Jeff (even if he is a Seahawks fan)
Wynn is just The best. The atmosphere is amazing, restaurants have the best food (breakfast @ Tableau, Lasagna @ Allegro, Asian @ red 8, Steak @ SW Steakhouse, Brunch @ La Cave), rooms just remodeled. It's perfect.

Great video! Having Mandalay a close 6th with no mention of the Palazzo/Venetian property in your top 6 is surprising but definitely shows I have very different taste than you!

Enjoyed the review. We have been going to LV since 1980. I remember the Horse Shoe when it was the first MGM. I’ve been to all the Casinos you described but Circa. Personally I would stay at Venetian/Palazzo over any MGM property.

The spa at Resorts World is $140 to use on weekends, if you don't book a treatment. So for just steam, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge you gotta pay up. Your resort fee doesn't cut the price! The Bellagio spa needs an upgrade, but at least its reasonable to use.
All great choices for higher end hotels and Mandalay Bay reminds me a lot like the Mirage and the south Strip will be hopping if the baseball stadium gets built along with Bally's and Brightline West's Las Vegas station being built nearby.
I have never been to the Wynn but going in February for the brunch at La Cave. Staying at Durango.

My Favorite 5. The Venetian/Palazzo. The Cosmopolitan, Fountainbleu. The Wynn/Encore and Ceasars Palace
I also like the Venetian/Palazzo, the Wynn/Encore , especially the Encore however, the rooms at the Encore are needing a face lift. It’s the same Decor since I’ve been going after it was built.

Just back from there (12/20/24) and not sure we'll return. Lovely property--spacious and glitzy--but EXPENSIVE...$24 for a glass of wine?? Not many options for casual dining--much better food courts at other properties. We know it's supposed to be upscale and elegant, but miss being able to sit at a bar and play video poker/slots.
I believe everything was on point I agree for the most part but but I would love a video of some one doing about the different ratio rate of winning. Add the Pacific casinos
Thanks. I'm a nighthawk, midnight worker. If a pool isn't open when I'm up then I may as well save my money and stay in Cuba. The ocean is always free, if you pay.
All out of my price range but good looking places. Fontainebleau looks v nice too.
JW Marriott Las Vegas I stayed at with my son for a football camp. It was very nice with the golf course right across the street. Downtown I always stay at the Cabana Suites at El Cortez. On the strip it is Caesars but that's usually for business.

Last time we were in the Cosmopolitan it was like living in an ashtray. The cigarette smoke was outrageous.
Our last stay, it was FULL of families with young children. Couldn't enjoy the pool at all. I will never understand why parents would choose Vegas as a place to vacation with their kids.

I’ve lived in Vegas for 2 years but from Cali so always came to Vegas. I have never been to the WYNN but my fav hotel 😂. Just screams Luxury!! I will definitely be doing a Staycation there for my birthday . Yea my fav about Circa is NO CHILDREN!! Thanks for the video 💖
