Glad to see the brush you use to spread the glue I got the idea of that kind of brush yesterday for my glueing also I got two similar ideas last week. The box for gloves and shelf you made all on cleats great ideas thank you
I have that problem also clearing a space on the bench to use. Moving things back and forth to make room. French cleats are great for moving things around or change layout. Everything can be hung on the cleats just making suitable racks is what needs thought. I made a small french cleats and some small ones for putting on things so that I can learn by mistakes and will make full wall cleats when I am finally ready to adapt ideas. Good to see the mistakes and improvements in your ideas. Great idea to make breathing room to allow a couple Of millimetres extra to allow ease of inserting and removing contents
Nice video. I like that you included the 'mistakes', we all make them. Instead of making a second front plate I would have just made the hole larger. The next time you go buy a new box the dispenser may have the opening in the middle of the box. That might be the lazy way but it just needs to keep the box in place. Thanks for sharing.
Stopped with the box for the gloves. All you need is a small piece at the top and bottom to hold the box. You don't need a massive box to hold a light weight box. Lot of better ideas for this.
Hi. Instead of using a dowel i found a thin metal strip helps the pliers hang better. You could also use a thin rod af 6mm diameter or less. Hope this helps. The shelves look really useful by the way.
Who else saw the hole placement being off due to the overlap allowance! I felt so bad for him the second time as well! But, that’s how you learn, right? Looks nice in the end. I see a lot more modules in your future.
I'm looking for nice ideas for a french cleat wall. I like you're a lot. My one thought when you made the first box a tad small was, why not just take the gloves out of the cardboard box and put them in the nice new wood box.
I thought it was just me that makes measuring errors.! Great ideas and enjoyable. May I ask what part of Germany you are from? I had relatives from Pirmasens and visited there often. Also spent time in Hanau and Fulda.
There was no need to actually put a face on that box. Simply nail a 1 inch wide piece in front across the top and a one inch wide piece across the bottom front to hold the box in place from tipping forward. I'm not trying to be critical, but just efficient, and saving materials. Also in my humble opinion you could have used one screw in the middle with one nail on each end when screwing the cleat onto the back of the box. You do not need 3 screws across a 5 inch cleat to securely hold up a half pound of gloves. Glue and 3 brad nails would have worked just fine too instead of 3 screws on the back of that cleat. Again just recommending an efficient use of materials for intended purpose. Keep building as efficiency and quality improves over time.
It is a little jig specifically to make holes for dowels. But you could use it to drill straight to a surface either. Bought it on amazon: amzn.to/2uMSH4F
Well, its actually 12 mm, so less than 1/2 inch plywood. I would not make it any thinner. And it was what I had laying around, I didn‘t buy it to build the box.
Love the fact that you have the humility to show that even you make errors . Bravo!
Thanks for showing the mistakes. Each and everyone of those are mistakes I would have done or have done before. Your handled them far better than I.
Love that you left in your mistakes. I am building a glove holder so this is very helpful.

Nicely done! Think it's the first time i've seen someone show their mistakes. Like that!
Just finding your channel, love the fact you show errors in the process!! Keep it up!
Thank you!

Thanks for the advice!
Mount the glove dispenser to dispense downwards. It won't catch dust and debris. Also lets you store a second box on top of the open box.
I feel kind of dumb now. Good idea! I’ve seen glove dispensers allways oriented the way I build it, so I never even thought about it.
Very clever!!! Thank you.
You could also build whatever dimension box you want, unbox the gloves and stuff them in your (bottom dispensing) glove box.
The reason I’m subscribing to your channel is because you’re showing your mistakes. Thanks for the videos!
Thanks for your subscription!
I know the frustration of "oh you have got to be kidding me" measurements.
Great job 👍

Two 3-2-1 blocks! You da man!
Nice and practical.
Considering that the gloves are supplied/kept in a cardboard box why not just empty them straight into your wooden box? Just a thought
measure twice, cut once!
i feel so bad for you!
don't worry we all make those mistakes!!!
as long as you learned from them!
Measure poorly, redo 5 times. Brutal. Sorry but that was just brutal to watch that.
I thought it was just me that makes measuring errors.! Great ideas and enjoyable. May I ask what part of Germany you are from? I had relatives from Pirmasens and visited there often. Also spent time in Hanau and Fulda.
I live in the Rhein-Main area. Near Frankfurt and Mainz.

11:22 This is a Jackson T moment!
Box: I won't fit.
JT: Smashes box smaller to make it fit. 😆
@Miles Parker yea, have been watching on KaldroStream for months myself :D

What is that drill jig? I don't have a drill press and don't really have room for one. That would help me greatly. Thanks
It is a little jig specifically to make holes for dowels. But you could use it to drill straight to a surface either. Bought it on amazon: amzn.to/2uMSH4F
Did I miss the name of your drill template thingy? I can't seem to see it anywhere.
For the gloves, you could have just thrown the gloves from the original cardstock box into your wooden one. You didn't need the original box
Why would you make a box for nitrile gloves out of 3/4 inch plywood?
why not?
@@Loulexmakes A bit of overkill I'd say
Well, its actually 12 mm, so less than 1/2 inch plywood. I would not make it any thinner. And it was what I had laying around, I didn‘t buy it to build the box.
What is the name of the drill template you were using and where did you get it?
It is made by Wolfcraft, and I bought it on Amazon: amzn.to/2uMSH4F
I think it is called something like universal dowel jig.
What tool guide name u use in drilling is that?
Are you German? I think I heard you saying "scheiße" after the second attempt didn't fit!
Yeah, I’m from Gernany.
Finalmente mettiamo un paio di guanti 🤣🤣
I would have shoved the gloves in without the box.
Wieso so umständlich verstiften? Das macht man mit "Schifferl" - de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flachdübel

Haven't seen a skullet in a few decades.
tagliare un poco la scatola di carta dei guanti no?....😂
Got as far as the box not fitting and couldn't take your lack lustre planning any more, sorry.
I also only watch the perfect DIY videos....or something.
Secondo me il legno non è per te
