A shot from the sniper rifle deals 50 or so. Critting (including by headshots) triples that damage, and staying scoped also charges your damage up to (also) triple. So a quickscoped headshot will deal 150, which kills most anything lightweight, and a fully charged headshot deals 450 which would down even an overhealed heavy (300 max health, 450 overhealed) in a single click. Long as you click good, anything will die. Assuming you don't get murdered from behind or anything.
Engineer is my favorite class, but it requires a rather different mindset than others. It's much more about knowing the map and objective than how to 1v1 people (though battle engine is quite decent in a scrap). Their teleporter can totally swing a battle by bringing troops to the front faster, while the sentry can be a fortress that terrifies enemies. But it's management heavy and relies on map knowledge and awareness. If you're a bit more of a run and gun type, the mini sentry from the gunslinger might be more your speed. You still need your teleporter and dispenser up, but rather than have all your energy poured into the upgraded sentry gun and have it be the center of attention, you can use a cheap mini one to toss down anywhere, even mid fight, to hold a small area.
As an Engie Main, I completely agree. One of my favorite things about playing Engineer is how adaptable you NEED to be. Because once the enemy team knows where you are once, things get a lot harder. So knowing how to switch things up constantly while still staying on the objective is extremely important to me. It's why I love the insane range of unique weapons he has. It helps keep the enemy team on their toes, and makes sure they know you're not just some turtle Engie who's just going to keep building and repairing your sentry. You're actually going to observe and react to how they observe and react to your.

As long as you can consistently hit decently accurate shots with it you can keep going, but if you're like me and have the precision and reaction time of a drunk ice-skater, it won't do you too many favors.

22:25 You see, as a soldier main, one of my favorite things to do is to rocket jump up to wherever they are, shoot another rocket or two at them, swap to my panic attack when I land, and generally just fuck them up. This is especially effective on 2fort, where I can just jump up onto the battlements and unleash hell. It's like reverse trench raiding.

Gunslinger + Frontier Justice is my go-to for Battle Engineer. From what I remember, you also get crits once your sentry gets destroyed, and since a mini-sentry is highly replaceable, I'm dealing lots of damage with my mini-sentry, and then receiving free crits after my mini-sentry gets destroyed as I build another mini-sentry right after, while still dealing damage. Focus gets split between a dangerous mini-sentry, and an even more dangerous Engineer fully loaded with crits, which lends me advantage in dealing lots of damage. Gunslinger + Frontier Justice Battle Engineer is just a perpetual damage-dealing machine as long as he's still alive.
Basically, the Widowmaker does reload on hit, but it uses Metal as ammo, 30 metal per shot, and the amount it reloads depends on how much damage you do per shot, so you gotta be decently accurate or you'll run out of metal. So, with this gun, you either go unga bunga and shoot away to your heart's content, or you build your stuff and don't shoot at all, since you'll have no ammo to do so
I really don’t think, at least in my own opinion, that you should wait until the series is over to do the extras, it’s best to do then after their respective videos so that they are still fresh in your mind
the issue with sniper is that the only real hard counter class to sniper is himself spies can deal with snipers but if the sniper is appropriately guarded or in an area where he's easy to guard (such as in sight of a friendly sentry) the spy basically has to trade his life just for a chance to take the sniper down and at that point spy can pick easier targets that give his teammates a better chance of running the sniper down which is almost always a safer bet scout in theory can also deal with snipers but he has the largest headshot hitbox in the game and if he can't flank to get to the sniper, then he has to run into the sniper's sightline which is basically a death sentence that realistically leaves the soldier and the demoman, and while the soldier is an excellent frontline class with high damage, mobility and bulk, it's not usually that hard to see him coming so now we're down to the demoman who doesn't really have an easy time reaching the sniper but does have the advantage of being able to threaten the sniper from relative safety.
Sniper has many different rifles each with a different style to them Sydney sleeper: faster charge but headshots deal slightly less damage, the main draw that you can coat the enemies with Jarate making them weaker to your team. 4:58 Engineer. Oh boy. Where do I begin. Mans is NOT passive whatsoever if you don't want him to be. You can, as Lazypurple says, be "creative" with your building placements. Engineer is a rush and a half... 5:29 Engineer really can win some interactions though. In Casual mode, there are Random Crits, and Engineer has a pretty high melee crit rate. This means that your chances of coming out on top in a melee interaction are pretty high if you don't just get outplayed. 11:18 Uncle Dane is the internet's resident TF2 Engineer expert. Ace if you wanna play Skyrim I suggest you should play as a khajiit race because one of the most broken builds in the game is the unarmed build because the khajiit’s claws can out damage a dragon bone sword that has a base damage of 15 while the claws have a base damage of 22

Engie, like the Heavy, requires a good TEAM to do well. Once you got a team watching over Engie, you kinda become unstoppable unless they got an Uber. Engie, Heavy, and Medic put the team in Team Fortress 2 unlike most classes that you can just go solo, be selfish and do well.
Go play Voices of The Void. It will take time to get into the flow of it but it's a very fun game with a lot of callbacks to a very popular game called Signal Simulator. It's even written in the same engine as TF2, meaning you'll also see how a valve game plays.

@@KingdomAce The hat in question is known as Max's severed head. It was a promotional item for the game Sam and Max that was given to any players who bought the (at the time) newest sam and max game before a certain date.
Despite being worn on the scout here, it can be worn by all of the classes.
You should give Dr Lalve's All Guide Truffle Shuffle a try. its a compilation of their shorts "TF2 guide' to the classes in a wacky comedic way while giving good tips. They also have their own comedy ghost buster series with the mercinaries.

Engineer. Oh boy.
Where do I begin.
Mans is NOT passive whatsoever if you don't want him to be. You can, as Lazypurple says, be "creative" with your building placements.
Engineer is a rush and a half...
5:29
Engineer really can win some interactions though.
In Casual mode, there are Random Crits, and Engineer has a pretty high melee crit rate.
This means that your chances of coming out on top in a melee interaction are pretty high if you don't just get outplayed.

Uncle Dane is the internet's resident TF2 Engineer expert. Loves Battle engineer but also doing his job and supporting his teammates.
12:16
Engineer really can be for anyone.
I love the idea of "I can run around with a shotgun and practice my aim, but even if I'm dead my sentry can thrash the competition approximately 50% of the time"
Uncle Dane is the big engie main on TH-cam. If you're looking for tips on playing engineer, he has a lot of tutorials on the class and his weapons. He also has a video that is just a rant about random crits
HE ISNT A DEFENSLESS ENGI HE IS THE DEFENSE
Yes! I love both of these videos.
how it feels to play engineer used to have much better music with the protecting with his body part, until it got a copyright strike
Playing engineer is like playing an RTS game while everyone else is playing an FPS
Look closely and you'll see in the corpse sfm but he doesn't have the gunslinger
I love Engineers because their job is building stuff; I abso-effing-lutely love games that let me build stuff. But I hate the idea of "tower defense" games because I really hate to *re*build over & over again.
Maybe Engineer isn't the class for me to play, perhaps...
Ace if you wanna play Skyrim I suggest you should play as a khajiit race because one of the most broken builds in the game is the unarmed build because the khajiit’s claws can out damage a dragon bone sword that has a base damage of 15 while the claws have a base damage of 22
7:25 in this clip there was a better music track that has been copyright struck since and he had to replace it with some stock youtube music or take the video down and reupload which he didnt want to do
this one does the job but the original fit perfectly
It detected the copyright free music too, for some reason. TH-cam alerted me of it when I uploaded this anyways lol.
yeah youtube is stupid sometimes (almost always)
you should watch Uncle Dane's "How to Fight Every Class as Engineer and Win"
Very informative and it shows off Uncle Dane's Engineer Skills
Also Fun Fact about Uncle Dane, He is Nicknamed *THE* Engineer Main
Engie, like the Heavy, requires a good TEAM to do well. Once you got a team watching over Engie, you kinda become unstoppable unless they got an Uber. Engie, Heavy, and Medic put the team in Team Fortress 2 unlike most classes that you can just go solo, be selfish and do well.
Go play Voices of The Void. It will take time to get into the flow of it but it's a very fun game with a lot of callbacks to a very popular game called Signal Simulator. It's even written in the same engine as TF2, meaning you'll also see how a valve game plays.
Also, the rabbit ears are from a game called Sam and Max, not from Zelda, 13:20----13:26
They all him "Uncle Dane the Engi Main"
don't forget to watch all the extra's!
THE RABBIT HAT FROM ZELDA YOU KNOW WHAT ZELDA IS FROM LINK
"Rabbit ears from zelda" pain
I’m a pyro main. I definitely have muscle memory habits.
it would be awesome if you played the psycological horror game "In Sound Mind" wich has hella good bangers OST, you wouldnt expect a horror game to have that much quality in music, and also it has a really good story
Finally! I was looking forward to this!
Rabbit hat is from Sam and Max
I think you might like Bolted Behemoth and DEFECT_, both are older SFM's for TF2 and I think both are really good.
Bro please react to the extras for sniper, pyro demo and of course, how it feels to suffer in sfm
I love watching your videos dude.
And I love your comment, thanks for the support 🙏🏾❤️
"Rabbit ears from Zelda"
Boowomp...
The Engineer can either be standard or you are a goofy goober with the mini sentry annoyance
Play Voices of the Void, so long as you can commit to playing long.
I know this is a weird request but… you might enjoy this, please stay with me here, an indie horror MOBILE game. That’s right a mobile game, called Death Palette. For some reason this utter masterpiece is a free mobile game, an actual diamond in the rough for mobile games that deserves to be seen more. It’s a VN/puzzle game with horror elements with an utterly brilliant atmosphere.
13:24 That ain`t Zelda ears
sniper is the biggest enemy of sniper
I recommend watching Zeyo, he plays tf2 and makes videos of funny moments
Sadly that sniping style doesn't work very well in paladins. There's so much mobility going around. Darn ice witches that can fly on their brooms (that are also missile launchers) and teleport or fucking flying dragons or monstrosities from another dimension that have 4 times your hp can eat you and dash thru the map in beyblade form
"He's got the ears from Zelda"
........... I don't know why, but the degree of wrong you are pisses me off, but I'm going to be a level headed person and just sat that is wrong... I see where you're coming from but no. That is an item exclusive to Poker Night at The Inventory called "Max's Severed head", Max being an anthropomorphic Rabbit from the point and click series and comics that spawned it. "Sam and Max", some of the games even still being available to this day!"
Engineer, Engifar, Engiwhereveryouare
Engiatyourhouse
Yup the widowmaker rewards you withe free metal if ay timed your shots right but for me swinging my wrench is more funnier
again i suggest playing Cry of Fear, very scary but made by a small team
Hey since you wanna do more gameplay vids, you should play It Steals. You'll love it
Yes I love engineer
