All you need to know is that in this game they spy always has a lethal advantage in melee range. If you enter that melee range by your own strategy you have only yourself to blame if you get trick stabbed.
I would like to sit down every TF2 player that ever got trick stabbed and ask them, 'When you got trick stabbed, were you moving towards the spy? And yes that includes strafing.' 90% of the time I got trick stabbed, you know what I was doing? I was pressing W. Just make a mental note of it. Right after you get trick stabbed, ask yourself were you pressing W? If you know you are looking at a spy, DON'T PRESS W. Put the spy in your crosshair and press A, S or D, but not W. Then just shoot the spy. Only you can prevent trick stabs.
Playing agro trick stab seeking like that was never the less deviated way playing, for most it's not worth leaning give how few lobbies played out like this

It would've been 125-47=78 more damage in any other case other than kunai, knowing positioning play field wise spy don't receive overheal. Only because of kunai, for a teammate medic falls to spy suddenly burst out amount of health that 219-47=172 more damage following up still barely enough. This is frustration and why streamer can act dramatically. Said scout player here wasn't even aimless or rushed in melee challenge spy, steady still for better hit wouldn't be as punishing against any other non kunai situation.
on a lot of these the spy was in front of the guy on his screen so yeah it certainly doesn't feel good no need to act like you're buddha reincarnated and never got pissed in a video game because something felt like bs especially when people make "compilations" of it to fuel their ego (they should fuel their showers first)
