So the golden thing, that scout took from spy at the end is one of invis watches named dead ringer, it makes you look like you die to enemy players when you get hit, but in reality you escape invisible and have pretty good damage reduction and fire resistance while in that stage. Unlike normal invis watches, you can't get invisible whenever you wish, it only activates if you hold it in your hand and someone hits you, while you're holding it, also you can't make invisibility longer by grabbing ammo packs and the invisibility lasts half the time, that the invisibility on stock watches lasts. It used to be super broken, but now it's balanced, but worse than stock and arguably weakest invis watch.
9:10 heavy has an infinite rev time, you can hold right click for as long as you want. 11:24 spy has a weapon called "The Dead Ringer" or DR for short, its a watch where if you hold it out you can fake your own death, and it gives a speed boost and makes you invisible.

Crash Maul's uploads take a while, but they are worth it every single time and the quality of the animations and the work that goes into every single little thing in them just improves with every one. When it comes to animations, respawn is kind of a weird concept. Some use it and some don't; in a good few of them, what dies stays dead. Another of my personal favorites among animations is "Once Upon a Time in 2Fort", a 2-parter by K.R. And then while not an animation, an underappreciated gem I like to go to now and again is "TF2 - Mass AI" by EvilDaedalus, where they basically use the game console to do a bunch of absolutely ridiculous things. It's an oldie, but a goodie.
When this SFM came out the Deadringer was a lot more powerful. You could survive _several_ backstabs. Spies were unbearably annoying to fight against because of this thing. Thankfully it was nerfed and the Deadringer is in a much more fair state.

Fun fact! There used to be an Arena mode in TF2 where you couldn't respawn until the next round, and this map is set in this gamemode

It was possible to survive a backstab before the first nerf.

"Respawn already bro" that map is actually tied to a specific Gamemode called Arena. Arena does not allow for respawning
The thing about this reality of TF2; there are NO respawns. You die, you die. That’s it.
