From now on, I(Wang Zhi'an) am gonna be an upright Chinese overseas.
My declaration for leaving my country: first, I won't be blinded by hatred. I won't be a carrier of the emotion that "oppose whatever China did". Second, I won't accept funding from any government, whether it is the Chinese government, the United States government, or the Japanese government. I will settle down and get on with my pursuit on my own. Third, I won't join any religious organization or receive financial support from any religious organization. Fourth, I won't engage in any political activities. I will keep the value of neutrality as a professional journalist.
"Warm the world with cold rationality," which I used to insist on in China, will become the value goal of all my TH-cam programs. I will express my view of the world in a gentle, rational and moderate way. I will not change my faith for my situation. My faith is my own, not used against the outside world.
