As a Tigers fan, that Flaherty trade ended up alright since Trey Sweeney replacing Javier Baez really boosted the team. Too bad Flaherty is doing so bad with the Dodgers.
Paul Blackburn was like the best pitcher in baseball his first 3 starts, they got some good bullpen help, Jesse winker has been one of the most underrated hitters in baseball this year. For a team that wasn't expecting to be contending for a wild card spot I would say that's a pretty good deadline.
As a Red Sox fan, I'm ok with our deadline. Considering what Baltimore forked over for Eflin and especially Rogers, getting any of the big names was gonna be tough. We filled some needs without gutting the top of our farm.
Yeah Soler brings a great bat to a lineup that has been bad for the most part and has control but I don’t think betting on a Whitt Merrifield Phillies revenge tour until Ozzie Albies comes back from injury. Regardless of what the Braves did, the lineup has to hit better especially Olson, Ozzie, Harris and Arcia.
I'd give the Braves a C+ too. I feel like they were treating the third salary tax threshold as a soft salary cap, which limited their willingness to take on money. Plus it seems like AA regime is highly reluctant to trade most of the higher-end prospects.
No the Tigers didn’t have a very good trade deadline, but at least they didn’t trade Tarik Skubal. They still have control over him for a couple years, and he’s a player they should build around, instead of sell for Pennie’s on the dollar like they did with Justin Verlander in 2017
Be honest do you honestly believe that Harris/Greenberg will sign Skubal to a long term contract extension especially given that he’s a Scott Boris client? I honestly believe that if Skubal desires to stay Boris will do his best to make it happen. With that said if they can’t he’ll be dealt right before pitchers and catchers report in February.
@@VoxVeritas1776Yes, as it stands it looks like Skubal will win the Triple Crown. I believe they will pay him. He got his elbow injury behind him in college. Everyone keeps predicting an injury for him but I don’t see it. He takes care of himself.

Since we’re basically playing with house money at this point, I like that we didn’t sell the farm to push for the World Series this year when we have several top prospects less than a year away
You have to think about the rangers. Cody Bradford, Dane Dunning, and Josh Jung came back recently. And then, we have Degrom, Mahle, (and hopefully Evan Carter in the postseason, prolly not though.) Now, we could have one of the best if not the best bullpens in baseball. Josh Sborz, Cody Bradford, Andrew Chafin, David Robertson, Jose Leclerc, Jacob Latz, Jonathan Hernandez,Kirby Yates, and either Dane Dunning and Jon Gray or Andrew Heaney whenever the rest of the rotation gets healthy. We also have some young guys in there too along with some veterans in the minor leagues like Diego Castillo and Adrian Sampson, who could also be an extra starter if there are more injuries. Our starting rotation will consist of Degrom, Eovaldi, Scherzer, Mahle, Jon Gray or Andrew Heaney. This offense is the same as last year pretty much except Evan Carter is out. They can still win the chip if they turn things around here soon. Especially with this terrible division we are in. All of this is said to show that they didn’t have to do much in the trade deadline. We only had 1 lefty reliever in our entire bullpen and now we have Chafin plus Pennington who should be in the majors in a couple weeks after playing in triple A Round Rock. Now we have a catcher that can actually hit to back up Jonah Heim who is having a not so great year at the plate. In a little while, it could be 50-50 on who catches every day. Hopefully everything turns around for the Rangers with all of these returning players and these few acquisitions at the trade deadline.
Their deadline was better than the padres the padres give elite prospects for only three relievers that is a overrated price the dodgers only gave a top 8 prospect and miggy vargas and they receive a good Starter pitcher a good reliever and good infielder and outfielder.
I like the Nats deadline, but we maybe went a bit heavy on the third basemen especially with House in our system. However, none of the guys we gave up had any long-term future here, and given how many 3B guys we got we should be set on the infield long-term. I think we're in good shape to compete over the next few years; we saw flashes of potentially competing this year, we were in a playoff spot in June, and most of the team will stay for another couple years minimum.

We don’t really have any good lefties in the BP and despite the season he is currently adding,Chafin adds a legit lefty to the pen. Pennington for Lorenzen seems light considering some other similar moves that were made around the league but at the same time it’s not a bad return either. Can someone tell me what I’m missing about the Yankees’ deadline? Thought it was a B at best, but closer to a C. Not trolling, just wanting another perspective.
The bottom half of their batting order is still questionable, and their rotation has declined since the beginning of the year. Thought they could’ve upgraded there. Especially if Cole won’t get back to 100%.
You gotta include their deductions on the other side, that’s the real reason dbacks get a C+, giving up deyvision. Orioles could get a drop from that too just from the rogers deal
Trey Sweeney will be a household name
De Los Santos is not an underrated reliever. He has been absolutely terrible for the padres this season. He makes you start believing in him with 4-5 good outings in blowouts and the second he’s put into a close game he makes it not close. As a padre fan I was more happy about getting him off our roster than I was about our pickups
Benn a fan since 2019
Giving cardinals a b is crazy they deserve a c
Classic marc hating whatever the giants do *sigh*
(Although I actually agree holy shit farhan needs to be fired)
I don’t understand clearing out your farm for relievers
After acquiring Frankie Montana, Nick Mears, and Aaron Civale, the Brewers will be thirsty for their 1st world championship in franchise history.
Jose Tena is a Major League Baseball player
Literally the first batter stanek faced it was a homer!!
D for the Tigers is crazy bro…
You should play immaculate draft
As Josh bell just hit 2 hrs with the dbacks💀 stfu mark
He is the biggest guardians hater I know
Brewers F- - - I literally could throw up from the rage I felt when they did nothing and the cards and pirates got better smh
Gotta love when the twins have to throw David Festa or Randy Dobnak out there every 5 days because the ownership is too cheap to trade for a pitcher
Same with my brew crew taped together rotation
You left out the best Yankees pitcher Bret Phillips
Ever wonder why Miami let Chisholm go for so cheap? Almost as if they wanted to make sure he was gone.
Yankees reportedly said that he had character issues to lower the amount they give up for him.
I think your editor may want to go back and edit his edits lol
and this is why the New York Mets won the trade deadline
Why u hating on the Indians so much bro? They are literally the best team in ball, but u don’t like the roster… ik as a Mets fan ur pissed Lindor wanted to come back but cmon man lol
Cmon man Brewers B-, Cubs C+.
The Pirates made moves that improved their roster and they get same as Brewers??
What are these colors of letters in thumbnail ?
