Took my then 7yr old son to see them live in 2019 in seattle and met Mr AK. Andrew greeted us with hugs and played a banger of a show. Afterwards my son got a picture with Andrew. That was one of the highlights he couldn't stop talking about. If you haven't see them live I highly recommend it you won't be disappointed.

I wish the tone was mega crunchy for every note like Jared's tone (Archspire) but gash danngggggg this is great fricking playing and sooooooooo nice to see played so wonderfully
Nice to see he has an appreciation for some slam. Vulvodynia is pretty good, it may not be techy. But every now and then a man needs his brutal slam damn it. Killer playthrough though, as with all of the content that the Artisan Era puts out. I can still recall the very first day I heard of Inferi. It blew me away, I was in prison believe it or not. I was fortunate to be in a unit that was near Austin, Tx. Every Tue afternoon was black metal from 2-4pm on public radio and every Saturday night from midnight-2am was Extreme metal played on their mainstream rock station. I listened to both religiously every week. The night I heard Inferi it was the Behold the Bearer of Light. It was crazy because I could of swore that I heard Trevor from TBDM. Sure enough he was on guest vox and they've been one of my favorite modern melodic death metal bands for yrs. As soon as I was released I made sure to check out this band Inferi. I made a habit of writing down every band name that sounded killer to me. I was in there for a drug possession charge fyi. Don't want ppl thinking I'm some kind of pos harming ppl. Albeit I was a pos towards myself and I paid. But I'm finally off of parole in June and I've been fairly drugfree. Can leave the devil's lettuce alone. Fortunately due to covid they haven't been piss testing us. I was sure to get a job of course before I started to toke my life away. No more hard stuff though. I've finally gotten my life back together. Plus prison is a real motivator to get my shit together as well. It fucking sucks, especially for a misanthrope like me. It's not place for a man with great taste in music and is a free thinker. It's full of wanna be rappers, hypocritical jailhouse religtards, morons, and socialpaths. It's sucks ass and being deprived of everything you realize the simple things that you take for granted in everyday life. So I was Extremely happy when I finally landed at a unit that had radio's. Other than attending the dumbass groups I had to go to, working out and going to chow. I was pretty much glued to my cell listening to my radio non stop. It pissed my cellie off because he thought he was some kind of mack. The guy had a mental illness and tried to convince me that the CO gave him a hand job at night during count time. I'm like sure, whatever dude I don't give a fuck. And why do you have your dick out other than having to use the bathroom with another grown man around anyways? But do you, this is also the same man I walked into the cell that had managed to smuggle in powder bleach. He had turned the toilet into a mop bucket and was going to town mopping the floor with his towels. Atleast he was clean I give him that and fuck did I mention prison sucked. But Behold the little light that Inferi brought upon me that night. It was the highlight of my week for the few weeks that they played that song. Once I hit the halfway house whenever I got out. I immediately downloaded spotify and listened to the whole album. Man I was so blown away. Next to getting laid all of the time, music was the biggest thing that I missed while I was incarcerated.

That all depends on the mix. I think the bass is pretty audible in the mix for our songs but If you're looking for other bands with a healthy amount of bass check out bands like Gorod, Beyond Creation, Equipoise, Archspire, Obscura, Entheos, and Wormhole.
