I've been in fight lobbies spectating matches where a person ragequits during it, and it does the exact same thing. It can kick other people out of the lobby as well as the current players in a match due to communication errors.
Types of Ragequits:
Game Ragequit
Pause Ragequit
Online Ragequit (Home to Close Game)
Misc. (controller disconnects vary)
home to close are the worst. literally turn off the whole damn game
The melee match exits are the most salty tbh. The exits always are slow and take a while to load
Misc: The SD ragequit
Or can just turn off switch to online rage quit

The classic Sonic games are near and dear to my heart, but man is Sonic lame in Smash bros. Just encountering Sonic players on quickplay often means me SD'ing three times immediately 'cause I just don't want to play against Sonic. Winning or losing it's just not fun.

@@ChickenNEO well yeah DK is a big slow target and Sonic is small and fast so Sonic still has the advantage whether you spam spindash or not. Still, it's nice to know that there are Sonic players who actually put some amount of effort into playing the game
