Hey Ryan, when you put on a Big Bear front mount, do you put on a new rear OEM style mount, or one of the Big Bear rear mounts.? (Asking for a friend)...
When the bike is done, we will do a full walk around in Vail. As far as Jake’s her front ends, girl, you gotta have a live in build all that stuff yourself there is no real set up for it. I measure them in separate each time, the forks very so much from year to year.
@@kruesioriginals gottcha, i was figuring lathe cut wheels spacers etc...What about axle to wheel bearing fitment, quick googling says 25mm axle, so just a simple bearing swap. Then last question is rotors, I know you had a set custom cut, is there a more affordable route there?
what motor mount should I go with the big bear or drag oem style I don't stunt just ride twisty mountains and freeway and 2 up riding here and there and what about the rear mount any recommendations thanks just my first harley 2009 super glide

I had an 04’ FXD with 20k on it and decided to replace the front motor mount. Brought the bike to a local bike shop. Bike was disgusting with a bad wobble after he replaced them. Unrideable. Mechanic said “Man when I unbolted the motor mount the whole engine shifted. No shit. I brought the bike to another mechanic, claimed he fixed the wobble. Never even did the job he said he’d do, bike was the exact same. I just sold it and got a last model Streetbob. I’m extremely leery of mechanics working on motor mounts on Dyna’s now. tbh i don’t know if Ill ever touch my motor mounts and IF I have to I”m sending it to Kruesi because your average mechanics are bound to screw those bikes up and things won’t be lined up right. Just my 2 cents from a hard lesson learned.

Its not a full fix. For sure improves the issue but its like throwing a band-aid over the problem.

I replaced my 2002 Dyna with a front predator mount, and OEM in the back. Thoughts? It rides pretty good!

I don’t do wheelies but love going fast on corners do you recommend I get front and back mounts from big bear or either one is good enough.
Just the front run an oem rear. The big bear makes way to much vibration. Bike will corner like a sport bike

You just have to get shorter hardware bolts right up you don’t need to do anything else.

Chopper Hauss has motor mounts in stock and is a nicer product compared to big bear.
Exact same product, exact same product made by same people. If they’re in stock, go get them.
