Minute History: Crescent Hotel

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History presents "Minute History," a series of video shorts highlighting historic sites in and around Northwest Arkansas, one minute at a time.
Opened in 1886, the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was built to provide lodging for health-seekers taking the town's famed healing waters. Over the years it has served as a girls' college and a cancer "hospital." It continues to welcome guests today.
