Minute History: Beaver Lake

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History presents "Minute History," a series of video shorts highlighting historic sites in and around Northwest Arkansas, one minute at a time.
In the early 1960s the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers built a dam on the White River near Beaver, Arkansas, creating a giant reservoir. Northwest Arkansas' business, industry and tourism sectors have benefitted greatly.
