Nice to see your attention to detail, and the meticulous approach to accuracy, and the methodical workflow and machining processes. With something that complex, one “oops”, and it’s start all over again! I appreciate the masterclass lesson. Wonderful craftsmanship, and years of experience, it shows. Thanks!
I remember how it was when I was doing machine work. I was always moving tooling and parts from one place to another. Yep, got to get your s**t together, been there, done that. All the best to ya'
Ha ha, get your s**t together , so like what happens in my shop also Enjoyed the video and glade to see pearl getting some attention! Keep them coming!
Is it better to use a dead center for turning between centers or a live center that spins with the part? I would think the dead center might gall a little but a live center may have play in the bearings, so it made me curious.
For the amount that would matter on this project the live center is more than a okay! The vaiable would be 100% on t6he quality of the live center, the solid center has no err.
Musical machines! The life of a one man shop always multitasking. 🙂

Well done Keith. Is that young man that helped with Buffy coming back?
No, he found another path to seek.
With the intended new higher rpm's all is critical I would guess? Is a flame paint job or, wrap being planned?
