Thank you Nathan for doing this video. Content like this is the reason I keep returning to your channel. Beautiful photo + lighting. You've done a terrific job educating viewers on how you got this shot.
This kind of video draws me to your channel. I appreciate the quality with which you create all these tutorials or more precisely the examples of what you can do with a certain type of artificial light. Thanks for the lesson. 🖤
Great video! You do a great job showing this process all the way through and I always pick something up! Sorry to tell you, I like the red dot lol. It does help follow what you are doing.
I like the red blob on the cursor, does help a lot to see where you are working. Was it just me, or did you miss a mark on her lower lip ;) Another great video, never thought about using a softbox as a background, great method.
It’s always cool to see you work an image Nathan 😊👌🏾. I definitely like the red follow along dot. I was wondering, in your workflow, when you’re done with a fully edited image, typically how much time has elapsed…on average? I understand some will take longer. Thanks again man 😎👊🏾
Thanks buddy. It varies, but I would say on an image like this, maybe 15-20 minutes an image depending on the skin. On my other work that I keep more RAW, it's more 5-10 min an image.
Awesome video. I really like that you did a beauty type shot/video with this video. I like to ask, and request if you can please do another beauty type video using a beauty dish. I’m not sure if you use a beauty dish on a consistent basis in your photography work, but It would be interesting to see you use a beauty dish, how you would use a beauty dish, and how you would edit the Final image. That would be cool to see. That being said. Love your videos, and please keep them coming.
Amazing video Nathan! Really glade you brought the Editing Part back in it. I learned so much from your How i got the Shot Series! Thanks for that. For the red circle around your cursor, in my opinion you can turn it off. Keep up the great work!
The red dot was great for me, it allowed me to spend more time looking at what was changing and less time trying to find what was changing - if that makes any sense…
nice work, but I would work on her lips more as it creates an imperfect feel about the whole image... lipstick was not not properly countered... but once again great job!

Thanks Trevor! Glad you are enjoying the tutorials.

Happy to hear that!
Great info. I prefer the red cursor dot - sure makes it easier to follow along. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome!
Hi Nathan. I do think the red curser is easier to follow your movements. As usual, I love your videos. Cheers!
love your video breakdown bro. 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
That lamp behind you is dope!
Thanks dude. It's actually a floor lamp that I mounted to the wall.
@@NathanElson Hahaha awesome!

Sounds good Tom! I guess the red dot stays ;)

Thanks Andy! Like I said, speed edit, may have missed a couple of things ;)

Thanks Albert! I don't use a beauty dish very often in my work, but if the opportunity presents itself, it'll be on here :)

Thanks Martin! And thank you kindly for the cursor feedback :)
@@NathanElson Your welcome Nathan! by the way haha - weird question :D with what do you style your hairs like this? :D
Hairdryer + hairspray ;)
I like the red dot.
Amazing tutorial and work. I like this style of tutorials from the beginning until the end product. Keep the red dot please:)
Thanks Sebastian! And it sounds like the red dot is a plus for most people so I'll be keeping it :)
