Damn that's one nice recreation of dorney. I heard in the video you like rollercoasters a lot, so I would highly recommend checking out coaster studios. He makes videos on reviews of coasters, talks about new coasters being built, coaster companies, and has some pov footage of some of the rides.
Spinkicker I would recommend the park worldwide for all theme park news and then theme park Callum and Power tower productions for mainly UK news

Hydra is my fav ride of all time! i also love possessed but it wasn't in this recreation cause u can put coasters on a loop

The area that looked like a cinema was actually a theatre. Last season, they had a bike show, this season coming is a circus. Also, the mansion hotel thing is actually a haunted mansion for halloween, but this map made it look like a pavilion. Great video btw!
Some of the houses are catering pavilions during the summer.

Thunder hawk is a ACE landmark coaster. The oldest PTC coaster operating.

I love this park
I remember the first time I went on the Talon I noticed the words below you as you get pulled up to the drop. I found it very amusing before it started to scare me as that was like the 4th roller coaster I had ever been on. Was in the very front too
Really good recreation but I think the park would be better if he added some more shops were the open windows are and detail the inside of the buildings a little bit more

Stupid fun fact, the pre-lift hill inversion on Hydra is called a JoJo Roll.
The smaller log flume is probably a "splash boat" in real life, which is missing from the game

I live 30 minutes away from here, and my mother's job, Deka Batteries has a company picnic there. this is pretty damn close to perfect! Only needs arcades, a big restaurant and carnival games
Check out workshop Wednesday on my channel from last week. Xtraordinair does a whole arcade and carnival series. It would truly complete this park having those in there! :D

haha so funny: "hate the wild mouse, to high up" and yet your favorite is the hanging coaster, and they're pretty high up and with your legs loose. haha! I mean, the feeling of beeing high up must be worse in a hanging coaster. :P
and i think there is a wild mouse but with no mouse cars, I think its called "crazy one, loony turns"
I guess I explained it wrong. Your high up in a bucket with no restraints, just a little bar, and the bucket tips side to side so you feel like you're going to fling out into your death. Hanging coasters your snuggled in with a nice hug!

As someone who rode Steel Force yesterday, this is insanely accurate
This is a near perfect recreation of Dorney Park. I've been plenty of times. Some of those empty areas are for carnival type games which I've never seen available in a Frontier game. I think Frontier's roller coaster games tend to lean more towards a Disney or Universal Studios experience. If Frontier releases a Planet Coaster Soaked (or RTC3 Soaked equivalent) expansion it would be nice to see this updated with Wildwater Kingdom. The Rapids and Log Flume are both part of the main park. No elements of the Wildwater Kingdom are included but Dorney Park has a single logo including Wildwater Kingdom since they don't charge separate entry for the water park.

This park has the Screaming Swing and Hang Time in it. Those rides were removed, and new this year in their place are a new troika ride and bumper cars. Planet Coaster now has bumper cars and a troika. And the April update will have a classic ferris wheel that looks nearly identical to Dorney's. I figured out a way to do Demon Drop using a coaster with vertical lift and drop. for the Whip, maybe a wild mouse coaster in an oval loop with a building built over it? Zephyr train, I don't know, maybe the monorail, or I could make a fake scenery item of it using the art shapes. April update will have inverted boomerang, so maybe Stinger will be possible.

The yellow one is supposed to do straight backwards vertically and twist forwards virtically
The what you called a corkscrew is actually a heartline roll, which is where the track rotates around the heart of a person. A Corkscrew is something else on the ride. It's ok that you missed the term, I, being a coaster enthusiast, even sometimes forget the difference between a barrel roll, where the track rotates around itself, and a heartline roll.
I had to google it to get a better understanding. I get it now, i think. Coaster sorta stays in the same spot, yet is spiraling inward. Essentially keeping peoples heads in the same centered area while their bodies are being flipped. Interesting, thanks.
There are Peanuts references because the whole middle of the park is called Planet Snoopy. It’s the kiddie ride section essentially. Also, the river rapids and log flume rides are not park of WWK.
Nailed it...all the way down to the mile long walk to the entrance from the back lot :p

This was pretty spot on. Dorney is my home amusement park we visit often. Was really neat to visually see it in this game. The coaster layouts were spot on too.
It's missing Stinger - not that it reliably runs anyway. Widlwater kingdom is also to the right of Talon. Since the park was created all the way to the right, if they ever launched a water park expansion, it would be a shame to not be able to add it onto this park.
Riding Talon on here felt as though I was riding it in real life. Was SPOT ON!

This is relatively flat compared to the park. This was done really well though. The empty buildings by the Talon rollercoaster are arcades and games. The water rides featured are still a part of the dry park. Wild water kingdom is straight water slides and pools.
Cool it's near where I live🐬🍄 But it 's too flat it goes downhill a bit. Awesome park!

When submitting a theme park to be featured on Park Spotlight, does everything have to be custom made in order for it to be featured?
Nope, all creations are considered! The more impressive the better, but you can use peoples blueprints to help your vision come true, no problem with that. Just don't use other peoples blueprints to make place-able coaster blueprints. Make those yourself, cause you only have 2000 pieces to work with. :) Also, be sure to read the submission rules down in the description of this video. Thank you! :D

Stinger is the missing coaster. It's a inverted boomerang coaster and the coaster that wouldnt open is due to the wrong coaster type is called Possessed, and Intamin inverted Impulse coaster so yea it needs a launch and holding brake.

FUN FACT: Snoopy is a character of the PEANUTS cartoons and the mascot of Dorny. the Peanut cartoon characters like Charlie Brown also wander around the part. So that's why they had that peanuts sign.

The pond in real life is a bit different. It is pretty much the main station water.
The first log flume you rode is actually a big boat one and the top turn actually has a wooden building at the top so the view of the park isn't really there.
love this park! the company I work for. buys out the entire park for the day..employees only. such a fun place!

I believe that first log flume is supposed to represent a "shoot the chutes" or "splashdown" type ride which is currently not available in PC. Hopefully they will add that type of ride in the future to enable more realistic park recreations.
I hope so. Kinda expecting Frontier will add a waterpark expansion. Fingers crossed! :D

Steel Force is an Arrow hyper coaster. Pre-1999 to the modern day twister style hypers like Magic Mountain's Goliath.
I would love to see a Kings Island recreation on this game, though I hope if one does come out it has the new Mystic Timbers in it which is supposed to open this spring.

Kings Island is pretty straight forward, minus Mystic Timbers as KI has a structure that they have the coaster going through but won't say what is inside it, so it's all speculation.

I enjoy coasters for what they are, minus rides like the Beast and Banshee who hold records with their names. But for something like Mystic Timbers, I would enjoy for what it feels and gives off in scenery. Whether steel or wood, I can and will enjoy them all.

I live near Dorney Park and have been there 1000 times. I have been going there since the park was family owned, it was sold to Cedar Fair 1992. Two former owners Bob Ott and Harris Weinstein passed away Feb 2007 and Oct 2014. The park had a different look 1992 and earlier, there were older rides that were removed and of course Steel Force and newer coasters didn't exist yet. The Thunderhawk wood coaster has been there since 1924. Whip 1920. Zephyr train which is supposed to be a diesel streamline train 1935. Only ride in PC that could be used to represent it would be the monorail and make the train four cars. I made the park in RCT3 but didn't finish it. Most of the rides on the DP side are in. I started a PC version but only did the lower end with Steel Force, Thunderhawk, Zephyr, Demon Drop (using a coaster with vertical lift and drop) then this park came out. There are a few minor inaccuracies in this park but it pretty much looks like DP. Thunder Creek's lift and drop should be longer. Bumper cars are going where Hang Time was this year.

Also there is no hold at the top of the hill on Steel Force in the actual park. That's just a planet coaster hang up. Other than that though these are fairly accurate recreations.

The rocks on steel force are supposed to be tunnels made of plastic.
Steel force isn't really suppose to hold the coaster at the top ;B but nothing all perfect this park is still good.

This version is NOT original work! You can clearly see the version uploaded in the Workshop by user MattyPark on Jan 5 came out over a week before this, and it's nearly identical... I understand the Workshop doesn't require users to give credit to others (I myself used some workshop pieces), but just wanted to be clear, the version found here, is the original author: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=835679087&searchtext=dorney
Your name is also MattyPark, are you claiming you are the original creator of this then? I opened up the one you linked and sure enough they are the same. Both creators don't really seem to have anything in their workshop other than this, not much activity from either of them. So I really don't know if even worth investigating further, as both creators seem to be inactive.
Correct - don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining, but it would be nice if the Workshop somehow recognized this for all the other creators out there. Any user can download, "save as" another file, and re-upload it as their own. My recommendation would be to check the workshop to ensure the original author. I hope Frontier finds a way to "tag" workshop items used when uploading...even I used Workshop items in my version: the Snoopy statue, tables/chairs, and vending machines are all on the workshop and deserving of credit in the overall recreation as well.
Nonetheless, happy others enjoyed all the work and time put into it. I loved the commentary and your video! Now I know where to submit my next recreation to, when ready :)
Yeah I agree with you, it's a bit un-fortunate. It's also the reason i'm afraid to upload my yeti land scenario before i finish the park half of it. As someone may do the park upload it and call it theirs, but the scenario is 80% of the work so far.
It would be great to have a locking feature so that blueprints cannot be re-uploaded even if modified. And downloaded parks themselves should not be able to be re-saved what so ever.

I'm making changes to this to reflect recent additions, and added haunt buildings. I changed the Ferris wheel to the correct one, the new Chance wheel in the spring update. And the Revolution in the summer update. Deleted Screaming Swing, Hang Time and replaced them with bumper cars and troika. Replaced the non working Possessed with the correct one, the new impulse coaster. Added Stinger and Cedar Creek Flyers (used a balloon ride). MattyPark, do you mind if I eventually release my modified version of your park?

I cant really tell wich real spinning coaster the spinning coaster in PC is supposed to represent. The real Wild Mouse is a Mack coaster and as far as i am aware there are no Mack coasters in PC yet - thats something that i am waiting for! Especially the Mack launchcoaster. Until something like it will be in the game I will have to use the intamin version "torque" instead -.-
It's a Maurer AG (formerly known as Maurer Söhne GmbH & Co. KG) spinning coaster. They are starting to become quite popular. Check the Wikipedia page, it's an S-Coaster under their firm.
Dukhanstmichmal he means that the wild mouse in real life is a mack one, which is not true since it's a maurer wild mouse.
wish he would of added the signs to talons lift hill gives it more character and is pretty funny. steel force is a phenomenal coaster also love hydra

I love Hydra. It will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first official roller coaster I ever went on! It is the reason I love roller coasters so much now!
Cedar Fair owns licensing rights to the Peanuts Characters which is why there are references to Snoopy and Charlie Brown around the park

steel force is the 2nd tallest roller coaster in Pennsylvania skyrush in hershey park is the tallest at 212 ft

btw, on wild mouse irl, the turns on at the top jerk you left and right at each corner and it is painful. Worse than Talon.
