We lived in a 2 room apartment. My in-laws, with their 6 kids, came to vist. We told them they could stay at our apartment one night. I worked nights. When i came home that morning, expecting them to be packed up and ready to go, i found that they had brought all their stuff in and had unpacked everything. I was told that my bil and his wife had to sleep in our bed because their backs were bad. Turns out they had been kicked out of their place and were planning on living with my husband and i. We told them they had to leave because our contract said we cant have anybody, who isnt on the lease, living with us. They got angry and started giving us the whole family have to look out for each other BS. After about 15 minutes of this i started picking up their stuff and chucking it out the door. I was told i was the B of the family. Three years later they tried to do it again when they found out we had bought a house. I wouldnt even let them bring their stuff in. Im still the B of the family and i dont care.

Story 7: This recently happened to me about a week ago defending my cat against my younger brother. I’m the oldest child, oldest and only girl mind you. It’s a very long story which I was writing out, and as I was finished typing it, my phone died so I lost everything. Lovely…lol
In short, the fight was *very violent* . I have a lightly bruised lung, internal and external bruising, soft tissue damage on my left chest, left ribs/ obliques, left armpit, left shoulder blade and random parts on the left side of my back since my left side took the most damage during the fall that initially started the fight and then the fight itself. Not much to do though besides ice it regularly, try not to strain it, no lifting, and gave me some pills along side NSAIDS (basically ibuprofen) Totally worth it and I’ll do it again. Especially since my brother will now have very visible scars that’ll last him all his life and even in death until his body decomposes, and everrrryyooone knows how and why he got him.
And guess who’s doing all my house work since I can’t pre doctor’s orders? YUP LMAO.

Some years ago, we had a "friend" of my dad's stop in to take care of our cats while we were away for about two weeks. They were all indoor, and all she had to do was refill food and water and make sure they had clean litter. When we got back, they had NO food, NO water, and their litter clearly hadn't been changed since we left. My dad was furious and called her up to find out what the hell had happened. Apparently, she'd LOST THE KEYS that she needed to get in only a few days after we were gone, and instead of calling us or even asking one of the neighbors for help, decided that gave her a free pass to just not do anything for the remainder of our trip.
THANK GOD the cats were all okay, just hungry and thirsty, because I don't want to think about what he, my sister, or I would have done with her if anything happened to them. Frick you, Juanita.

My mom had some friends over and their child (like 12 years old) slapped me (17 at the time) FULL FORCE for NO REASON (I wasn't even having a conversation with him, I was talking to my sibling) and then claimed that he didn't do anything.
My parents, his parents, my siblings, his siblings, were _all in the room_ and _saw him do it,_ yet he still denied that he did, he got into a _lot_ of trouble from his parents, but I'm still a bit miffed about it.

A few times my brother in law has stayed over at our house. Once he slept in one of our daughter's beds (daughter slept with us), another on the couch - yeah he peed on both and didn't say anything. The last time there was a lot of drinking, he was set up on cushions on the floor. We woke up the next morning to him gone, puke all over the makeshift bed, blankets and floor plus the toilet. A year later we realized my husband was missing a couple expensive fishing poles, then went fishing with this brother and saw him with one of the reel and pole that has gone missing - they were next to where he slept that last time. We knew he has a bit of a sticky fingers issue, but it didn't occur to us at the time as a lot was going on and we hadn't gotten around to going fishing for a while. He doesn't get invited over anymore...

    "Pokemon Go is a gateway"
    Killed me with that one🤣🤣🤣
Me and my wife had a somewhat irritating house guest at one point. It was our nephew's mother. My BIL's ex baby mama. Welp she liked drugs and she loved to steal. Well she had a much older boyfriend. He was likely 55 and she was 2 years older than me and my wife so 27 at the time. Well I'm a nice person overall, BUT I grew up rough in the projects and used to rob drug dealers when I/we could. Anywho I got away from that life but you know how certain things don't really completely leave you? Yeah one day they stole $50 from our change jar we used for emergencies. When confronted dude lied and tried to buck up to me. Keep in mind I am not fat but I'm not small but again I'm mostly a nice person. Me being nice must have been seen as a weakness and dude knew nearly nothing about me so he was shocked when his chin ran into my fist and as calm as I am the disrespect that day I knew people who were killed for less so right after the punch came me shoving dude to the door. He resisted at first. I stopped didn't say a word and looked at him like "bruh you really want this to go further?" He got the point. She apologized. I told her to leave with him. The last time we saw her she somehow got so high she left our nephew at her friend's home and we had to slap her awake to get the address. He's been with my FIL and his wife ever since. He's doing outstanding.
Moral of the story don't disrespect someone in their home and never assume. Some people will take any disrespect as a reason to kill and I'm from the South so it's kind of common, unfortunately. Fun times

I knew what you meant but this line struck my funny bone and I had to chuckle when I first read:
      “My BIL’s ex baby mama.”
My first thoughts were like, what? How…? Did she undo giving birth to your nephew when they split up? How does this work?!
I am sure that if it was possible, almost every guy dealing with any past baby mamas would LOVE to figure out how to undo their old gf’s part in their kids lives!
(Not being the grammar police, I promise. Please don’t edit it because it’s awesome!)

The pee story, I have a similar one. My Dad’s side of the family is very…for a lack of a better word ghetto. Very loud and live in one large house together. Having them stay over was already terrible since I’m not fond of his side and I also like a quiet environment. One of my cousins on his side of the family didn’t tell us she had a peeing problem and she pissed on our couch that she was sleeping on. I get that it’s embarrassing but don’t be a nasty person by pissing on peoples things it’s so gross 🤦 (She wasn’t a kid either she was about 16 or 17 at the time.)

I invited my BIL to stay with us while he went through chemo, twice because I'm dumb. The first time, I was pregnant and he was very rude when I asked him to not open strong smelling food in our car. About a year later, he came to stay with again. He cussed all the time around my kid who was starting to babble. He rearranged my living room, that I had set up in a way that worked for my family. He took my laundry out of the dryer and threw it in the drawer under the dryer instead the obviously empty hamper.

When I was in highschool my mom's brother and his wife and her 2 children moved in with us for about 6 months, we were poor and there was barely any furniture in our house only appliances was a stove and a washer and dryer. The house only had 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. I had my own room, my parents had their own room, the 2 children slept on the couch in the living room, and my uncle and his wife set up their mattress in OUR KITCHEN FLOOR. My uncle was just starting out doing a lot of drugs and drinking a lot and I would regularly find him and his wife drunk and fooling around in my kitchen late at night. They had no respect for anything in our house. They left trash all over the house (and this bothered me in particular) and even left USED TAMPONS in the KITCHEN WINDOW. and no... I don't mean the plastic applicators. I mean, cotton with the string, applicators, and wrappers just sitting in the kitchen window sill. There's more but I think that's enough for now.

OK kind of get the dog one… If the other dog is aggressive and the husky is not then why should the non-aggressive dog be stuck in the kennel, put the aggressive one in the kennel and let the friendly one have its space, I could see how it could come off a bit rude to be like "You put your own dog in the kennel so that we visitors can have our dog roaming the place" I think it could have been suggested more politely, but I do get what they're saying

    • @Br0nto5aurus
      @Br0nto5aurus หลายเดือนก่อน

9 times out of 10, aggression is just fear plus communication, and the fear often stems from emotional damage or fragility. Punishing a dog for having an emotion and communicating it, including taking a fearful dog's home territory away, will definitely make any contributing emotional insecurities worse. Also, friendly dogs are more problematic than people realize. They often have very poor social skills, so they ignore social cues from other dogs to back off. If you go to hug a stranger, and the stranger screams and flails while you ignore him and continue to hug him, are you being "friendly" or are you guilty of assault and at risk of getting hit in self defense? As a dog expert who owns a fearful dog, I have strange dogs in my house all the time, and they are kept leashed or in a seperate room unless/until my dog is comfortable, as that has offered the best results with her behavior towards them.

While I can understand the sentiment of not buying your own young child expensive things due to their carelessness at that age, I think teaching your kids to be respectful of the property of others is a completely separate issue. Idk what that mom was on.
Kids are ignorant, I get that. When I was little I had a necklace of real pearls and a necklace of fake pearls, and I got rid of the real ones because the clasp was silver and in my kid mind silver = grey and grey = dull, whereas the fake ones had a nice colorful gold clasp. To this day I wonder why my relative decided to trust five-year-old me with such valuable jewelry.
The one time I did break something at someone else’s house (it was one of those little porcelain bird collectibles), my parents weren’t there and my only consequence was being told by the host that the owner of the collectibles would be upset. I remember feeling weirded out that I wasn’t reprimanded, I wasn’t even forbidden from continuing to play with the collectibles, and I was much more careful with them for the rest of the day. I don’t think I ever asked to touch them again after.

As traumatic as the fish story is, 3 fancy goldfish in an 8 gallon tank were doomed anyway, that's far too small a tank. 30 or 40 gallons would be the minimum size for 3 such fish. They'd have been dead in a maximum of 12 or 18 months anyway, which is a bummer because goldfish can live for decades when kept in a properly sized and properly filtered tank or pond (as long as no little psychos kill them)

@@R.U.F_FullGhillie depends on how many gallons the pond is, but the ones in fish tanks at Chinese restaurants are suffering and live maybe a year if they're lucky.
