And that’s what I loved most about him. His experimental energy never died. He kept making crazy shit to the point where he submitted songs and said things like “idk if this is an _Avenged Sevenfold_ song…” but the rest of the band loved every second of it.
But with a little of edition, effort and instruments you can make it sound like one...without offense, but this poor quality makes it like a PS demo and that makes it more good 'cause the real fans remember PS and the style that The Rev continue doing even in demos. This is the ideas and styles that The Rev never reached to do for a possible 2nd album with Syn...but the only one that was officialy meant to be a PS song was Fiction (or Death in the demo) in Rev's computer files that Matt and company found inside of it.

To be honest, in my opinion, this version sound better than the released one. If Jimmy had the real fully finished lyrics, this would be better (Edit) The only reason I like it better is because of the rev singing. I love the way sings and if he had finished the lyrics I would like it better
Not likely. Jimmy was well-known for basically making entire songs, or even albums single-handed, leaving only leads, solos, and final vocals to be done. So Jimmy usually came up with the near-final product himself. The only real differences between this demo and the final version is that Matt did the vocals (as lead vocalist) and Syn and Zacky likely made the guitar transitions more seamless and Syn refined the solo a bit more. And of course Mike Portnoy came in and recorded the drums on real drums (Jimmy had only recorded on an electric kit for these demos).
no. the rev did a lot of demos like this when writing the songs. they are indications that words need to go there but he doesn't know what. there are clips of a little piece of heaven being done the same way.
Haha that's how he did demos.. he would come up with the melody first and just mumble random words to the beat .. its how metallica and probably alot of other groups do their early demos
thats what a demo is. they know words need to go there but not sure what so they just mumble something to see if sounds right or not before trying to figure out lyrics to a melody that they may not even keep.
man the rev had so much influence as to how they sounded every album before hail to the king.
He was pretty much the Mike Portnoy of the band. Ironic, in a way.
Agreed, he was the heart of the band. Tough I think you can still hear his influene on they're current releases.
@@nippe923 Not really... The Stage was bad, and the new album was fine but definitely not The Rev. Also, *their
@@IbukiLazuli Jimmy co-wrote 2/11 songs in the latest album tho.
This is what English sounds like to a non-native speaker.
The way I sing buried alive without read the lyrics
It's okay. This is what English sounds like to native speaker
The Rev on vocals 🥹
I wish the Rev was able to do the chorus on the final version, he killed it here even when speaking a different language
Man it's insane to hear this song with the Rev. His passing is just too unfortunate for the music industry.
It’s cool to me that the guitar solos were completely written before the lyrics
This is like The Sims version...
He still sounds the same here as he did years before on his own album. Look up Pinkly Smooth if you’ve never heard it, folks.

Unfortunate snort bonus track? 🤔✨
Nope😂

The Rev voice is so grim. This track has become dark.

Not at all lol
Jaja no
No, but they should have put some rev singing part on published one
priceless
the original idea was for Rev suppouse to sing??
Rev probably came up with melody for Matt hence he sang this demo.
@@katherinep708 cool
Maybe but the Rev usually did the demos himself as kind of like a blueprint of what should be in the final version.

Shit me too
that red color looks scarying
Wkwkwk
I like it.
can i get the strings only file?
Suara the rev ini kan

Dis real?
Real!
It's the demo of the song. That's why many words are just mumbles, because the lyrics weren't written completely done yet.
