Pretty cool. Definitely a high speed camera is needed to really see the true working of a 2t. It be cool to have the expansion chamber on it too and see the pulse wave come back and push the unburnt fuel back into the cylinder. Good job guys! Pretty freakin cool!
It looked like the carb. was tilted too much. It might have run better if he had raised the front wheel or lowered the float level. Having no expansion chamber didn't help either. I'd love to see revision A.
Hello guys! Even my 70 years old mom was delighted when I show her your video:)) especially with the transparent part of an engine. You are awesome, please continue doing what you do.
My parents bought me one of these bikes (new) for my 16th birthday. It managed 42 mph, down hill with the wind behind it, which was faster than most of my friend’s bikes. It was supposed to be limited to 30 mph, but I don’t think Simpson bothered to restrict it. I never consider trying to tune it to go faster. You have put a lot of work into yours 😀
If you guys had done this 40 years ago, you would have saved me a lot of time that I spent ripping into my poor Suzuki 90 to see what made it tick instead of doing homework. Maybe then my grades would have been better, and then...Naw! I loved every minute of it. Great job on the video!
Interesting experiment! I was thinking perhaps the rings would shave the bore in seconds even before the heat got to it! Happy and a bit surprised it lasted as long as it did, though it got more difficult to start each time from the lowering compression. Great idea, well done💥😃👍
Tuning the Samson engine with a transparent, cool and extraordinary engine body, so you can clearly see the compression and lubrication process on the engine 👍👍
WOW!!! Amazing work! Kept running way longer than I expected. Those ports 😍😍 The other see through parts 😍😍 And the lights are just iceing on the cake. Very nice!
Spectacular job reminding me of those see-through 3-D puzzles there’s got to be a way to make a complete motor out of bulletproof glass you’re halfway there
The hard truth is the poly cylinder will lose compression little by little every time you crank it. The heat from the spark & combustion and the piston ring will bore that poly cylinder little by little to eventual not enough compression to crank without the drill or stay running. Super cool either way.
Might want to let it cool down some between attempts. I'm not sure what your temp rating is with this material. I'm surprised the side walls aren't scratched up from the ring seating. Very very cool and nice job on the carving of the intake and exhaust ports! Well done on the whole build gents. 👍
@@edbaudoux6584 You don't need exhaust chamber when you don't have combustion. Moreover, it would br impossible, or just nonsense to see it working only with leds.
Yes it would be very hard to make a transparent expansion chamber, but would be very interesting to see the flow. A well designed pipe will add a lot of power to a two cycle.
