Shifting to Neutral in a TVS King Tuk Tuk, TVS Auto Rickshaw

If you are not used to a twist grip gear change such as the one on a TVS King, the Piaggio Ape or the Bajaj RE, you might struggle to select neutral.
The TVS King is by far the best for changing gear and the gears do not clonk like it does on some brands Tuk Tuk.
Getting it into neutral is easy when you have the knack of it we explain how to do it without damage to the clutch or the gearbox.
This same technic also works on a Bajaj and a Piaggio Ape it also works on Lambretta Scooters.

I have a 2022 Bajaj Maxima Z. Similar shifting problems. And if it stalls in gear it is very hard to get it in to neutral. The engine can not be started unless it is in neutral. The solution is what I call the "Bajaj shake." Hold the handle bars firmly and shake your body back and forth while gently but firmly jiggling the shifter until it moves from 1st or 2nd to neutral. DO NOT force it!

I disconnected my alarm it was driving me mad. When my TVS King was new the gear box was a utter dog but now I have driven six thousand klm the gear box selector has worn in now shifting gears is good and smoothe.

Akin pag mag first gear Ako malambot hanggang 4th pero pag ibalik ko sa second gear or first gear Ang tigas Minsan Hindi tlga babalik sa 2nd gear Kong Hindi ko pinapatay Ang TVS ko ano kaya problema

Sounds like you are not matching the revs to the speed.

I have gear issues. when the engine is on I can only move with a reverse gear or gear one. if I chose gear one I won't be able to select reverse gear why?
