A couple of comments though, Northumbria is overstretched, their army is almost entirely in scotland, therefore, you should use your garrison army (the one you have in your town I mean) to sack the settlements to the south. You have the cash, beef them up a little bit to guard against getting caught by some random Mercian stack (which I do not think will happen anyway) and sack away. You have a bonus to sacking so you can finance the development of your single province through that. Also, to have a spy would do you wonders to enable you to sack more and better and therefore to go stronger! Will stay tuned to your channel!

+OverkillTW Great start. Could you have set your navy in a raiding stance in enemy waters at the start for a turn or two? Or raided a coastal city before you disbanded them? Not trying to be rude, I don't have the game. It just seems like a waste of a basically free navy, even if you only use it as a one time strike force or just let it sit on enemy trade routes and make them pay for your navy. Once again not trying to be rude, that's a real question/suggestion.
during my recent aoc danes campaign i actually felt how helpful the viking raiders trait is, my army took out 2 full armies and a half navy stack from the welsh becouse my units werent seasick, i would have been dloughtered if i didnt, this almost makes it so that an army is just as useful as a navy, and im able to defend england agsinst those pesky franks. thanks to oblogaida(of whatever the fuck they are called) working as a buffer i dont have to worry about mainland denmark, wich is my main military hub :) and yeah, you have probably heard it alot but you're heading somewhere, u got way less subs than i eould have guessed, been subscribed for a while but wdnt you to know your work is apreciated and enjoyed :)
comment from the first battle; when you start it, pause the game, assign your siege equipment to each part of the wall,and hold down space, this should give you a heads up on where they are going, so you don't send them all to the same place, that's why they were stopping :P
Even with fishing ports at both Danish buildings I can't seem to support upgrading the actual cities in the starting danish province. Wtf am I missing? The field gives you like no food since their fertility is only 1.
OverkillTW please help, I'm doing the exact same campaign and difficulty and I'm even pretty much copying your moves to get a good start but my home province still has negative public order and rebelled against me with an army I can't even fight, what can I do to fix it?

The very first thing I did was take out the obodrite, it was not easy lol. I lost most of my army but at least when I built up and went to England I didn't have to worry about a mainland attack without spending money on two armies :)

For a Total war fan it's very important to see a campaign in legendary. im sure u can do it on legendary. I can and only started in 2012 with rome 1

you should use the fleet to sack all the coast of france, spain and maybe italy.

PS : Change youre port in Ribe to Fishing, that gives you enough food. as ur not building a Navy anyway.

How are you able to stretch and move your formations? When I try to do that they just try to stay however they were before I grabbed them?
