This is just such a amazing waltz, I have been listening to it for months, have listened to the whole thing at least twenty times, and it doesn't get old. I love this waltz so much!
The melody of this Viennese waltz is really amazing and mesmerizing to me. I love it very much and I get convinced of the huge talent of Johann Strauss II as a composer. Thanks a lot for posting this clip.
Thank you for sharing it, one of my favs since years. All 300's opuses composed between 1865-1881 by Johann Strauss II are absolutely brilliant: Flugschriften, Wiener Bonbons, An der schönen blauen Donau, Künstlerleben, Telegramme, Die Publicisten, G'schichten aus dem Wienerwald, Illustrationen, Wein, Weib und Gesang, Freuet Euch des Lebens, Neu Wien, Tausend und eine Nacht, Wiener Blut, Carnevalsbilder, Bei uns Z'haus, Wo die Zitronen blüh'n, Rosen aus dem Süden, Myrthenblüten.
@@Adamov1 I agree, the opportunity to follow the artistic evolution of Johann II is very interesting and valuable for self-studying, even just for own curiosity. I think that equally fascinating is to see the evolution of Johann Strauss father compositions.
This is so simple and beautiful at the same time! Thaís part 1:42 makes me think of purity, innocence 😍 as I already said, the delicacy of the Viennese waltz will stay in the history of humanity! I would be happy to see Joseph Lanner and Johann Strauss Father here. Would be amazing😍😍

I'm glad you love it!
This waltz was used beautifully in Soviet movie Farewell to St. Petersburg (1972) th-cam.com/video/PqhAGLhvuag/w-d-xo.html&t=1111

And also "Bürgerweisen", "Feenmärchen" and "Nordseebilder" are certainly worth listening from the 300's opus series.
@@antares7880 Have listened to all of them, nice indeed. Its nice to see evolution of his composing skills when you listen to them chronologically.
