This video was very helpful as well. I think I may like this one better than the Excel video. I'm not sure why though since they are similar to one another. I think just having it explained a second time helped to ingrain it into my brain.
firstly thank you so much for the video, I wanna ask a question about factor analysis. after I did the analysis in my output I can't see the pattern matrix table. Why is this happennig? Thank you in advance.
My research design uses T scores, so this was great information! Though I probably need to check out the Excel video as I would most likely not be using SPSS.
Simone Henry I did not realize that the data needed to be broken down into Z scores before being broken down into T scores. Therefore, that was very eye opening. I also liked how Dr. Grande step-by-step broke down what needs to be done to create a T score.
I still have mixed feelings about SPSS simply because I have never used it but it seems so easy to navigate and use. I save all the SPSS videos should I ever have the chance to use it in the future
Honestly, you are a lifesaver, Dr. Todd 👍🏽 👍🏽 👍🏽
like how this helps me to understand the scores so much more while I am learning to use the program
Thanks again Dr Grande for a very informative video

Rachel Foster I feel more comfortable with Excel only because I have never used SPSS, but I think that SPSS would be more helpful than Excel
Thank you. Seems very straightforward.
Very easy to understand, process and follow.

How would I get a table with every possible raw score to T-Score conversion Dr. Grande?
Thanks for the breakdown.
Using T score testing seem to be the most commonly used and more straightforward.
Is it the the same as t test? i am confused now
good video about creating t scores.

Can you convert t-scores into z-scores on spss?
Yes, the numeric expression is (T-Score-50)/10.
Very helpful thanks!
I'm glad you found it helpful - thanks for watching -
