Most Hollywood media portrays Hades as a villain. Having Disney use Hera is different. Also, the correct Greek name is Heracles. Hercules is the Roman name for Heracles.
Yea, I remember reading that the original Beauty and the Beast Belle had 2 sisters, and they were going to originally be in the movie, but the reason Gaston ended up being the villain was because they were worried people would think it was too much like Cinderella. I will also say I don't think Lion King would have been as successful with the hyena boss being the main villain, Scar being the younger brother and hating that he would never get his chance to be king is definitely a better idea for him to be the main villain, and not Van Guy.
