He looks like those people that try for 30 mins to tell you a joke but keeps laughing and cant. Then finally cools down to tell you. But they just cried cause they laughed so hard and are trying not to do it again
He's amazing, he was one of my earliest favorites when I started watching stand-up like 17 years ago. He was so ahead of his time, during an era of cliche jokes with copy/paste delivery he was always unique but most importantly talented
It’s amazing how many people don’t understand all of his mannerisms are entirely intentional. It makes him funnier. It’s not autism or anxiety. It’s built into his act and makes him great. He has evolved his behavior during his set over the years.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to see both Jeremy Hotz and Russell Peters perform in a three comedian set at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto, back in 1989 or 1990, way before they both became famous. Can't recall the third guy, so I guess he never "made it".
Every time I meet someone from Pittsburg l always ask them: So, have they finished the Parkway yet? That thing was under construction when I used to travel there for interviews while in college. And it's still not finished.

This was appalling. Some of the jokes didn't even make sense. "His eyes are so wide apart he can peak at me out of the corner of his eye" You don't have to have wide apart eyes to peak out of the corner of your eye. You just have to have eyes to peak out of the corner of your eye.

In fact he has always had an extreme anxiety problem, and depends heavily on his anxiety dog. He sure took that problem and ran with it.
