Can you tell me the name of the screw type you are using? I cannot find that kind anywhere where it has the large piece to seal the hole. Thanks for any help! This looks great! I am getting ready to replace the top of my patio area like this.

@@ThePhamtastic1 I don't know for sure if it is proprietary, but the company that supplied the roofing kit is Onduline and that is the type of screw they manufacture for their panels. In North America just use the roofing screw that has a 1/2 inch neoprene washer that seals out the rain. There are several brands such as Tuftex at Lowes.
Between the panels is H trim. At the ends is U trim. The spray bottle he used was probably a mix of dish soap and water - makes the polycarbonate sheet a bit more slippery for pushing the trim on.
The breather tape allows humidity to vent out the bottom. Solid tape at the top prevents water and insects from getting into the sheets. Also, should vacuum out the holes after drilling. Anything that gets in there from drilling is going to be in there for the life of the roof.
On the edge of them, you fitted that end caps, but the water from boards is leaking through there, and fills up the panel square holes. Looks horrible while raining. I need to do mine better, probably seal the top of the end cap with silicone.
You should use the solid tape at the top of the panels, and the breather/vented tape at the bottom. Many will also drill small holes in the U trim that runs along the bottom of the panels - drill before installing so you don't drill through the tape as well.

Missed the aluminum tape on the top end and the ventilated tape at the bottom end to prevent moisture from going in.
Two years later in our climate, it is ok without aluminum tape on the top end and the ventilated tape at the bottom. Checked.

Is there any specific reason why you didn't use so-called "breather" tape at the end of PC sheets? Or are they just a gimmick by any chance?
