Great looking jeans. It’s a bonus that they have the versatility to look good with all the different boot types. It always impresses me how well the BNV boots look with all jeans.
I'm wearing the same 99 percent cotton ones too in slim straight but in black with black pointed toe Cowboy boots..... Fantastic fit and so damn comfortable !

I think Levi’s quality control makes it super difficult to order their pants online. I’ve had 505s that are really tight on the thigh, others that were baggy. Same with 514. My 514s are slimmer than any 505s I’ve ever owned but I’d tried others that fit a lot looser.
I've got myself about 30 pairs of jeans from Levis to Lee's to Lee coopers to wranglers, each one tailored to go with a particular pair of boots..........................its the only way.
Levi’s 514 are essentially the same fit as 501, however, they have a mid-rise instead of full rise, have a zipper instead of button fly, and more regularly include 1% stretch. They’re my all time favorite jeans - especially if I’m not tucking in my shirt. For those, I go with the 505, which is s similar fit, but a slightly higher rise and a touch more room in the thigh.
Levis 514 are amazing I tried them on before and it looks nice on me im planning on getting one hopefully and it definitely looks great with cowboy boots ill always go with for Straight Cut and Bootcut Jeans you should definitely try Gap Bootcut and Rock Revival Bootcut
Not bad not bad jc, square toe didn't look too bad but I think the bnv ones had the better look. An definitely after the wash an dry did the roper look better also
I always preferred the fit of the 514, unfortunately the stretch blends wreck the original intent of the 514 fit, which I believe was the moose knuckle look that was very prevelant in past generations. I have many pairs of 100% Cotton 514's that I would have a very difficult time parting with. And the 100% Cotton old school 514 also works well with and boots you pair them with, there was always enough room to pull the leg over the cowboy boot, though the stretch blends may allow more flexibility in pulling the leg over the boot, I'm still sticking with my old school 100% Cotton 514's to do the "moose knuckle shuffle", and that's a dance song if you never heard it, I suggest you look it up. Also, just for shits & giggles I would like you to locate a couple of pairs of 514 Levi's used that are in good to like new condition, in your size, try E-bay or Poshmark and make a comparison video of the fits, and show us which one shows the better moose knuckle.
Jeremiah, can you do a video about boots and jeans that are only made in America, I know cowboy boots are mostly made in America but some brands are importing all of their inventory, and now I’m wondering how many brands are actually making both boots and jean in America. I’m willing to bet there are only a handful that do both jeans and boots made in America. Thanks for all your videos, when I get the money I’m going to get the blue boots from Hondo!
The 514 straight legs are my go to jeans…I’ve got bigger thighs & calves, so they offer adequate stretch & comfort all day. They also stack well with all my boots. Also, my 514s are 99% cotton & 1% elastane…no polyester.
Straights are perfect. I use them because they have a slimmer look but without showing that outline of your boot. I wore 505 forever but switched to 514/506 506 is what I use, it’s straight but not the stretch material. Super nice
@@TheLoneLander Wait, are you saying that Levi's 514 nowadays are not the same as years before? That sucks, because one of the MAIN reasons they have different models is because they are different from each other and are unique, but they should not do any modifications to them, should be always fit or straight according to each model. So, the Levi's 513 are the most accurate to the 514 from before?
@@TheLoneLander The problem is, that I just can get those jeans pre-owned and honestly I dont like that. But, the most accurate to them are 513 now? Are you able to use boots on 513?
I have heard that Egyptian cotton is supposed to be very comfortable. My only objection to these jeans, and most jeans on the market today, is that the manufacturers fade unnatural patterns on the thighs and in between the hips and crotch. I just think that look will be out of style soon. When it goes out of style. we'll be left with a collection of unfashionable jeans like the acid-wash ripped look from the eighties and bell bottoms of the seventies.
Hey Jeremiah, you should do a "Wrangler vs. Levi's" video after you've tried all their models to see which brand has more to offer.
That J toe boot looked awesome with those jeans. I usually ain’t a huge fan of a J toe , but that particular boot
Worked well here.
Great looking jeans. It’s a bonus that they have the versatility to look good with all the different boot types. It always impresses me how well the BNV boots look with all jeans.
Egyptian cotton is good stuff. Those BNV colab water buffalo boots are always a winner with everything! 👍
514 is my favourite Jean I’ve found!!!
I agree. 514 are hands down my favorite jeans for cowboy boots
Very nice. I wear Levi’s 502’s with my Tecovas. I think it’s a great fit and look for me.
Wow man, those caiman boots are really gorgeous!
nothin beats the 527’s
Agreed
Mine are 514 99cotton 1elastane and slim straight love em
Yeah, same with my 514s…no polyester. Perfect fit & comfort.

What Oz denim are in the levi 514 with 1% stretch? Also are you sure that the 514 are a mid rise jean? They feel like a low rise jean too me.
Top information. Thanks 🙏
In other words, they're nothing like the 501!

There's a brand called Deerborn that are made out of Michigan, though I don't know to much about them.

Definitely don't have to worry about stepping on the back of those jeans with their leg opening.
Have you done a Levi’s 541 video with boots ?
505 and 541 are favorites for boots.
514 are my favorite Levi’s.
Have you tried the levi's 513 slim straight yet?
Which do you recommend more the 514s or the 505s? I mostly have square toe boots
Got some other jeans 👖 recommendation
Dickies regular fit or carpenter
Wrangler carpenter jeans
Wrangler rugged wear jeans
Carhartt jeans
514 hands down the best jeans
Can you bring the 514's n the boots to India.
I prefer 511 tex twill with Harley boots
People say (forums) that Rick Grimes uses a Levis 514 Slim Straight (black) with Justin Boot Co Model #2222, which makes sense watching this video!
Modern 514 aren't slim now they are 513 but yea he wore old black 514s when they were slim.

Forget Levi’s and go with Wrangler #13.
Hey Jeremiah just asking if you got my emails cause my emails act up
It is not a cowboys jean that is the 517.
Levis quality has really declined in the past 20 years. I quit buying them and go with Wrangler exclusively. Much higher quality.

Nope, there is a reason why jean companies have something called "Boot Cut".🤷♂️
Those jeans do not fit you at all. You need a slightly higher rise in the waist in a jean. 505?
