to be honest i feel like the Friendly Banter everyone has to each other in the VP (either its a coping mechanism to deal against a mentally/emotionally and psychologically taxing job or pettiness from seeing the reactions of how their peers kill their mirror selves, hear the comments against the mirror double, etc.. ) is an effect of their situation and it really is interestingly a good plot writing since we know the Radiant Wars and Alternate Universes/Timelines exists
Phoenix is literally the protagonist of valorant. He's everywhere and the cinematic where he meets his double goes down like your typical anime would lol.
Explaining why Phoenix didn't recognize Jett in the Ignition Cinematic is due to Jett of Earth-1 not being recruited into the Valorant Protocol just yet: it explains why Jett has the voice line "I hate that people think Venice is my fault..." It would also make sense considering Jett is agent 10.

This is merely speculation since the only thing we know about Earth-2 is that their technology is far more advanced than Earth-1's, but they must be around the same time period since the agents on both sides are the same age and personality?

I argue, phenix ulted by his instinct when he was about to get shot by yoru, after that jett shot him first and then he respawned. Yoru did that to save phoenix.
I kinda felt like Phoenix was left out of the loop for so long because he's the most immature of the group. I think that information is something you have to thread on carefully. A soldier doesn't need the whole story, it becomes a burden to him/her. Phoenix was left out of the loop because he is a good person, if he was told that another version of himself is stealing shit to I don't know save his world, he would probably not fight or have second thoughts

I think Phoenix's Immortality seems to be something he pre-activates. In the duelist and retake cinematics, his eyes turn red while he channels fire around his body before running in, and those are the two times he every get's shot in cinematics. So I really think it's his Run it Back ability at play. And as he doesn't seem to prepare before using it, I think all he has to do is literally activate it before pushing in.

I honestly think that the way he burnt down the academy is because of his anger or impatience. His personality and voice lines have stated that he is impatient and rather brash. And in the Valorant championships music video his part of the song is about his anger and emotions making him less effective. With that and the responsibility of how powerful he is in game. He need to remain cool and calm or people get hurt, especially how every ability can harm your teammates (ult included because the flame spot that he leaves when he activates does 2x more damage than his molly if you stand on it)

When he dies he always comes back in the same spot, therefore he channels his energy before he dies to be reborn, but in the lore, his ultimate has no time limit.
I would imagine that he's not quite immortal, since we only see him die when he lights up as though he was casting Run It Back. However, I could also imagine that given more time to master his powers he might achieve immortality, i.e. permanent ult uptime. In that case it's probably be necessary to shut him down with like a Kay/0 pulse.

The reason for why phoenix has this revival ability is because it might be a reference of the pheonix rising from the ground and rise to the sky as a way to show phoenix dies but rises like the pheonix and comes back to life
I think the cinematic timeline is Duality -> Duelists -> Retake He would have said something about mirror earth jett if he didn't know about that. And Retake has to take place after Duality as they did not have spike defusers until then I think

It could be possible that when Mirror Earth has already recruited agents up to Yoru in Duality, Earth 1's VP was lagging behind in recruiting agents. So they see an agent on the enemy team, find their Earth 1 counterparts and recruit them.

I don't think phoenix is immortal but it depends on how many times he can be reborn because the VP will be in a lot of fights with mirror earth and if phoenix can't always use that ability then he will eventually become mortal
If his fire regenerates his cells, it kinda means he cant age, like Reyna. And unlike Reyna, he can self sustain it, he doesn't need to kill people for it.
I think phoenix gets his "2nd life" as you would call it by Confidence, because everytime he gets a 2nd life he's like "let me show you how da boss does it" then his ability activates, so I think his ultimate his to do with his confidence or something like that.
Well considering the fire bird phoenix they are known to well, have fire powers they are also known to be practically immortal, to always be reborn and never die, which fits the character phoenix perfectly.
In my opinion, Phoenix isn't necessarily permanently immortal, but once he gathers enough energy(or fulfills some other criteria), he can enter a state that makes him temporarily immortal and revives him when he takes enough damage. I think this is the case because as we see in the Duelist cinematic, he starts to glow before attempting to engage Jett, only to get shot and revived.
In retake, just before phoenix attacked he said "Let me show you how the boss does it" and "activated" his ult ability. U can see those fire circles around his shoulders. Maybe focus next time watching cinematics? He literally reborns in the same place where he said that.
I dont think he’s relatively immortal, but as long as he’s in his ult, he’s immortal. In both ignition and retake, hes seen activating his ult, but in duality he’s not, which is why viper interferes… she knows phoenix can die
He´s not actually immortal, at the scene right before fighting jett, you can see him using his ultimate, so that after a time, he can respawn again. You can see that he is fixing his jacket (?) and a sudden burst of flames. That is a tell tell sign of an activation of his ult. He probably knew he was gonna die or he hadn´t had enough confidence in himself, so that he made sure that he was gonna come back and still help out the VALORANT Protocol. Edit: This means he will come back to the point when he dies or after a certain amount of time where he uses his ultimate. He basically can set his spawn point but he has a limited time to use it or he will get teleported back 2. Edit: No, at the cinematic retake, he again activated his ult just before he went out to kill viper. Also I think that the mirrored jett wanted to shoot but the alpha Yuro first shot through phoenix (cause he knew he activated his ult) and killed the jett with that. You can also see that he respawns at the point where he activated his ult
Here a good point in the trailer with yoru on icebox, you can see before phoenix rushes in, he has these fire circles around his jacket which similar to the duelist trailer. From this we can make the assumption that when he gets his fire jacket circles around his jacket, uts the equivalent of using his ult
I’m pretty sure it’s that the fire (or something else idk) more or less returns him to a previous state, rather than him being straight up immortal. Even when he’s unprepared, the fire manages to bring him back, and since we know it heals him, I think it’s more or less like Phoenix leaving a save point to return to rather than just pure immortality
About Pheonix's immortality, as shown in the Duelists cinematic, before entering the building where he fights Mirror Jett, he actually uses one of his powers which enables his ability to come back from the dead. That said, i personally think, if he doesn't enable this power of his, he's gone for good.
So I just noticed a tiny detail when in retake before he went in the jacket and his body got brighter and some lit on fire and when Jett shot him he ended up in that exact spot where he changed I think it’s just him ulting before he goes in just in case same thing in the first cinematic with phoenix and Jett just that time it took longer to regenerate
sage has to heal everyone after they die tho, and sages ult is reviving, meaning there are no cooldowns. making him immortal. its just we have to work for the ult so the game could actually be playable
Actually, I think what happened was phoenix was being rebellious at the school and got suspended and because of the suspension he burned it down out of anger, that just makes more sense imo
I think Phoenix is chosen to show us how it is, to be a new agent in the protocol. Maybe Venice was one of his first missions out of the training since he is an Agent in the Protocol. They have surely heard of his school accident and have included him in the Valorant protocol. But like to all-new people in a job or in this case as an agent, you didn't get said everything, much likely cause they are national secret information.

Phoenix isn't immoral in my opinion because in the cinematics he changes right before he goes in you can see that in the retake and duelist cinematics duality was the only time he didn't change so in the duality cinematic he could have died if viper wasn't there. It's kind of the same in the game he cast his ult so when he dies he comes back.
Phoenix likes to flex and is pretty much a self-confident person. He seems like the guy who is willing to take any risk which makes sense why he has the role of a Duelist. Phoenix likes to think he is a celebrity or he might be one. His radiant power is to create fire and control and manipulate it at will. Phoenix likes to sometimes think he is the best out of everyone, kinda makes sense why some people hate him or just straight down disgust him. That very incident you were talking about is what created Ascent. Perhaps in the Duelists trailer, Phoenix was on his first ever mission so didn't know what the enemy he was facing with. So, Jett wasn't introduced to him in the real earth Valorant Protocol. Phoenix can also be careless sometimes so that's why they didn't try to tell Phoenix so he would try to gather info on his own. Also Yoru likes to compete with Phoenix alot which makes their friendship the best :D Jett just likes to flirt with Phoenix and make him blush or just make him more confident in himself. It would nice to see Yoru, I think there's lots of connections with him on Icebox and maybe Kingdom.
I’ve been playing Valorant for about half a year now and the only agent I know how to play is Phoenix. I think I should probably learn how to use more agents.

I really enjoyed it and I think valorant gonna be a vast universe like league of legends. 🔴And he is my idea about "Why didn't tell anybody about the mirror world to Phoenix?" 🔹I think radiants from the mirror world come to collect radionite for restore the life of their world or something. And Kingdom knows about that and they don't want them to have those radionite because as you mentioned in your video they are able to give 3/4 of power supply for the whole world by using those radoinite. And maybe they have warned to Brimstone and Viper about the mirror world and why gradients of mirror world are coming to earth and maybe the Kingdom has told them to keep it as a secret and which is also clear why Breach is so suspicious about Brimstone. And I think the reason to keep it as a secret is if radiants of VP know about this they might turn against The Kingdom or the destruction of life of mirror earth happened because of some experiment or something of The Kingdom. And this is just my idea I don't know what's real. But the lore behind Valorant is so interesting. And I would like watch more valorant agents' lore videos especially SOVA, CYPHER & REYNA. I don't think phoenix is immortal but it depends on how many times he can be reborn because the VP will be in a lot of fights with mirror earth and if phoenix can't always use that ability then he will eventually become mortal
If his fire regenerates his cells, it kinda means he cant age, like Reyna. And unlike Reyna, he can self sustain it, he doesn't need to kill people for it.
I think phoenix gets his "2nd life" as you would call it by Confidence, because everytime he gets a 2nd life he's like "let me show you how da boss does it" then his ability activates, so I think his ultimate his to do with his confidence or something like that.

Phoenix is one of the most wholesome yet coolest agents in valorant.
Well considering the fire bird phoenix they are known to well, have fire powers they are also known to be practically immortal, to always be reborn and never die, which fits the character phoenix perfectly.
In my opinion, Phoenix isn't necessarily permanently immortal, but once he gathers enough energy(or fulfills some other criteria), he can enter a state that makes him temporarily immortal and revives him when he takes enough damage. I think this is the case because as we see in the Duelist cinematic, he starts to glow before attempting to engage Jett, only to get shot and revived.

I dont think he’s relatively immortal, but as long as he’s in his ult, he’s immortal. In both ignition and retake, hes seen activating his ult, but in duality he’s not, which is why viper interferes… she knows phoenix can die
In “Retake”, Phoenix activated his ult when he said “Let me show you how the boss does it” at the start of the video, his suit lighted up
He´s not actually immortal, at the scene right before fighting jett, you can see him using his ultimate, so that after a time, he can respawn again. You can see that he is fixing his jacket (?) and a sudden burst of flames. That is a tell tell sign of an activation of his ult. He probably knew he was gonna die or he hadn´t had enough confidence in himself, so that he made sure that he was gonna come back and still help out the VALORANT Protocol.

This means he will come back to the point when he dies or after a certain amount of time where he uses his ultimate. He basically can set his spawn point but he has a limited time to use it or he will get teleported back

No, at the cinematic retake, he again activated his ult just before he went out to kill viper. Also I think that the mirrored jett wanted to shoot but the alpha Yuro first shot through phoenix (cause he knew he activated his ult) and killed the jett with that. You can also see that he respawns at the point where he activated his ult

We see Pheonix ult before approaching Jett in that Cinematic. He's definitely not immortal and instead, is only able to revive after ulting.

Here a good point in the trailer with yoru on icebox, you can see before phoenix rushes in, he has these fire circles around his jacket which similar to the duelist trailer. From this we can make the assumption that when he gets his fire jacket circles around his jacket, uts the equivalent of using his ult

I’m pretty sure it’s that the fire (or something else idk) more or less returns him to a previous state, rather than him being straight up immortal. Even when he’s unprepared, the fire manages to bring him back, and since we know it heals him, I think it’s more or less like Phoenix leaving a save point to return to rather than just pure immortality

About Pheonix's immortality, as shown in the Duelists cinematic, before entering the building where he fights Mirror Jett, he actually uses one of his powers which enables his ability to come back from the dead. That said, i personally think, if he doesn't enable this power of his, he's gone for good.

So I just noticed a tiny detail when in retake before he went in the jacket and his body got brighter and some lit on fire and when Jett shot him he ended up in that exact spot where he changed I think it’s just him ulting before he goes in just in case same thing in the first cinematic with phoenix and Jett just that time it took longer to regenerate

sage has to heal everyone after they die tho, and sages ult is reviving, meaning there are no cooldowns. making him immortal. its just we have to work for the ult so the game could actually be playable

I think Phoenix is chosen to show us how it is, to be a new agent in the protocol. Maybe Venice was one of his first missions out of the training since he is an Agent in the Protocol. They have surely heard of his school accident and have included him in the Valorant protocol. But like to all-new people in a job or in this case as an agent, you didn't get said everything, much likely cause they are national secret information.

Phoenix isn't immoral in my opinion because in the cinematics he changes right before he goes in you can see that in the retake and duelist cinematics duality was the only time he didn't change so in the duality cinematic he could have died if viper wasn't there. It's kind of the same in the game he cast his ult so when he dies he comes back.
I think that the coat helps him come back from the dead because the fire when he ults comes from his coat
Phoenix likes to flex and is pretty much a self-confident person. He seems like the guy who is willing to take any risk which makes sense why he has the role of a Duelist.
Phoenix likes to think he is a celebrity or he might be one. His radiant power is to create fire and control and manipulate it at will. Phoenix likes to sometimes think he is the best out of everyone, kinda makes sense why some people hate him or just straight down disgust him. That very incident you were talking about is what created Ascent. Perhaps in the Duelists trailer, Phoenix was on his first ever mission so didn't know what the enemy he was facing with. So, Jett wasn't introduced to him in the real earth Valorant Protocol. Phoenix can also be careless sometimes so that's why they didn't try to tell Phoenix so he would try to gather info on his own. Also Yoru likes to compete with Phoenix alot which makes their friendship the best :D

I’ve been playing Valorant for about half a year now and the only agent I know how to play is Phoenix. I think I should probably learn how to use more agents.
The reason why he's pretty much the comedic relief in the lore is bcs he British, all of British is pretty much a comedic relief, by words and actions

🔹I think radiants from the mirror world come to collect radionite for restore the life of their world or something. And Kingdom knows about that and they don't want them to have those radionite because as you mentioned in your video they are able to give 3/4 of power supply for the whole world by using those radoinite. And maybe they have warned to Brimstone and Viper about the mirror world and why gradients of mirror world are coming to earth and maybe the Kingdom has told them to keep it as a secret and which is also clear why Breach is so suspicious about Brimstone. And I think the reason to keep it as a secret is if radiants of VP know about this they might turn against The Kingdom or the destruction of life of mirror earth happened because of some experiment or something of The Kingdom.
And this is just my idea I don't know what's real. But the lore behind Valorant is so interesting.
And I would like watch more valorant agents' lore videos especially SOVA, CYPHER & REYNA.
