    Great video 👍👍.
    My problem is I'm using the diamond mesh over 1/2" sheathing and paper.
    I was impressed your installation of your wire, u had your cups up 😃👍

    Once you create that Bond and it cures it'll stick to that wire message talking about preventing it from falling off with the weight overtime settling😢😮

    Hi Thank you for the series!! Would those nails work with cement block homes?? Thanks I’m advance!!

      those nails are for wood only, not rated for masonary walls.

    I understand and appreciate your doing things right but for everyone who wants to know you can just go get a box of drywall screws and pin the chicken wire down. Same thing saves tons of money

      Check the wire gauge. The Home Depot stucco wire is total crap too. Sorry, no free lunch!

    wouldn't you want 6 inch horizontal spacing as well to keep that 1/4 spacing between the mesh and wall?

      I can't picture what your question is. can you ask a different way?

    • @driger888

      @@KenTraining my question is about horizontal nail spacing. you placed nails at 6" vertically along the studs. it appears you need a nail at the midpoint between studs otherwise with 17" oc spacing of studs the mesh will sag when you apply the stucco, and you will lose the 1/4" clearance between the wall and mesh.

      @@driger888 my studs were 16 O.C. Spacing. I did 3 nails per stud. I can tell you the job is still holding up great.

      @@KenTraining ok furring nails are so rarely used anymore its hard to find information. i was considering adding a nail in between studs to ensure the mesh keeps has 1/4" clearance spacing. guess it couldn't hurt. . thanks for the video.

      @@KenTraining when you buy furred dimpled metal lath, the dimples generally spaced @ 6" vertically and horizontally, so i would think furring nails should be @ that spacing for unfurred metal lath. glad your project worked out and hope this helps other diy-ers.

    How much did you quote a job this size?

    • @KenTraining
      @KenTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not a contractor. I am just a DIYer working on my own home. No quote was provided.

    Hold up stop stop we're going to need for you to take all that off we're going to have to have you reapply the mesh wire the drip edge and the hours just go ahead and log them in or either we're going to have to stop this this is we need efficiency incorrect you have a lots of harnesses and things you've spent a lot of money I'm going to have to let you go I'm going to have to give you your walking papers if you're not able to complete this job this task in the most efficient Manor considerable time being the judge time is equivalent to livelihood❤
