    Against Swordsoul you likely win the match if you summon Garunix of Kirin instead of its own effect, because you will then destroy impermanence with Kirins effect before Garunix activates

  • @donaldlivingston75
    @donaldlivingston75 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Pretty good run there! Definitely had a lot go right for it, going first against a lot of decks that really need to go first. The win vs Tear was like the trope where you grind for hours to get the Boss on your team, then once they join they lose all their power.

      When they have the out they have the out. Maxx C hoses Danger! Tear.

      This is TCG Danger Tears too, so they aren't running Maxx C and counters to it. OCG Danger Tears with the full Maxx C suite would have fared much better.

    think during the sword soul duel, you should have used island on kirin to kill the face-down early on. no reason to commit a board when island is threatened

    I think holding Super Poly for the Little Knight summon to get out Dragostapelia and then ensuring Kit's effect goes off might've won it for Tear, but not sure. Obviously can't expect either of the players to play perfectly for that many games in a row.

    In the last game I think you could have gotten the imperm to resolve but it requires you to use basically your entire hand to trigger kirin's pop effect in grave to kill the hrdaa. Still doesn't beat the single spell negate on field though.

    • @patrickmead9572
      @patrickmead9572 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good point yeah. By Main Phase 2, Danger Thunder was out of negations, so CbtG would have gone through and Bonfire would have been live.

    • @babrad
      @babrad ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Or not commit to the normal summon at all, Kirin pop the other Kirin, summon Arvata pop 38, enter BP to threaten Spheres so they bounce Arvata, then you have the normal summon + Imperm + CBTG to deal with Colosus and also bait Hot Red in order to safely activate Bonfire (assuming no Ash in hand since Arvata is not used yet but there is no other FIRE).
      Apollo + Princess + SP would have been enough to win the followup turn, while Zealantis would permanently banish the negated Colossus (nomi) and Brotaur (banished by its own effect) wiping their board

    • @patrickmead9572
      @patrickmead9572 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@babrad In fact that could have been done during the opponent's first turn, popping one card while putting up a monster negation! That match against swordsoul definitely was a throw. You could’ve won that if you hadn’t just gone battle phase immediatly. Could’ve used island, popped the synchro and gone for game definitely a biiiiig throw. If it wasn’t for that the deck could’ve had 7+ wins so really shows how strong the deck is when it performed better than full power Kash.

    • @vv2955
      @vv2955 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a fair comparison. This deck is the OCG variant running 3x Maxx C playing against TCG format decks without instant-win Maxx C or even counters to it at times (Ash, CBTG).

    • @AndrewUdal
      @AndrewUdal ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vv2955 that’s not true. It also played against decks that had maxx C. I think it’s important to realise fire king is already a good deck, the last ycs shows that. The new support makes fire king waaaaaaaayyyy better than it is right now so rather than 4 tops we’ll be seeing a lot more, and that’s besides the fact a banlist happened. Sure maxx C is busted but fire king doesn’t need it too so as well as it does.
      Side note: seeing as it’s a cross banlist cup, it’s treated almost like a no banlist cup so sure maxx C pulls wait but so does literally every other banned card like Calamity or Collossus or Kitkalos so yea. On top of allll this, maxx C was only used against tear which literally plays around it as good if not better than fire king whereas maxx C was dropped on fire king like 3-4 times. So fire king actually did as well as it did without maxx C.

    In the game vs thunder
    imperm colossus chain hot red
    Kirin pop kirin
    Kirin eff summon arvata pop harbinger, if they chain seals to bounce kirin you can just called by the colossus in grave and bonfire
    if they dont you pop harbinger anyways and have called by for colossus and arvata means that seals wont be impactful, if they decide to hold it all the way you eventually can get to flamberge with arvata on field and im pretty sure its just game

    • @notthrowinqygo2249

      Princess bring back flamberge Link of Kirin and princess into phoenix into zeal
      Princess in grave pops 1 monster on both fields and then phoenix comes back

Fire King would need Arvata + Apollousa to prevent the mills. Actually, even that wouldn’t have been enough because Sulliek can negate Arvata as soon as it’s summoned and you can chain block Kit with the discarded Nessie anyway.

      I mean, Even Danger! Tear slams so hard. Fire King was hard carried by Maxx C, And the Tear list was playing only 1 Kitkallos. Tear decks play Kitkallos at 2 in case something happens to the first. And it's actually very common to play Kitkallos at 2, That it got limited to 1 on release in Master Duel. So even Danger! Tear slams very badly. No need for Ishizus at all

    • @lhv2k

      It's gonna be a landslide 4-0 for Tear, that's your answer, no need to watch. Shufflers just completely murder Fire King and not to mention easy Dweller. A GY deck not named Tear will never stand a chance.
      The only chance any deck could ever hope for against Ishizu Tear is using Shifter, and Fire King can't use it at all.

    Why let the deck go second sometimes? Kinda unfair tho. While it does prove that the new Snake-Eye Fire King deck can play through multiple interruptions, if it would have went first a few times, it could have reached the top easily. But i feel like these kind of decks should go always second, since they are the "challanger". Maxx c is a disrespectful card tho.

      @ Just....stop. This video is ment for entertainment purposes, theres no real stakes in this nor is it a monetary competition. If anything this is ment to showcase what the deck can do vs other titans throughout the years
      Also for the record; in G7 Lithium could have broken that board and won. He just didnt see the correct way to do it.
      1. Imperm the Dragon Archfiend
      2. Kirin effect > pop the other Kirin, summon itself
      3. Kirin effect summons Avrata, pops Titantic Galaxy
      4. Called by the Grave on the Colossus in the graveyard, negating the one on the field
      5. Now you can activate Bonefire to search Ash, and then start the combo. Avrata will protect the combo from Hieratic Seal (and also deny the tribute effect)
      But thats just how yu gi oh is, the game is very hard and mistakes are def made. Its like a puzzle. Also the decklist is very well built so getting great hands are pretty consistent.

      In this duel, Yes
      In general, Tear is
      better by a long shot lol
      Even in this duel, Fire King won just because of Maxx C, Also the Tear deck Not playing 2 Kitkallos

      Its wasn't even Ishizu Tear.
      And you can't say witch deck is better based on a best of one, the Ishizu Tear lost to Swordsoul while clearly being the better deck.

      @@jotinhafilho5920 And even that loss against SwordSoul was because of a misplay from the Tear player 😂

      @@_Sasuke_99 Idk. With or without Maxx c, the decks seem to be pretty at par. Now if you bring Ishizu Tear, it’s obvious that variant is MUCH stronger than Fire Kings. It’s gonna take something much more degenerate to outclass Ishizu Tear. Maybe by 2025 or 2026, we’ll see a stronger deck that Ishizu Tear always dreamed of lol

      @@tony1992able the GY manipulation of tear 0 is too much for any decks to handle, therefore we should have Ishizu Tear in the next ban list cup lol
