*Thanks to these talented & dedicated devs, Jurassic Park Operations will be the best love letter to all JP fans.* JWE2 is great, at the same time you can see all the missed opportunities with their maps, example their 1993 chaos theory map layout hardly looks anything like the original park. Same with JWE1 return to Jurassic park dlc map. The care & attention to detail Krenautican and the rest of the team have shown to the most minute of details is simply astounding & unprecedented in anything that came before. For example, the motion sensors appeared only at the edge of the screen in film, hardly visible at all & unnoticed by most. They only appeared in full through concept art & a pixelated rendition within the SNES/NES JP game. Yet, these were still not overlooked by the JP Operations team. They also included the raptor pen underground viewing area, something that is only included in the script where Hammond explains to Ellie how they added eight-inch tempered glass set in reinforced steel frames as safety within the viewing area below, whilst their conversation gets drowned by that between Alan & Muldoon. I reiterate, Jurassic Park Operations will be the best love letter to all JP fans, unlike anything that came before!

"Here is how it's done in the final shot" - ad break. I wanted to say that I appreciate having the ad right there, before the ""payoff"", instead of breaking the flow of the explanation.
This is undoubtedly the most faithful recreation of this scene that has EVER been done. A quick TH-cam search will net you dozens of other attempts, some in much higher fidelity rendering engines and yet this one, done with Dreams is the best. Excellent attention to detail. I wish you all the best on your game, it's clear you and you're team are passionate about what is being done and the work shows. Splendid work!
First, I want to say, YOUR work on this scene recreation was stunning. No questions about that. Most people when recreating this scene don't quite get the head motion right, but you nailed it spot on. But can we also talk about how far CG work has come in the past 30 years? When Jurassic Park was being produced, this exact scene took a TEAM of animators 6 months to complete on top of the line computers DESIGNED for that kind of work, and that was their entire job, spending 8, 10, even 12 hours every day to get it to work. Now it's possible for ONE person, albeit a talented person who clearly has some education in the subject, to do the exact same scene in a matter of days, while also having a day job/other obligations, on a freaking game console. I am not detracting from Kenautican's talent or expertise when it comes to animation, because clearly they are superb... but it's amazing that 30 years ago, no one was sure if animating the T. Rex breakout was going to work because it had never been done before. And now, it's being recreated as a hobby in a PS game. Amazing!
Holy shit. Speechless. You have some amazing talent. Im sorry Im just discovering this project now, I randomly got your San Diego Incident short film recommended.
I entered to this video in automatic play. I didn’t see the title. In the first place, I was like: Oh, ok, the T-Rex scene from Jurassic Park. Then, when I saw you recreating it in Dreams, I couldn’t believe it. Definitely this is a way more better compared with all (yes, all) the things that Universal have done with the franchise. Stunning job. Universal, you must finance this!
This looks unbelievable considering it was made by just you. I would love to play this, can't wait till it comes out, wow. I was struck with heart dropping fear when I notice the T-Rex in the dark. I would probably freeze playing that for the first time because of how scary it looks. To think something soo large could sneak up on you with barley any time to react is a terrifying thought. Its also a nice bit of attention to detail when the character talking says anyway and carries on with his voice line after you bump him. Makes the character feel more life like and helps with immersion. And its annoying when you don't get the dialog in games due to an interruption, glad that's not the case here. Sometimes the small details matter as much as the big ones and that is an example.
I know this movie inside and out so watching this for the first time I could immediately tell this was not the scene but just barely. The frame rate and lack of impact with the foot steps were the only real giveaways. Otherwise top notch. Excellent work man.
I dunno. The jp3 cg is pretty good actually. Scaling is a little weird but thats not so much the cg. JW, Fallen Kingdom, and Dominion are all worse cg than the original 3 movies.
Very epic work, the speed that the t-rex turn to its right is perfect slow, to fast toward its blinded spot, to slow and center. Felt like original movie!

Just hands down amazing, I’m honestly floored by how far you’ve pushed the dreams engine. The ONLY thing that told me it wasn’t the actual movie was the camera panning to keep the T-REX in shot, but even then that’s because I’ve seen the original too many times to count🤣. And your fan game “Jurassic Park: Operations” looks absolutely incredible. I would pay full price to play that game and it’s a crime that Universal hasn’t contracted a major studio to make something like it. The detail, atmosphere, interactions with the other driver, the subtle noises of the prehistoric life, and of course the T-REX. I only have the minorest of tweaks and that’s just mainly on polishing the final product. You, my good sir, now have a fan that’s ready for the full ride you have in store and I couldn’t be more excited. And of course I liked, subscribed, and have notifications on. Just watched this TH-cam video but I played this scene a little over a week ago on dreams. It was an absolute masterpiece. I’ve been playing dreams since launch, and I am so pleased to see how much the game has grown in the right hands with that being said, I’ve been playing dreams since launch since day one and I’m nowhere near as good as this but I still appreciate good art. This was amazing.
Ok, first off, high praise for the end result. But secondly, I’ve ALWAYS wondered how the Rex steps out and then all of a sudden pushes a car over a cliff. I’ve never seen that production sketch before. That makes so much more sense now… it alway seemed like a continuity error to me!
The shaky vintage cam is absolutely terrifying when seeing Rexy breakout! It was PERFECT and appropriate for its time since there were only VHS recordings back then. If a Jurassic Park video game had adapted that concept as if the protagonist had survived the events of JP and recorded some footage, that would just be top notch! Either way, awesome video and AMAZING skills of yours. Thank you! 🦖🔥
I genuinely watch that begin in part and thought ‘ok so this is the original, I guess the remade comparison will play after this’….then it didn’t, that was so convincing I mistook it for the film footage 😛 And that gameplay at the end, I think this is the most polished looking dreams made game I’ve ever seen! Will definitely give it a go when your finished ☺ I hope all the work you did to make this gets noticed by industry, their missing out on a great artist and game creator!
Just checked this out yesterday in Dreams. First on screen then in VR. Was totally impressed with how this turned out. My favorite view was from inside the truck in VR. Mind blowing! Great job, and thanks for the scene breakdown.

This looks great. I knew it would take a while before the really good games started popping up in dreams. Keep up the good work and can't wait to play it.
For years now I've had a short Jurassic Park VR experience in mind. Imagine you are the cow in the first movie, strapped in the blue harness waiting to be raised up and lowered into the Raptor cage. Once inside you start to hear movement in the leaves all around and building up into a frenzy. Glimpses of them darting between the dence foliage. And then from all angles they leap out and tear you apart. Fade to red 🙂. A short, tense and terrifying experience I think
First off that animation is spot on and second off your fan game is stunning! The fact that this is all dreams is inspiring, definitely looking forward to what you have planned In the future!

Absolutely would enjoy more videos of this nature man. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing your process. Not dissimilar to my own but definitely more refined with applied patience and skill, well done! Have been eagerly hanging out for JPO in VR, any news is like feeding a starved man at this point lol
You know it's good when you watch that first clip and think it's taken from the film lol. Excellent work and kudos to the whole Jurassic Park Operations team!
Getting the layout and camera to match is by far the most difficult part. God only knows how much time I spent trying to get my version of this shot to line up.
Bro, my brain was like: "Okay so he's playing the OG video for reference and then he's gonna play his-- WAIT NO THAT'S HIS VERSION PLAYING! HOLY SHIT THAT'S GOOD." Seriously dude, you killed it. You freaking NAILED it.
The insanity, it only took 30 years but just know that the t-rex was the only cg element in the original scene, a few shots, it was mostly done with the giant animatronic. That 3d animation took the most powerful and most expensive computer hardware available in the early 90s to render one frame at a time for hours... and days ~~~~ And this is done on a ps4 10 year old hardware that is pretty much obsolete at this point. Amazing
Wow! It looks identical to the original movie! I'd love to see the same conclusion from different angles to try and imagine what the characters would've seen haha. Excellent work!
Thanks! If you play it in Dreams there are actually a few different camera angles I set up. One of them is from inside the Ford Explorer where the kids would be. You can even play it in VR and it feels like you’re in the film!
Dude, I legitimately thought that was the real scene at first, for me it was the bright colors of the vehicles that was the only giveaway, for sure most impressive creation I’ve seen in Dreams
This is so incredible! I've been wanting to do this in Blender or Unreal but this is just so cool! And with the game teaser at the end! Fans are awesome!

That camcorder puppet is especially impressive to me, I _need_ to mess around with that!
Amazing work, both on the shot and the game! Can't wait to see the finished game. Definitely gonna look into Dreams
This is truly unbelievable work. Incredibly talented. I would love to see more content like this.
How am I just now finding this? This is super cool! Nice work!
Such a great job on this. Be proud, this is an impressive amount of work.
Getting the layout and camera to match is by far the most difficult part. God only knows how much time I spent trying to get my version of this shot to line up.
I know that movie frame by frame and I almost, ALMOST thought that opening scene was from the movie.. this is amazing.
Recreating this scene really is great for new comers. The lighting makes it relatively easy to make the trex look realistic
This is absolutely amazing. Well done!!!
Well worth a sub! Excellent video
Very impressive, I cannot wait to see more from you all. Very talented group of people to watch right here.
Bro, my brain was like: "Okay so he's playing the OG video for reference and then he's gonna play his-- WAIT NO THAT'S HIS VERSION PLAYING! HOLY SHIT THAT'S GOOD."
Seriously dude, you killed it.
The music at the end being from the very original teaser is such a cool touch
Dude, I legitimately thought that was the real scene at first, for me it was the bright colors of the vehicles that was the only giveaway, for sure most impressive creation I’ve seen in Dreams
I just keep having moments while watching this where I'm just "wow, Jurassic Park is such a good movie."
This is so incredible! I've been wanting to do this in Blender or Unreal but this is just so cool! And with the game teaser at the end! Fans are awesome!
