this was a helpful guide and i'm very thankful you talked about the different curl patterns and hijabs, but it has missed a good opportunity for two things: i wish you could have mentioned a problem that has been talked about in the Black hair community of buying products made and targeted for Black hair and Black audiences and advise people to be a considerated consumer on this issue, especially after the Mielle oil situation which you referred in the video using a straight hair picture as a reference. the other thing is not everyone who is pregnant is a women. it would have been better to use the term "pregnant people" as it is inclusive to the transgender community. i appreciate the team's hardwork put into this, just wish you could have mentioned and used these terms, as it would have been more inclusive to people who are oppressed and misrepresented and sensitive to social issues within the hair community.

WAVY HAIR GIRLS: we have a complicated hair type. don’t expect the hair care techniques for straight hair to work on you, if anything it needs to be closer to the curly hair care. i don’t fault peachie for not giving advice for wavy hair specifically because even hair experts sometimes just treat wavy hair like it’s straight! also, wavy hair will be frizzy when you brush it and in humidity even if it isn’t damaged. it’s frustrating and tricky but i’m sure we can find good techniques eventually!!
another thing: if you have high porosity wavy hair but your hair strands are not very thick, opt for a serum rather than an oil or gels, because those heavy products will weigh your hair down and make the waves fall out. just leaving my discoveries here in case anyone else finds them useful 😄

I have started following this routine right when the video came out. Additionally to the basic routine, I started hair oiling with rosemary amd lavender oil and switched my hair brush to one with boar bristles. 9:18 You have no idea how much and for how long I've been searching for some answer to this problem of mine. My hair is a little more on the finer side, but I didn't understand why I've been waking up everyday with my hair smelling bad, when I never skip hair days and have been following the same routine consistently! It makes so much more sense that it's caused by overproduction of sebum, I never thought it was something I could actually fix. Another tip - if you need an antifungal, Nizoral shampoo has it. Zinc is good for skin so if you're using Head&Shoulders shampoo with zinc, you can leave it on for 10min before rinsing out. Head&Shoulders also have (or used to anyway) another type with something different in it instead of zinc (can't remember what though sorry) which can help with some scalp conditions. You have to check the ingredients, most of them are zinc and one I think specifically said anti dandruff and that had the different ingredient. Lavender essential oil and tea tree essential oil are both antibacterial and antifungal, you can dilute them in a carrier oil (never use neat) a few drops per teaspoon of carrier oil (eg almond or olive, carrier oils are any ones ok to use direct onto skin) and massage into your scalp to see if that helps your issue. Original Source make shampoos, I've never tried them but I swear by their Tea Tree And Mint shower gel to help stop my eczema flaring up or getting infected. Hope you can manage to sort your problem out with the dermatologist help

About the achne in scalp, make sure to go to a dermatologist, because you may have an autoinmune disease named folliculitis decalvans and may make all of your hair fall. It can be treated with good hair care and avoiding stress but it can't be cured
Peachie is back with another masterpiece TYSM 🌷✨ my hair was on the verge of becoming Barbie hair, you r a life saver.I love your videos it’s going to help me in my glowupp era thanks!
I think I have a sensitive scalp. When I was young, I used to wash my hair and condition it every night, and I had long healthy hair. If I skipped one or two days my scalp would feel oily and started hurting, redness, and later on in life folliculitis. I actually still hadn't made the connection of keeping a clean and clear scalp, and I actually go about a week before washing my hair, (because I was told I need to let my scalps natural oils do their thing...) Paired with this I've also dealt with different health issues and stress and have been struggling with hair loss and thin brittle hair. I am praying that this information plays a large part in my hair's come back. Thank you so much!
Same sis, but trust me it'll work, I have seen many videos and read dozens of articles and research to improve my hair, then i got to knw about hair porosity and am working products acc to it , my hair texture has improved, bt dear peachie has covered almost everything and by starting little by little you will definitely see results. Today i knw that my scalp is sensitive.... so will try accordingly..hope that helps with shedding and increasing hair density gradually. So yeah it'll work.... I'm still far away from what my hairs used to be....bt one day they will shine again✨😅 "Consistency is the key" Good luck for your journey too♥️
@@user--_-_-_-_-_ Thank you so much for the encouragement! Lol I'm working on that "Consistency" all the time. I also looked back in photo's to see what shampoo I was using at the time, when I had long hair. It was Suave Shampoo and Conditioner (Strawberry scented in the photo) I'm definitely going to stick with this new regiment. Good luck on your journey too! ☺❤
Omg PLEASE do one of these for skincare!!! Like I already use a multi-step routine, gua sha, etc, but after seeing this video, I'm convinced you would still have so much more insight than whatever I've been able to learn on my own so far. Seriously. This video changed my life. I have low-porosity hair and had no idea until I watched this video. I could never understand why conditioner and even hair masks seemed to do nothing for me. I've been using steam while conditioning ever since, and my hair feels soft and moisturized for the first time in my LIFE.
Oh my goodness, the timing of this video is just magical i never really did anything with my hair and i just had my first keratin treatment amd now i am obsessed with improving my hair ,i am so happy that i have a guide now ❤❤❤
for low porosity girlies who are still looking for a budget friendly conditioner... I found a perfect one!! Its from andrelon and its called hydration & volume. It has no sulfates, and the top 5 best hair oils are in there + no coconut oil or shea butter!!! it is perfect!!!!!
you guys have to know if your hair is damaged, if you start to do haircare your hair won't change on the next day, it's a long way to have healthy hair again, but if you really put effort on it, the results will be faster. i started doing haircare like 7 months ago and my hair has been really healthy (i had VERY dry hair, no shine, no movement). my hair is not 100% healthy but thats why i keep doing haircare so my hair its healthier everyday. just make sure you buy the right products for your type of hair and products that will help for your needs. i've know people that had damaged hair and their hair become healthy again 3 years later with the right haircare and constancy. so, if you see that your hair it's taking a while to heal, just keep doing the right steps! you'll see a big difference :)
@@khushiverma5938 i cut my hair, brush it carefully, using products for my type of hair (for example, if you have curly hair use special products for curly hair, or if you have it dry, use products that will hydrate the hair). stop using heat on your hair, search for hair routines, braid your hair for sleep or use a hair bonnet, don't use tight hairstyles, oil your hair, dont brush it too often, cut the split ends, etc.
@@metalvideofan I'm not sure but I have dry scalp and split ends get too often. normally I apply oil after washing and keep it throughout the week bout I'm confused should I oil my hair before washing or apply after washing
@@khushiverma5938 I think both! of course not putting too much or your hair will be oily, but you could apply a hair mask with oil in wet hair before washing your hair leaving it for 10 min. maybe that will help, you can use a leave in that will seal the tips too. and if you have dry scalp you shouldn't wash it too often, and cut that split ends or they will open more :/ i have little split ends and every moment i can, i cut them.
Hair is my attention getter. When I'm wearing ponytail, only few recognizes me and compliments me I look clean. But girl I'm telling you, when my hair is down men keeps looking at me and approaching me. I luvvvv my hair cuz it's wavy, looking similar to a blowout 🎉❤
Girl u r very lucky..I hv thick hair but very dull and lustreless..no matter wt I try there's no shine to it.. n I cnt leave my hair open I look like a lion if I don't use straightener😪
Oh my gosh, thank you so so so much for including hijab wearing girls! I myself as a hijabi been experiencing hair problems and this video is a life saver for me! The inclusiveness made me light up to the brim!!
I'm really grateful for this video.....I wish there r more videos like this (for e.g.-beauty supplements, bodycare, or personal perfume scent notes).....♡♡♡♡♡
For perfume, get as many of those tiny samples as you can, even ones marketed to men. Create a spreadsheet and list each scent, along with the notes listed in Fragrantica and how much you like the scent. Then you can look at the perfumes you liked best and see which notes they have in common, and you’ll be able to tell what kind of perfumes you’re into so it’ll be easier to find the ones you want to buy full bottles of.
It was helpful. Not only did she provide tips, but she also shared information regarding hair. I learned a lot about my hair. Looking forward to it. As you said, consistency is key!
before watching this. It turns out I have done the hair care tips correctly. I washed my hair exactly as described, but when I finished applying the hair mask, I combed my hair slowly. I actually do 5 steps 1. combing 2. shampooing 3. hairmask/conditioner 4. hair oil/leave in conditioner 5. blowdry. and I got better results. because in the past my hair was really damaged. now they are improving 😍 and my hair type is 2A (wavy)
I didn't know my scalp was sensitive. My scalp would feel really itchy after washing it, so I thought it was just dryness. Using Vanicream shampoo was a game-changer for me. I'm happy to see it made it in the video and I definitely recommend trying it.
So I learned I have an oily scalp medium hair damage and high porasity hair and 2b hair. I’m going to look for tools and hair care that’s suitable for me personally thank you dear peachie
They did not quite clarify ideal options for one hair type which is fine with medium or hair porosity. Heavy oils and creams will make the hair instantly greasy. For ingredients you want to use aloe, honey, distilled water, argan oil, keratin/silk/protein [can easily diy an egg hair mask], and acids or a diy salt scrub for the scalp. You can do each of these ingredient diy in hair masks, rinses and buy in products, even styling products. Hope this helps.
God I needed this video 5 years back when my hair were so damaged and thin. I have mildly oily scalp and thin dry ends (also I had layer cut like 3 times making my ends look too thin🥹) ...but now it's kinda better these 2 years...my hair pattern when I was in 6th grade was 1C or 2A and remained that way till I got layers and damaged my hair with rough shampoos. My hair got so rough and freezy that their hair pattern changed to literally curls...not that I hate curls but I hated the damaged hair...but now they are like 2B and sometimes 2C...wavy hair. I think consistency is key which I'm struggling to manage but I hope I get my dream length. And I pray all our hair get better and more healthy ❤
As a person with oily scalp and used to have EXTREME greasy dandruff and even Psoriasis at some point I’m taking a medicine that prevents oil production in scalp and skin under medical console ofc and it does WONDERS so if u have similar problem consider consulting a dermatologist i hope that helps!

Is it just me? I have heard many times (there are plenty of videos etc. covering this topic) that the method with the jar to find your poriosity is not reliable and you shouldn't do it to determine your type of hair
19:44 finally someone said it. I have combination scalp, and im a sweaty girl in tropical country, automaticly the oil went to even my neck and ears, causing danddruf. I never listen to anybody that says "dont wash your hair everyday, its bla3". I need to wash it because i get oily easily, especially in the morning, my face and upper scalp is an oil factory in the morning, so at nighr sometimes i dont wash it, except i do exercise, i wash only with luke warm water for a couple min, and end it with cold water
dude that's me too.....fr but washing hair everyday i'm facing severe hairfall maybe it's just my shampoo.......CAN U PLS SUGGEST ME SOME SHAMPOO'S THAT U USE..💖💖
@@jimjamjimjamjim I use Diane extra volume and scalp with the same conditioner. But I suggest you check your water if ITS a hard water or check to a doctor if you have scalp issues
I always swear by natural Henna masks for the hair. It is the ultimate scalp detox. After using it weekly, my hair is now growing shiny and healthy. It’s basically a mud mask for hair, I used to have so much dandruff, dry itchy scalp and my hair would get oily quickly. Onec I stated henna, it instantly got rid of all the dandruff and my hair stays soft and shiny for longer between washes. 10/10 recommend.
The video is mostly about scalp care. Here's some tips I have for shiny smooth hair as someone with straight and fairly thin hair. 1. Massage your scalp daily for about 5 minutes. It'll help encourage growth 2. Wash only your scalp with head and shoulders shampoo (it helps with acne and it's just a good shampoo generally). There's no need to shampoo the ends of your hair as it will dry them out. 3. Heavily coat the bottom of your hair with conditioner and leave in during your shower for like 5 mins 4. After wash use a tiny amount of Moroccan oil and put some in the ends of your hair (it's cheap u can get it in Walmart or Costco) 5. Use a leave in conditioner (I personally use Odele). These tips obviously won't work for everyone but if you have a similar hair type to me then it should help. I believe Moroccan oil is good for a variety of people though because I heard many kdrama stars use it. After doing this routine my hair has become a lot softer and shinier. Other tips: 1. I heard rice water helps though it may depend on hair type and how long you use it for. I tried it once and it made my hair slightly frizzy so I'm not sure if it helps. Worth trying though. 2. store bought hair masks are also good. Find one that matches your hair type and it will help a lot 3. Hair damage or frizziness can be caused by heat damage as well. So make sure you always put in a heat protectant spray when straighting or curling your hair Hope any of this helps! ❤
I appreciate this video so so much. I’ve been struggling to find a good routine for my hair and this has made so many things more clear. That said I wouldn’t hate a possible follow up video on proper conditioning techniques, deep conditioning dos and donts, and hair oils and how to properly use them. Nonetheless I’m super grateful you made this in depth video.
The video was so good I loved the tips!💞💞 Although I just have a few concerns: What are the benefits of oiling before hair washing? It is actually beneficial? If yes, how long before the wash should I oil my hair? I have high porosity hair and they dry out a lot so will oiling before wash help?
dearpeachie, THANK YOU! I don't think you know this, but you are solving all my life problems right now. I am genuinely grateful for your channel. Keep up the good work! ❤❤
Very good video. Now I know a lot about my hair et and I will finally be able to take care of it properly. I learned a lot ! Thank you for the tests, quizzes etc. and for this very deep and mindful work👍👏
i cannot imagine the amount of research required for this video. for my natural hair, i usually try to research these topics myself (time consuming), but i luckily came across this video!
This video is literally a life saver! But I have a question… do we use a hair mask and a conditioner or do we just use one or the other? And if we use both how are we supposed to apply it. Again thank you so much for this video ❤
My hairstylist taught me that the hair mask is for moisturising the hair and the conditioner is after the mask, to close the cuticles and lock in the moisture 😊 so both would be recommended I think but not sure how often
Based on what I understand from the vid, I guess both hair conditioner and hair mask are quite similar in action but just that the hair mask has a richer content than conditioner. so u may use conditioner on a daily basis and mask 1-2 times weekly.
I just started using your advice on how to wash my hair and I felt the difference, my scalp is very oily I’ll buy a cleanser shampoo for weekly use so my scalp can breath again

I think I have a sensitive scalp. When I was young, I used to wash my hair and condition it every night, and I had long healthy hair. If I skipped one or two days my scalp would feel oily and started hurting, redness, and later on in life folliculitis.
I actually still hadn't made the connection of keeping a clean and clear scalp, and I actually go about a week before washing my hair, (because I was told I need to let my scalps natural oils do their thing...)
Paired with this I've also dealt with different health issues and stress and have been struggling with hair loss and thin brittle hair.
I'm still far away from what my hairs used to be....bt one day they will shine again✨😅
"Consistency is the key"
Good luck for your journey too♥️
@@user--_-_-_-_-_ Thank you so much for the encouragement! Lol I'm working on that "Consistency" all the time.
I also looked back in photo's to see what shampoo I was using at the time, when I had long hair. It was Suave Shampoo and Conditioner (Strawberry scented in the photo)
I'm definitely going to stick with this new regiment. Good luck on your journey too! ☺❤
Dear peachie, your'e such a bestie always there when we need most
Omg PLEASE do one of these for skincare!!!
This video is the most complete in the web honestly. Thank you. ❤
GIIIIRRRLLLLL!!!!!! Can you do a video about how to find THE PERFECT SKIN CARE???
Ya please make one😊❤
Oh my goodness, the timing of this video is just magical i never really
did anything with my hair and i just had my first keratin treatment amd now i am obsessed with improving my hair ,i am so happy that i have a guide now ❤❤❤
✨ Dry scalp type : SLES is okay but not SLS
✨Need hydration : mildly acidic shampoo - hyaluronic acid, gluco peptide , cermides
✨Deep cleanse once a week
✨ Nourishing mask weekly
✨ Serum for hair growth must contain:- caffeine, biotin, peptide , keratin, vitamin
✨ For Dry Hair :Rich creamy, emollient rich conditioners
: Leave in conditioner
: Shampoo with hydrolyzed wheat , keratin,
: Oils like castor oil , Shea butter, olive oil
for low porosity girlies who are still looking for a budget friendly conditioner... I found a perfect one!! Its from andrelon and its called hydration & volume. It has no sulfates, and the top 5 best hair oils are in there + no coconut oil or shea butter!!! it is perfect!!!!!
you guys have to know if your hair is damaged, if you start to do haircare your hair won't change on the next day, it's a long way to have healthy hair again, but if you really put effort on it, the results will be faster. i started doing haircare like 7 months ago and my hair has been really healthy (i had VERY dry hair, no shine, no movement). my hair is not 100% healthy but thats why i keep doing haircare so my hair its healthier everyday. just make sure you buy the right products for your type of hair and products that will help for your needs. i've know people that had damaged hair and their hair become healthy again 3 years later with the right haircare and constancy. so, if you see that your hair it's taking a while to heal, just keep doing the right steps! you'll see a big difference :)
what you did to make your hair healthy again and also I don't understand which hair product can be good for me
@@khushiverma5938 i cut my hair, brush it carefully, using products for my type of hair (for example, if you have curly hair use special products for curly hair, or if you have it dry, use products that will hydrate the hair). stop using heat on your hair, search for hair routines, braid your hair for sleep or use a hair bonnet, don't use tight hairstyles, oil your hair, dont brush it too often, cut the split ends, etc.
@@metalvideofan I'm not sure but I have dry scalp and split ends get too often. normally I apply oil after washing and keep it throughout the week bout I'm confused should I oil my hair before washing or apply after washing
@@khushiverma5938 I think both! of course not putting too much or your hair will be oily, but you could apply a hair mask with oil in wet hair before washing your hair leaving it for 10 min. maybe that will help, you can use a leave in that will seal the tips too. and if you have dry scalp you shouldn't wash it too often, and cut that split ends or they will open more :/ i have little split ends and every moment i can, i cut them.
probably the best hair care advice video i have come across, summed up every issue and helped be aware about my scalp type and hair wash routine!
Girl u r very lucky..I hv thick hair but very dull and lustreless..no matter wt I try there's no shine to it.. n I cnt leave my hair open I look like a lion if I don't use straightener😪
this is literally the best hair care video i have ever watched! i learned so much from this video :)
Like.....a girl walks by.....and u go ..oh that girl is definitely lavender vanilla girly....u k what I'm trying to say.....
Thankkkkkk youuuuu❤❤❤❤
Who came here to see the reel ? Thanks Video is so much helpful ❤
I really want the hair like in thumbnail, I literally gasped seeing them they're so dreamy masha Allah
It was helpful. Not only did she provide tips, but she also shared information regarding hair. I learned a lot about my hair. Looking forward to it. As you said, consistency is key!
so proud to see that I'm already doing everything right in my hair care 💕
Did it work ???
The way I’ve been abusing my scalp for years 😭😭 thank you for this video!!
oddly, watching this video didn't feel like an hour has passed. been particularly concerned with my hair lately, so this video's perfect ^^
literally the timing is gold
before watching this.
Wow wow wow!! This is the best video that I've seen on internet!! Is so well done, bravo👏👏👏. Every day you only get better and better. 🤩🤩
@@LotusesGalaxyOcean thank you so much, I have medium porosity fine hair and was struggling on what to use. This was very informative🥰🥰
for egg hair masks i recommend eggs and coffee (because the antioxidants and for it to remove the smell)
This came at the right time. I'm on my hair journey and I need this so much. Thank you!❤
God I needed this video 5 years back when my hair were so damaged and thin.
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ALOT THEY'RE SO HELPFUL AND ALSO YOU WERE A BIG PART OF MY GLOW UP JOURNEY (I'M SO EARLY OMLLLL)
i subscribed. i now know that my hair type is dry and not oily. thank you for taking the time and effort for this video peachie
She is here again to save lives
I didnt see the hijab wearing girls part coming at all😭❤
Thank you so much
Whenever I’m struggling with something beauty-related, you always seem to post what I’m looking for at the right time! You’re my actual fairy godmother 😂💖
This is the best hair video I've ever seen!!! That's a lot of wonderful information!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I texted my girl friends asking them for hair growth advice and i didn’t receive a reply in 30 minutes and couldn’t wait so I went to TH-cam and wrote ‘dear peachie hair’ and you posted this video 😍😍😍 thank you for your work 🩷
Omg u manifested the video 😂 I wish u manifested your dream hair too ❤
Is it just me? I have heard many times (there are plenty of videos etc. covering this topic) that the method with the jar to find your poriosity is not reliable and you shouldn't do it to determine your type of hair
I thought that now surely im gonna get bald then dear peachie drop this video💕🙏
Dear peachie, could you make a tutorial for a glam low visual weight makeup. Every glam look always looks too heavy on me😢
It actually works! My dandruff is gone and my hair fall reduced…thx a lot dear peachie 💝
The video is mostly about scalp care. Here's some tips I have for shiny smooth hair as someone with straight and fairly thin hair.
1. Massage your scalp daily for about 5 minutes. It'll help encourage growth
2. Wash only your scalp with head and shoulders shampoo (it helps with acne and it's just a good shampoo generally). There's no need to shampoo the ends of your hair as it will dry them out.
3. Heavily coat the bottom of your hair with conditioner and leave in during your shower for like 5 mins
4. After wash use a tiny amount of Moroccan oil and put some in the ends of your hair (it's cheap u can get it in Walmart or Costco)
Other tips:
1. I heard rice water helps though it may depend on hair type and how long you use it for. I tried it once and it made my hair slightly frizzy so I'm not sure if it helps. Worth trying though.
2. store bought hair masks are also good. Find one that matches your hair type and it will help a lot
3. Hair damage or frizziness can be caused by heat damage as well. So make sure you always put in a heat protectant spray when straighting or curling your hair
Hope any of this helps! ❤
thank you so so so much for including problems and solutions related to wearing a hijab!!!
I took notes of everything I needed for my hair. Thankyou soo much ❤
I appreciate this video so so much.
The video was so good I loved the tips!💞💞
Although I just have a few concerns:
What are the benefits of oiling before hair washing?
It is actually beneficial?
If yes, how long before the wash should I oil my hair?
I have high porosity hair and they dry out a lot so will oiling before wash help?
needed this so bad. thanks Dear Peachie ❤
Thank you for including the hijab parts 😭😭 That is so sweet
Literally a science lesson..but for hair 💁♀️💞💇♀️
This was absolutely amazing. I will tell every girl I know to watch this. Thanks!
I’m not a muslim but i really appreciated u for considering hijabes. 👑
dearpeachie, THANK YOU! I don't think you know this, but you are solving all my life problems right now. I am genuinely grateful for your channel. Keep up the good work! ❤❤
Very good video. Now I know a lot about my hair et and I will finally be able to take care of it properly. I learned a lot ! Thank you for the tests, quizzes etc. and for this very deep and mindful work👍👏
I recommend rosemary water and oil to those with sensitive scalp like me. It nourishes the hair and scalp!!!
This video was extremely informative. I learned a lot from this video, I appreciate it! You did such a good job.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR AGES.... LET'S GO!!!
THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
This is more informative than those Tiktok gurus who claim that those 50+ haircare products are the best.
i cannot imagine the amount of research required for this video. for my natural hair, i usually try to research these topics myself (time consuming), but i luckily came across this video!
I saw the yt short and I RAN
Omg this is EXACTLY what I needed, thank u so much!
A 58 minute video?!!!!! Yessiirrrr
Pls make a video on how to remove dandruff...pls pls....it humble request......
OMG!!! THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT I FREAKIN NEED. TY SO MUCH!!!
Dearpeachie said you are GOING TO GLOWUP!!!!!
I just started using your advice on how to wash my hair and I felt the difference, my scalp is very oily I’ll buy a cleanser shampoo for weekly use so my scalp can breath again
