I remember being so lost when I first started wearing makeup because every tutorial assumed the audience already knew all the terms tools and techniques. When this is what I needed.
spreading foundation from innter to outer region trick is the the best trick ive ever learned. its so simple yet make huge difference. i dont even use contour anymore
a tip: hyarulone binds water a bit, so if u have extra dry skin, you can leave you face a little bit wet after washing it before applying a water-based lotion (a lot of them have hyarulone). i've noticed it helps skin to absorb the lotion and moisture a bit better. (doesn't work with oil-based lotion though as water and oil cannot mix)
This is exactly the makeup I always do!! I just change my lipstick colors (light muted colors for daily and dark red or berry colors for party/occasions). I just never wear mascara or falsies, I find that curled eyelashes and falsies don’t suit my face😭
I still use way too much foundation, thats mainly because of my always red & shiny nose. 🤡 But it won't stay during the day no matter how much foundation & powder I use, so I think maybe only using cc primer and powder on the nose is better. 😅
If you can afford it, a green base (like a primer or green concealer, I've heard the elf one is good!). I personally use cicapair(?) from Dr jart and it reduces my rosacea a lot
oh and also for the shiny not wanting to stay part, a sticky primer (milk hydrogrip or for a cheaper version the elf dupe, I forgot what it's called.) this'll grip the makeup so it won't get all seperaty and all that
it`s always best to apply a light layer of foundation all over the face (maybe skip the eye area to prevent creasing), and then layer more foundation or even concealer on areas that need more coverage. I also have a very red nose and learnt that caking on foundation/concealer doesn`t help the issue, so it`s best to go multiple thin layers for better coverage. You can also integrate the previous tip with color correcting into this application technique too!
I saw A LOT of makeup videos, i experimented with makeup, i tried a lot makeup, and still looks horrible, i dont know what im doing wrong, my makeup looks ugly, and it makes me sad, i just want to have cute makeup :(
Can you please do another video on visual weight. I have a prominent face, with soft features. I feel like im both equally low and high visual weight, but im not sure if there's a in-between😅

Good tip, I do it the same way. but I use glycerol (not pure, not more than 30 %), because I read it can hydrate even better than hyalorone.
I like the translation you did of li / hazels name! Your vodeos are always so high quality.
