They played this song right after the full album. There will be more shows... trust me I've seen them a bunch... probably my 7th show of theirs.
Like so many hardcore fans of The Crowes, I simply loved marc Ford. In fact the only guy that didn't fit (in my humble opinion), was Jackie? he's a heck of a nice nice guy, a very good singer & overall, a wonderful talent. I just didn't love his styIe and did not think he & Rich had great chemistry. For my money, I will always believe the most dis-respected & under-appreciated player they ever had, was Audley. That poor soul had about the same chance of being accepted, as the next Patriots QB, after Tom Brady decides to hang em up in N.E. Everyone hated on freed, even, before even hearing him, b/c they were so upset Marc was gone. Funny thing is, if you ask a bunch of other great players about Audley, they have nothing but the highest of praise.......including Jimmy Page himself.
These guys remind me of the bands I used to listen to in the 70s ... I guess that's why I love this band so much.. seen them at Churchill Downs in 2010 along with 60 plus other bands..but these guys were the best!!!
Your experience with the Crowes almost exactly mirrors mine. SOUTHERN HARMONY was the album that really got me into them and I still think its one of the best rock albums ever. And you're right, FROST/FREEZE was a revelation. I really want to hear what they're going to come up with next.
I recall seeing the Crowes in NYC when they were testing this Album War Paint it was such a amazing experience to listen to New Music from this band and yeah it took a few listens but Man once it hit you No Gojng back. Such great song writers and musicians..Respect meet these guy upfront in person on their first Australian as I was a Music Photographer downunder . GREAT guys..Love them

It was magical, but dont even compare this to the tabernacle run in atlanta or the fillmore san fancisco run or the ultimate fonda run in hollywood run of 2005. I was at every one of those shows.
This track has slowly become a top 20 Crowes tune for me...maybe? All I know is that it's a great little guitar riff play repeats throughout & a live track that Chris really shines on.
First time I saw the Crowe’s was at the Channel club In Boston hung out and drank some beers with Johnny Colt their bassist at the time been a Crowe’s fan ever since just an incredible band been getting into this live album I got over in Germany ✌️❤️🎶

Holy shit, the song is good but that guitar part, the whole second half, is just mind-blowing.
In my opinion this is the best iteration of the crowes. Top of their game and one of their best performances.
