Absolutely Black Crows….. and Rich clearly made it his own for about 8 minutes. Every song they write as a band is completely thought out and rehearsed a thousand times before we hear them. Now they are living legends, like the Stones. Be good to yourself fellas, in 2021 there ain’t nobody to replace y’all Georgia Born
Better than the original from where my ears and I are standing. Steve Gorman walks the dog on this one like the best college point-guard on the court - not flashy but still running the whole damn show with a straight face and a smoking gun.
Luther was brilliant on this, the Hey Jude lic's fit in beautifully too bad it was at the end of his break would of liked to see where he would of taken it!!!
Amorica - Womb of the Free Ooops I’m old and the eyes 👀 and Rich is on the left. Great upload ....as usual. The piano is nice even if it’s not Mr McMuffin. Lou Reed?
ive seen every lineup of the crowes over the last 25 years. the luther era was the mountain top. after eddie. the combo of the luther and gorman, arguably in the top 3 of their respective professions with the maestro rich in full charge and chris not to high to perform because this lineup was a higher high! was as good as it gets. i was there many nights. i cant even go see them now good they were then.
The brothers’s Robinson need to bring their asses south and do some shows. Bring that badass guitarist Luther Campbell with ya. Great rendition of Velvet Underground.
Same chord progression as Can’t you see, Marshall Tucker Band. Might even be the same key. Only slower .Super conducive to a good extended jam.. Can’t decide which I prefer. It’s probably the one I listened to last.
@@AmoricaWombofthefree - I didn't think so. It seems like they'll play the 1st record front to back and mix in some greatest hits tracks. Who knows....
good 2 see them al gettin fatter , i mean its good not bieng skinny anyymore . health n al that cracky things them boys used thado . i mean its alright still waitin on them boys new album , but still its good ! thank yall BC
Luther and that Gibson......guitar heaven. Soul-stirring.
Rich with that SG ,so well played and more!!!
That's as good as Rock n' Roll gets.
Saw this song being performed at the Hollywood palladium for the first time in 2010… blown away ….Best version of this song in existence!!
it is one of the greatest underappreciated songs. Great cover.
One of the greatest under appreciated bands.
I stumbled across this one and now have two blistering renditions beyond the original: this one & checkout the vocals on a David Johansen version.
@@AngusmacTV Johansen is better...
@@bulonbulon4888 I didn't want to offend Black Crows fans but... yes, I agree 100%.
This is probably the best version they did of this. Love the way they throw in licks from Can’t Find My Way Home and Hey Jude.
Dear Mr. Fantasy
for me the version on the DVD Cabin Fever is better, this one is also great

Georgia Born
Except they didn't write this song.
And that's Luther Dickinson from North Mississippi Allstars melting your face not Rich
I think this is Luther Dickinson on lead guitar. Love how he breaks into "Hey Jude" near the end of the solo.
Without a doubt ... ;)

Ty I've been trying to figure that out man✌️
Me too!!! I'm just here to express the very same sentiment, oh my,oh my, wowwy wow wow😁😁😁🫠🫠🫠
Luther is really great!
Tears in my eyes and chills up and down my spine.
That’s the first thing that happened to me hearing them on this one….. a little choked up without truly knowing why at first
SPECTACULAR!!!
Thank you my Brother.
Roarke Tuhkanen
You guys Rock.
Brilliant southern rock version of this amazing VU song. Black crowes make this song their own . Hey Jude intrude is a great improvisation
They should do an album of the Velvets. Especially after listening to this. I'm sure Lou would have been proud.
El deberia. Lo malo es que Lou consideraba que los beatles no tenian talento.
Pero esta version es buenisima.
Agreed 💯
Such a beautiful song! That Hey Jude cameo's great
I can't get enough of this song
Superb!!!
All videos need to be made this way.
What a phenomenal rendition of this song.
wow, caught me by surprise. what a fantastic cover!!!
Better than the original from where my ears and I are standing. Steve Gorman walks the dog on this one like the best college point-guard on the court - not flashy but still running the whole damn show with a straight face and a smoking gun.
Love this song it such a good jam
Not just standard jamming, this is clean riffing, spirited, ripping top notch guitar work. Massive tip of the hat for a stunning effort.
The brothers beyond amazing ♥️ Great song 🎵🎶🎸
Lou was still alive when they covered this VU classic!!
Long live the Crowes
I don’t know how they all didn’t come out of that solo playing hey Jude. I woulda totally lost track and followed him there
every hear the Grateful Dead...
How many artists “borrowed” licks and chords from this classic over the years.
Performed beautifully here.
Damn I love this song!

@@FireFighter0254 Hey, when is the Atlanta concert? I live in the Panhandle of Florida and I could probably make it.
That bass player is EVERYTHING! And the keyboard player knows how to riff a fill?
My god just brilliant 👏
I love this video. Can’t say no more.❤
🥰🥰🥰 *~ Such An Intimate FEEL ~* 🤩🤩🤩
The versión at the cabin with Luther is the Best great band.
Exactly right. In that version Luther channeled Duane Allman with incredible slide work
Absolutely......he made that Gibson cry.......
Epic version 🎸🎼🎶🕶️
Beautiful!! Sounds a lot like Can’t You See by Marshall Tucker Band.
Outstanding indeed...thats actually an old Velvet Underground song.
I love Rich singing
Perfect marriage for a classic and a great band
Much Crowe Love
I love them
Audience certainly loved those solos, and now we do too.
Magnificent… They can All Play…
Luther was brilliant on this, the Hey Jude lic's fit in beautifully too bad it was at the end of his break would of liked to see where he would of taken it!!!
Ed sounds great. This was a great run missed this night and never saw this classic. Love Lou love Rich.
Uhmmm.. That's not Ed...
Amorica - Womb of the Free Ooops I’m old and the eyes 👀 and Rich is on the left. Great upload ....as usual. The piano is nice even if it’s not Mr McMuffin. Lou Reed?

Named my DynaGlide Sweet Nuthin', She likes it..
Lou Reed unknowingly wrote this for 'The Black Crowes'
Was that a bit of Hey Jude I heard in there? At about 5:10?
Yes, it was.
My God, how incredible is Rich Robinson !!
❤U❤U❤U❤
The cabin fever/ before the frost and warpaint area Black Crowes is unbelievable..
No Ford. Sorry.

These guys are the suns of Lou Reed & Velvets - both musically & DNA wise.. very wise OMG...
The brothers’s Robinson need to bring their asses south and do some shows. Bring that badass guitarist Luther Campbell with ya.
Great rendition of Velvet Underground.
Luther Dickinson
I think Luther Campbell was 2 Live Crew!😅😅
.. rebirthed.. got better, the layers unfold, bring it to a predictable needed crascendo!
Steve Gorman RAWKS!!!!!
Yep…

Why is this show from an alternate universe where rich is on stage right?
Lou Reed unknowingly wrote this gem for the Black Crowes. Luther is amazing, but i miss Marc Ford
420th like, sweeeeet
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
A little Dear Mr Fantasy lick in there at the beginning.
Damn. I said almost the exact thing before scrolling down further to see your comment!
I would like to hear Lou Reed do his own songs
Ladies and Gentlemen! oh my!
Why did apple delete this song off my phone?
Busty bust bust buster roo
haha,Hey Jude at 5:12 is silky smooth
I seen them do this a lot, wondering why Rich doesn't join in
Rich is singing and plays the middle riff? What r u referring to
This is great but I still prefer the original raw and unpolished sound. I also miss the excellent drum fills in the original version....
BS commercial right in the middle of the song. Real class
Any chance they play this live on the 2020 Brothers Only Tour?
Don’t count on it.. sorry
@@AmoricaWombofthefree - I didn't think so. It seems like they'll play the 1st record front to back and mix in some greatest hits tracks. Who knows....
Not in a million years. Vegas has it off the board.
We all were wrong. They played it in Camden NJ August 2021
