BETOOTA HOTEL // R22 Chopper // 1942 Ford Jeep - EP. 59

Our plans to travel down to Innamincka and Cameron Corner are squashed due to the recent bad weather. We decide to set ourselves up at one of Australia’s iconic Outback Pubs, The Betoota Hotel. We kick back have a few Melbourne Cup beers and also take a ride in the legendary 1942 Ford Jeep. We also admire the talents of young Clayton, a local Ringer from Windorah land his R22 Chopper in heavy South West winds. We kick on with Robbo the owner and right-hand man Sauce into the evening which turned out to a truly a memorable experience.

Another great videos, thanks again guys. I grew up with a Willys Jeep, the bloody cantankerous troublesome old monster. I think you would just need to recharge the little jump starter, they are only good for one or two starts.

To make sure I had enough sustained grunt in a jumpstarter for my 200, I bought a 3000A JS80 from that company in Perth !!. To be honest, I was surprised to see the big V8 started once by a 400A jumpstarter. Good video though, I look forward to calling into Betoota next time I do the Simpson.
