I love this watch as it is refreshingly different. For the past two years, new releases have tended to be more of the same. The finishing on this watch seems to be outstanding. I agree with the comment on the text being overdone, but that is about it for me. I would have liked to see this about $150 cheaper, but one needs to remember that this is Swiss made. Thanks for the review.
I mean it's a nice watch but nothing really says new and exciting and at $900 I'm dangerously close to Longines Hydroconquest or a Mido/Tissot/Hamilton with money back gray market.
I should clarify that we were originally looking at a choice between an SW200 and the STP 1-11, in the early days this was a clear choice. But when we saw the STP 1-21, the crispness and precision of the movement changed our mind, my experience in product development is that quality of execution usually translates into performance. What we are consistently seeing is an accuracy of minus 0 to plus 5 seconds, we understand that this is a new movement and the 1-11 had some issues. But I think this will prove in the long run to be better than the SW200.
I agree, they should have gone with a flat sapphire. Flat sapphires are better for tool watches in general and they help keep the watch case slim. Besides that, I like the watch. Not sure about the company name but the logo is cool.
Nicely executed with impressive detailing but far too much text. With no date it becomes an expensive occasional wear and as such it doesn't need to be automatic. As a hand wind it could slimmer
I agree with you on just about every point, and I think that this is a particularly nice looking debut watch. Design, colors, finishing are similarly all to my taste. Like you, I'd like to see less wording on the dial. I especially dislike the cheap and generic-looking WEM text, which unfortunately was the first feature to catch my eye. But I don't at all mind the little fins on the hour hand.
Hi Jay, I hope this context helps, WEM stands for Watch Enthusiasts Melbourne and this is their logo, this dial, also in the group colours was created as a thank you to the group for their support and encouragement.
Out of my price range but I like it, a LOT! The profile is lovely, the finishing seems excellent and good specs. Would have liked to have seen an OTF clasp, especially at this price, but it’s impressive nonetheless.
Too expensive for the first watch, they should look at Monbrey, fantastic dial, finishing and materials for fair price, I really am just torn for Christmas to buy Monbrey mb2 or Serica California.
It's a very nice this one. The only thing I'm not keen on is the watch club branding at the bottom of the dial... I have thought about buying this a few times since they launched but it puts me off.. Having said the finishing and execution is excellent!
Very nicely finished. But at this price it needs at least the Sellita movement. Not a bottom tier clone. Also this needs a quick adjust clasp at the least. Nearly a thousand dollars and then paying import duties. Just too much for an unknown brand with an STP movement
You know what...I almost said the crown should be smaller but then you'd need to get a grip of it with gloves as it's and explorer watch so changed my mind...
Wouldn’t a much better lume test be whether you can read the time the next morning in the dark after normal use the previous day (ie no runway lights to charge it before bed)?
If I was in the market for yet another watch this would definitely be in the running ,although this one featured in the video is in my humble opinion the best of the range
Ocean to Orbit could be a great SLOGAN and it´s a VERY BAD BRAND NAME. I dont´see any special or outstanding for almost 900 eur. Anyway I wish them the best
Love the watch....I actually appreciate the hands beign different....I agree with you with the name of the watch and the Automatic wording beign there....but I could go passed that
Are sure it’s not pronounced “lots of”? That’s lots of money to be asking for a debut piece with way too much text on the dial. Maybe something can be done with an “OTO” type logo but spelling it out on the dial is just not for me.
I'm of the opinion that it's still wrong to refer to one marker as an index, because technically all markers put together form the index on a watch dial. The index represents the totality; the totality is divided into sections, which are marked by, well, markers. But yeah, regardless of your views on this, using 'index' to refer to a marker is still much less wrong than using 'indece' as a singular!
Case looks weirdly similar to sn0129, even the polished bits on the inside of the lugs. Value proposition seems way off. No reason to get this watch unless you fall crazy in love with the dial, and there's no reason to. Clasp doesn't even have on the fly adjust and the sheen the outer shell gives off looks like it came from an Addiesdive...
Sorry, the cluttered ugly text on the dial, dreadful name and font, kind of ruin the dial for me. There is really nothing particularly special, unique, or outstandingly different about this watch; it just looks like so many others out there, sadly. IMO it is significantly overpriced, and when you consider what else you can buy for that kind of money; it's simply nowhere near good enough. Big miss for me. Personally, and I know not everyone will agree on this, watch design needs to be about so much more than just the quality of the build. I want to see some genuinely new, fresh, original designs that stand out, especially at this kind of price.
all these micro's starting to look the same TBH
I hope my videos help to highlight the differences...
@@ilikewatches Love your videos!
This looks the Tuseno windbreaker with scissor clasp instead of the god awful butterfly clasp
yea I feel that, there's definitely gonna be a reconning for a lot of micro brands soon, no way they're all gonna survive

Ocean to Orbit would be great on the case back not on the dial.
I mean it's a nice watch but nothing really says new and exciting and at $900 I'm dangerously close to Longines Hydroconquest or a Mido/Tissot/Hamilton with money back gray market.
I told my girlfriend she drew her eyebrows too high. She seemed surprised.

G’day from Bendigo!👍🏼😎 I’ve got this watch on my list at the moment! Very well done gents.👏🏼
The SW-200 isn’t without its issues.. looks beautifully finished. But I need a date!
@ Um have you tried any online DATING sites?🤣😂
@@andrewd7586 nope, I’m wise! More money for watches 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤣
Would be a great watch if it were about $250
How could that be possible. The movement is worth around $200.
Too much writing on the dial, immediate no from me,.
All that text above the pinion 😮. They need to tidy that up.
849euros?
Everybody wants to be rich in our days...
It's Swiss made with Swiss movement. It's actually very difficult to go under 850€.
Now that's a looker! I like this one - but would suggest less text.

Met these guys at Watchfest. Really nice people & well made products.
A watch should be appreciated for it's beauty in design. It's a shame so many watches are wrecked with silly text on the dial. No thanks.
It does look better than the countless Chinese clones out there, but it's still about $100 too expensive

Too much text on face and over priced...
Gary.
Great job on avoiding the WEM text on the lower dial. Too much.
Cracking quality control, I daresay a premium has to be paid for a swiss movement.
Like the dial and color way.
nice looking watch for sure!
stp-11 that's the movement that failed in my super sea wolf ans zodiac said that they couldn't fix it for me
Very nicely finished. But at this price it needs at least the Sellita movement. Not a bottom tier clone. Also this needs a quick adjust clasp at the least. Nearly a thousand dollars and then paying import duties. Just too much for an unknown brand with an STP movement
I like it. Crown could be just a little smaller but I could live with it. Case shape has a vintage feel.
You know what...I almost said the crown should be smaller but then you'd need to get a grip of it with gloves as it's and explorer watch so changed my mind...

Hmmm looks so similar to other micros…i mean the Tuseno Windbreaker and then the Pittzman Overture…halios Universa
The vertical brushing on the other 3 dials remind me of the Omega Railmaster, but I keep telling myself no more microbrands. 😣
If I was in the market for yet another watch this would definitely be in the running ,although this one featured in the video is in my humble opinion the best of the range
Why in the ever living hell does every single watch these days need to have the words ‘automatic’ written on the day
Ocean to Orbit could be a great SLOGAN and it´s a VERY BAD BRAND NAME. I dont´see any special or outstanding for almost 900 eur. Anyway I wish them the best

It's alright. It's not £600 alright though. :(
Beautiful watch like to see what comes out next from them
Are sure it’s not pronounced “lots of”? That’s lots of money to be asking for a debut piece with way too much text on the dial. Maybe something can be done with an “OTO” type logo but spelling it out on the dial is just not for me.
Very nice watch, although I prefer the other colours. I rate the STP movements, I've only had good experiences with them.
Really like this watch but not the price to much for me. 😢
Great review! Would you please review the new Cronos GS 39mm L6037 as well?
THAN YOU for properly using "index" as the singular of "indeces." 😂
I'm of the opinion that it's still wrong to refer to one marker as an index, because technically all markers put together form the index on a watch dial. Well it's pretty but for this price I can buy better brands.
Very pretty. Good all around.
I’d want micro adjust for that money. Cheapo Chinese brands can do it
It’s a Chinese made, Swiss put-together. It doesn’t take much to get the Swiss Made moniker.
have you seen that Australian watch with red rock dial
Case looks weirdly similar to sn0129, even the polished bits on the inside of the lugs. Value proposition seems way off. No reason to get this watch unless you fall crazy in love with the dial, and there's no reason to. Clasp doesn't even have on the fly adjust and the sheen the outer shell gives off looks like it came from an Addiesdive...
Would buy it if the WEM wasn’t put prominently on the dial
I’d get a Damasko for only a bit more.
Awesome
Logo is really good, but the brand name doesn’t work for me.
Ocean to orbit?
The story of their life is shorter...
I like the blue steel lhotse with red tip second hand.
unfortunately it's a waste of time watching. Too pricey!! and for that reason, I'm out.
oh this is great, but the name oh my.. :-D
You don't need on-the-fly adjustment on a tool watch.. Come on seriously!
You might not need it at your desk but.. 😂
Lhotse to like about this watch.
Not worth the asking price .I can get some good watchdives for that price or 2 San Martin's
All made by san Martin
Lol. At that price not on your life. Bullshit.
Ocean to Orbit...ridicilous name
