To be fair to this boss, it’s arguably more difficult then the crimson fight, it just lacks the epic story context. The PWMK1s in this mode gave me more trouble with their damn omnidirectional railguns.
I wonder why are conquest PW.MK1s different from Crimson 1's 1. don't "nuke" themselves upon destruction (remember the way Crimson 1's plane exploded in the end?) 2. don't drop cluster bombs (red bubbles that burst into railgun shells) like Crimson 1 did on 3rd phase
A theory I have is Icarus Armories already had a standardized blueprint for the PW. mk1 craft, which is what we see in Conquest Mode. Project Wingman was initiated to discover new ways to push and exceed limits of their high tech craft, Crimson 1 taking the helm of that study. Imagine a military commercialized future gen aircraft, but on steroids
@@sparke66 i think the deathbubbles were just an illusion of monarch's high G damaged brain. they werent really there. also crimson 1 was so hard to shoot down cause monarch probably suffered an aim penalty aswell :D
maybe it were some kind of Energy Cells that got either overloaded or overheated and needed to be ejected or the plane might have exploded. (after all Cordium can cause huge destructions with a ton of Energy)
So imagine if task force 1 took off in campaign just imagine how skilled they are. Developers added them as final boss in conquest mode it does sound like to me their worse than crimson squadron. They got pw mk1s two of them & nosferatu rip offs too in their squadron
