I don't know why, but this song makes me imagine a magical armored train passing through the desert. Then a sandstorm begins to appear on the horizon and gets closer and closer until everyone realize that there are actually hundreds if not thousands of gnolls running after the train and then there is a fight on top of it with the party having to prevent the gnolls from stoping the train. It's such specific thing in my head and I would love to play it.
@@Mr-espinasA little tip for build up, I made this part of a campaign, the boss is an extremely strong gnoll who was previously captured to serve in an arena, like the coliseum, to fight against other monsters or gladiators. The thing is that when my players were at the station to catch the train, I showed colosseum patrons posters with the boss's image to capture him alive for a huge reward, because people liked seeing him fight, and the name of the boss "Bloody Jaw". I made the players talk to NPCs who were guards on the train saying that in the desert gnolls were common, being a problem for normal routes, but they rarely came together to be a problem for the train, and small groups were easily defeated by the guards and the defense systems, kind of doing marketing for his job. So I made the trip last 3 days, the first one was a basic fight with random monsters, but most of the time was free players talking to each other and NPCs. On the second day I did the thing I mentioned about the gnoll herd, where the idea would be that Blody Jaw, the boss, after being captured and placed in an arena, was fed the best meal possible for years, fought constantly for years and was still guinea pig of experiments to become stronger, becoming an alpha bitch to join a gigantic pack that caused the whole problem. In the end the group was traumatized and barely escaped the gnolls.
Listening to this single song created a Gnoll barbarian, a Fang of Yeenoghu, that my players are going to encounter in a few weeks. He sprung fully formed into my mind, vicious as hell. The party is going to be pushed to their limit.
For me its a Beast Barbarian human, loosely based on the Predator, afflicted with a unique lycanthropy curse; a weregnoll, and unbeknownst to them they act as a reality peephole for Yeenoghu into the material realm. The party has gathered a troupe of dubious allies, but they all have one common objective: hunt her down, or else she hunts them.
This brings back the big energy of my old 3.0/ 3.5 campaigns. Invading the Abyss, sundering a skirimish of the Blood War. The gnolls were always a favorite enemy for my games, considering the damage and predation they used to do.
The game I run for my cousins and brother is Yeenoghu centric, and this gave me an unbelievably badass and terrifying Yeenoghu theme that WILL be used. I cannot even begin to say how much this conveys the pure chaotic nightmare that is the demon lord and his legions.
Heaven banished the Wolves to Hell to gain power over Heaven, the Wolves got tortured by Demons, but alas this was not the end. What Heaven didn't expect was for the Wolves to overrun Hell and take Hell's throne. Now the Wolves march on Heaven Gates. Heaven begs for Mercy. There can be no Mercy for the Betrayers Only Punishment
It should be illegal to only have 200 subscribers and have made something as purely epic as this. This is something that should be played during the sacrifice of the old gods to the new ones.

While not the BBEG, I have this beast as the final boss. Yeenoghu's got a bit of a chip in their shoulder after Idyllglen...so why not correct that mistake?
I'm gonna use this not for a fight with Yeenoghu, but for a massive nighttime assault by gnolls on the fortress city of Eshpurta, which is the only thing standing between them and all the fresh meat in Amn.
I'm gonna guess some kind of copyright problem If you look in the description a music that is just the drums is listed automatically by TH-cam. And it sounds EXACTLY like the intro drum from this video. My guess is that this video is a mix of different tracks.
