Back in ancient times, Lilith was often imagined as some kind of predatory night bird or owl and was blamed for the death of newborns or babies when no other explanation was understood. Kind of appropriate that it's associated with dead babies, considering the modern popularity in some subcultures surrounding Lilith. The legend about Lilith being Adam's first wife is considered by some to have been created or spread by Gentiles as a slight toward Hebrew women but there is plenty of historical evidence to show its Judaic origin.
The origin of the story of Lilith as the first wife of Adam is quite well known; it was the Alphabet of Ben Sira, a Jewish work of the middle ages.
Negative, that's the tale the church made of it. Lilith actually protected infants. Look up her original origin and not the story that the idiotic Abrahamic religion made of her. There is not even any base for Lilith to be Adam's wife as well. That's based on the Ben Sira narrative and that's a very questionable approach.

Interesting to stumble on this as the eye and fish can appear the same! I have a kitten, Lilith. I believe in Spirit stories and ghost history. She's come to my dreams since I was about four. My mother told me that I would wake up talking to her and quite a few times she had heard me talking to her (Lilitu) from sleep. She said there was only one time as a child I'd gone running to her room scared from the dreams (SP dreams). I remember when I was around eight, she'd asked me if I still had the dreams with who I always called Lamastu Anu'Calla - I told her I did and often. She'd asked me how I learned to be brave or was there a reason I didn't come wake her or my dad because of the dreams, i told my parents both that "Lilith said there is no reason to be afraid of Her." Thoroughly freaked out my Melkite parents, but She's never left me no matter what whenever I have needed Her - she's there.

"This is far as I we'll take you!" My translator said. I nodded and payed the driver and the translator and they left in a hurry. They would only return at this point after I call for pick up. Good thing I over packed supplies. I followed the shoddy map and the land marks and I found the cave. The deep of the cave gave way to a dangerous winding halls and staircases. It took me deep into the cold earth a respite from the beating sun. I thought I might have been scammed again but as I entered the greater part of the cave It was clear this place was ancient. I lit a fire in what seemed to be a hearth. I studied every inch of the stone in this place. The shapes and markings resembled some civilizations but also another unrecognizable one. I laid down for one night of rest and I did not dream. In my sleep and in my mind I beheld visions, they were of the past, the present and the future and they were terrible. I awoke early in a cold sweat and I couldn't shake the disturbing feeling that I was being watched. I quickly left with my notes in a hurry.

I noticed a bump in dark ambient meditations/songs dedicated to specific entities from many cultures, but new artists/projects without representation have to be discovered somehow and this artist is still a gem among them. (If that's what you meant?) The other theme I encountered was "sith meditation." Anyway, glad I stumbled upon this piece in particular.
