I just purchased a primatech based off that demonstration. Thank you. I've been fighting with a hose I bought from a big box store. After just putting down 200 feet of quarter round I'm trashing my old one.

Best air hose I ever used was some air hose a supplier sold to my work. Not sure what brand it was but it’s better than flexilla. Stronger sidewall than flexillla ,zero memory no kink at all. I think it was 300psi and had barbed fittings so if it got damaged you cut it and pop it right back together. Flexilla can be repaired too but it has two pieces that requires tolls to tighten. This one you just press back on and done.
Update: flexilla is not really quickly repairable anymore. They changed the design now and it’s worse. The old style had a nut coupler that compressed the hose and the new style is a non reusable crimp fitting and I’ve had a brand new one blow apart twice in a week. Looks like a faulty crimp but can’t be reused. I would not recommend Flexilla anymore.

The flexzilla is actually a 3/8” ID air hose with 1/4” fittings. It is what I am currently using as well. The additional ID size of the hose does make a difference. It adds additional air storage capacity much as an additional air tank will but without the tank. You will notice the difference when you unplug your air hose and you can hear how much more air is released from the hose vs a normal 1/4” air hose. The trick to ANY air hose is to uncoil it before you plug it in to your air compressor.
That Primatech air hose is beginning to twist and bungle up where it is laying on the carpet. No different than any other air hose when you’re going to stretch out the air hose so you can nail something 40+ feet away from your air compressor. I’d have to use it for a week to see how it actually works vs simply plugging it in and declaring it a winner.

Harbor freight lay flat hose the blue one with the nylon outer cover is one of the finest ones I’ve ever owned and used! It is a 3/8 thick one but it handles like a well broken in n highly trained 1/4 thick one. Pretty good quality and price. I’ve used polyurethane and rubber n hybrids at work second place would go to the hybrids hoses they are very good easy to use but #1 is my blue bastard from the freight, when it finally breaks I’ll make it into a art piece and display it in my house to honor n remember its glory and legacy

I only use the 1/4 polyurethane light blue hoses that you have there. Only in 25ft lengths. I use the heavy rubber ones at home in the garage

25FT IS EASIER TO DEAL WITH FOR SURE

Light blue one sucks, only becouse it deteriorates to soon. If I was a commercial guy well thems is disposables. Cant aford that. I usually get fifty feet and trim them down three pieces one shorter than the last. Absolutely hate when they burst and haven't time to go to big box store!!

It has been a long time now since this video, and I have both brands and since I have been using them both, they are so close. It is hard to actually say which one is better than they are both really nice.
