Subject: Expressing Gratitude and Seeking Assistance for SAT Math Accelerator Dear John, I trust this message finds you well. I am immensely grateful for your recent email and the generous offer to join the SAT Math Accelerator program. Your belief in student success is truly inspiring. I want to convey my heartfelt thanks for extending the course to me for free. Your understanding of my financial situation is deeply appreciated. Regrettably, due to our current low family income, I am unable to afford such valuable educational resources. The prospect of enhancing my SAT Math scores through your program excites me, and I am committed to putting in the necessary effort. However, given my financial constraints, I find myself in a challenging position. In light of this, I am reaching out to inquire if there might be any possibility of financial assistance or alternative arrangements. I am genuinely eager to embark on this journey of improvement and believe that, with your guidance, I can make a significant difference in my SAT performance. Your consideration in this matter would mean a great deal to me, and I am open to any suggestions or options you may have in mind. Once again, thank you for your support and understanding. I eagerly await your guidance and the opportunity to work towards achieving my goals. Best regards, Asif.
The problem is, there are only 4 practice tests for the DSAT and I wanna keep most of them to a later date. Right now I've been practicing on the older format practice tests but that away there are a few topics I'm missing. Also I haven't found the actual previous DSAT tests to go over or anyone that goes over them. I would appreciate any help!
in the graph the only solution that matches the question is the 7. theres not a intersection in x=7.5 but yes in x=-7.5 but thats not an answer so that why he says thats the only sol. is 7
for oxbridge they want APs that align with your major the most, as do i'm guessing harvard and mit. since you're applying for a natural science, they will likely want (and oxbridge even requires) a 5 on ap calc ab or ap calc bc. the AP sciences and maths are what you should take, but a couple easy APs here and there like psychology or environmental science won't hurt.
yeah. u would need to plug in each option into the inequalities and calculate it in ur head. if both inequalities hold true, then that is ur solution. if ur comfortable with mental health it'll take about the same amount of time as desmos, but desmos ensures u don't make any silly mistakes
The SAT looks to be creeping ever so slowly to being a Desmos-only calculator test. These 3 problems can be done on a TI-84 Plus CE without difficulty. That's what most students are using now anyway.
The wording on the first question is unclear (I'm not blaming the content creator...this is on the people writing the SAT). The word "smallest" when referring to numbers, at least among mathematicians, refers to the number closest to zero, which is not necessarily the number that is furthest to the left on the number line. Honestly, I would have selected the other x-intercept on the problem you solved.

There was two answers for 20 (-7.5 and 7) which one do u choose
in the graph the only solution that matches the question is the 7. theres not a intersection in x=7.5 but yes in x=-7.5 but thats not an answer so that why he says thats the only sol. is 7
The positive one.
Hey jhon are these only questions we must use desmos i am only asking must thanks
pls someone could you tell me which ivy college is best for natural science? and how much AP class is worthy for harvard, mit or oxbridge ?
Take everything.
for oxbridge they want APs that align with your major the most, as do i'm guessing harvard and mit. since you're applying for a natural science, they will likely want (and oxbridge even requires) a 5 on ap calc ab or ap calc bc. the AP sciences and maths are what you should take, but a couple easy APs here and there like psychology or environmental science won't hurt.
Natural science.... First college coming to mind is Dartmouth
Is it possible to solve the last question without using Desmos?

Hello John.
I just don't understand, what's DESMOS? Is it an app provided in DSAT to help us solve this kind of questions?
yea it’s allowed. on the exam day you’ll find a calculator button on ur screen. that’s desmos
@wilson67-p8s thank you so much. My exam is on December 7, I'm preparing for it.
@ omg me tooo hahaah i’m kinda nervous tbh but let’s hope we get a perfect score. good luck with your exam all the best
@wilson67-p8s well, I don't feel that nervous, but I'm sure I will on the exam day. Thank you, wish you best!
