  • For years, J.Crew has been a clothing store with something for everyone, but the company has been having some financial difficulties as of late. Stores started closing a few years ago, and the company filed for bankruptcy in May of 2020, but that doesn’t mean all of the stores will be closing. They are hoping to get through this challenge and continue on as a successful company, and it is far from the first hurdle they’ve had to jump through over the years.
    Let’s take a look at some things that you should know before buying from J.Crew again.

    Where do you usually go to shop for clothes?

    There was a time when I went into the store and wanted everything in there. Then, insidiously I wanted less and less as the years went on. Not that my style changed, I always liked the look. It's just that the quality seemed like it just kept deteriorating. They stopped doing as many collabs too. Good luck to J. Crew. Hopefully they come out of this ok and go back to what made them great.... quality..

      I kind of agree. I’ve had a ton of jcrew and Anthropologie. Love the colors. And while I am in my thirties I like to have pieces that have color. This year their clothes looks like Gap. And for the prices I’d just buy elsewhere. This is the first time that my shopping cart has less then 5 item.

    I love their range of colors and creativity. It’s hard to find clothes that use real cotton and silk nowadays. I don’t do polyester clothing anymore. Over the cheap clothing that doesn’t last. Their designers have been killing it recently!

    Some info is outdated. They stopped making their catalogs to save paper... wasn’t bringing revenue anymore. They need a better rewards program and an interactive app for shopping online. Cmon jcrew! Get with the technology!

    It's exhaustingly obvious that J.Crew paid for this video to be made. Y'all are promoting the idea of signing up for retail credit cards?

  • @mach5jeep
    @mach5jeep 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The only hope for these retailers is to prove to be a better quality. You can't compete on price because Amazon and Walmart has that on lock.
    This year I have purchased a few sweaters and several boots from J.Crew and have been more than satisfied. The sweaters are nice, thick wool and the boots user Horween leather and Vibram soles. To be truthful I did wait for these to go on sale
    Not sure why I posted this here on what is obviously a video advert paid for by J.Crew. Pushing retail credit cards? SMH

    I love J.Crew, their quality is exceptional. I have lots of clothes from them. But it’s a great pity their summer dress are usually sleeveless and their skirts are usually knee length or shorter which is not age appropriate for me. Sad.

      Just because a company is going bankrupt doesn’t mean the clothes looks bad. It’s usually because the trends and society has shifted so much where there’s no longer a want to go to a store. Aka the fad is over and people are all about fads. Restaurants, cars, clothes, etc.
