Jamie FYI Kiel is where the MAK -Caterpillar engines were built for Carnival Mardi-Gras , Celebration, Jubilee I work for a Cat Dealer and parts come from Kiel to us
Paulaner is the beer brand. Muenchen is Munich, where the main brewery is. They have a tent at oktoberfest. Most gasthauses in Germany will advertise the beers they offer.
What a informative video of visiting Lubeck in Germany! You have such a wonderful life and such a joy to watch you enjoying the stop in Luback! You are living my dream!
Another wonderful V-Log!! I really liked the lunchtime footage, I enjoy schnitzel also, but next time try ordering it with a fried egg on top.....It's off Da chizzle.
Adding to the Paulaner comment - I would recommend any of the Munich breweries with a tent at Octoberfest to fellow American beer fans. My favorite is Hacker-Pschorr - there's also Hofbrau & Augustiner. You won't be disappointed.
Leaving on our Baltic cruise in 3 weeks and have been bingeing on your videos. Lots of great ideas! What was the name of the restaurant in Lubeck; not sure if I missed it but would love to check it out.
I am really enjoying your videos and are very helpful in planning for some of the same ports for a cruise we have in June. For train station in Kiel was it very far from port or could you walk? It looks like you took a bus but just wondering how far it is? Thanks so much!
Honestly it confused me that there even were different prices, as NAH.SH. (the train, bus etc. tariff zone company) manages the prices, and I‘ve never experienced that prices would change throughout the day, I‘ve always experienced it to be the same, as it is a „Verbundticket“ (I can’t find a good translation for it)
We are the family you met at the restaurant in Lubeck. It was the best meal we had on the trip. We've been enjoying all of your videos of the Baltics.
It was great to meet you. So funny running into you at a restaurant off the beaten path....

Impressive! Nice choice of music, Matthew’s history knowledge/interest is nice to see.
"Train Deals" in Europe happens a lot after 9 am. to ease the capacity during rush hour commutes
Another adventure and almost pier runners!! What a story to tell for years to come!
What a fun time! And great stories! You all are very brave. If I'm not on the ship with at least an hour to spare, I start to have anxiety attacks :D
My wife and I have come to the conclusion that Matthew needs to travel with us. 😂😂❤

Bikes in Amsterdam are crazy! Don't know how they ever find theirs!
Whats the most beautiful place you visited on a cruise

I would say too far to walk..takes 30 minutes at least..the bus was quick and easy.
Was that $40 RT per person ? There probably was a group day ‘lander’ ticket for less
49 Euro for 5 with the group day ticket
